One thing I quickly discovered here, is that there isn't a washer and dryer machines in this hotel. This was a let down because we have clothes to was the would not be ideal for dry cleaning.
The blood or shit stain finger print was not a nice thing to see as we were getting ready to brush our teeth. We saw this after we requested no room service.
Because we did not get room service, we were given vouchers to the restaurant four the number of days we are hear and by number of people in the room. Not bad, but I will let the front desk know, so no one else has to look at that....
On another note, tomorrow is Canada Day, and it will be an experience to see the parade from our deck lounge.

Well there is no prade, but there will be fireworks once the sun goes down. I look forwards to getting photos of this tonight.
I found out that getting as microwave sent to your room costs 10 bucks for your entire stay. Cool.
The pool/gym looked inviting, but I did not pack a swimming suit. The thought had occurred to me, but I just didn't get my ass in gear and bring one.
Also the men's locker room looked clean enough, but knowing a lot of bare feet are touching the ground, I would want to wear some sandals to protect my feet.
The towel lady I saw wasn't out spokenly friendly, but will answer your questions if you have them. Remind me of Rosie The Riveter from Blue Fox Cafe.
The fire works were pretty loud and I could hear it from my room. However, I could only see some of the fireworks from a reflection of a near by window. I got outside just in time to see the last of the fireworks go out. Que Sera Sera they say.

After 2 times of getting a pitcher of sparkling water from the restaurant, I asked for one more pitcher tonight for my dinner in our room. Since we were not eating at the restaurant, I was charged $4 something for the pitcher. It's a fine and dandy. The bartender was cool and very helpful. I appreciate the service he provided. We may be back to the restaurant one more time before we leave the hotel and Canada.
Our trip back home might be a challenging one, but I will write about it later on. Gotta get some sleep.

Today I wear the socks along with the Canadian Jersey sold for Canada Day. I also have a black maple leaf cap to wear with my black Victoria Canada vest. I am definitely having a Canadian day. I just shout tourists.
That's okay. I am comfortable looking like a tourist, because I am.
Went to get breakfast and noticed a lot of the Americans who arrived when we did have left already. Also noticed five years ago, I saw very little ethnicity in Victoria Canada. Five year later we are back and I have seen a tremendous increase of ethnic background.
This is a good thing.
Well, it's time to check out and I am expecting an interesting return experience. Stay tuned.
