I stayed at Hotel Granada in Midtown Atlanta last night and overall found it to be a charming and aesthetically lovely boutique hotel. The property has a lot of character and the vibe is very cute.
Check-in was a bit slow, as the front desk associate mentioned it was her first time checking someone in. She was incredibly sweet and genuinely tried her best, but you could tell she was still learning the process.
I stayed in a King Suite, which was beautifully designed with a cozy sitting area. However, the bedroom windows facing the main road didn’t latch properly. This let in cold air all night and also all the noise from the street—sirens, traffic, and even the valet—making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.
A couple of room layout issues added to the inconvenience: there was only one bedside table, and there were no electrical outlets near the bed, so I couldn’t charge my phone within reach overnight.
Another downside was the lack of coffee or tea. There was none in the room, and none available on the property until 7 AM. I had an early morning and would’ve really appreciated access to a hot drink before leaving. When I asked about it, the front desk attendant was helpful but a bit assertive.
Overall, the hotel is charming and has potential, but several operational and comfort issues made the stay less comfortable than expected.
