Hotel Grotta

We enjoyed our stay at hotel Grotta. The breakfast Is absolutely amazing and caters for all dietary requirements. The spa is lovely and a good way to have some relaxing time. The view from our balcony was incredible, such a beautiful sunset over the temple of Apollo! The service is so friendly and the staff is very attentive to all the guests needs. Would recommend and return as it's a great value!

We had the best stay here. The hotel staff were so kind and helpful in making sure our stay was comfortable. The breakfasts were some of the best I've ever had at a hotel. The spa and rooftop deck were lovely as well. We stayed here in October and rented a car, and it was never hard to find a spot to parallel park near the hotel. I can't think of anything I would change. It was a great home base for exploring Naxos and I would love to stay at Hotel Grotta again if I return.

Hotel grotto is near the port and has beautiful views of the water. We were welcomed and given drinks and a snack on the house. They knew it was our anniversary and even gave us a bottle of wine and note. They went above and beyond during our stay ensuring we were comfortable and helped arrange a ride to the port for our baggage when we left. I will definitely book here again when we visit Naxos. Also, the breakfast is really good with many different options on the buffet. I highly recommend and couldn’t believe how inexpensive the hotel was based on all of our amenities. This place is amazing. The staff are wonderful. The breakfast is a cornucopia of local dishes cooked on site. The views are breathtaking. The room was small but had everything we needed. We stayed 3 night and loved every minute. I give this place a hearty two thumbs up. I hope we can come back some time.

Pros: welcome drink, free transfers, private spa, amazing breakfast spread, lovely roofdeck, great water pressure, complimentary bottled water|Cons: room is in small side, free lot for parking fills up quickly and some may not feel comfortable street parking on narrow street inclines||Just lovely hotel. Great location just outside the port and chora with lovely view. It's clear hotel grotta takes hospitality seriously. We typically find hotels to be a little impersonal but not the case here - warm greetings, helpful staff, and genuine recommendations colored our stay. ||We enjoyed watching sunset from the roof (grab a glass of house white wine from the bar downstairs) and reserving the spa and small pool for a 30 minute slot each day. ||Breakfast was comprehensive, tasty, and homemade and beds and showers very comfortable. First week of October and all restaurants were still open (compared to the smaller nearby island Koufonisia which was starting to close for the season). Note that the garden view rooms are close to the spa but are below street level (no view of anything other than the hotel). Would definitely stay again - thank you Honey and team for a memorable visit!

We stayed 6 nights in October, it was our 2nd visit. We had a room with sea view. We enjoyed our time at the hotel: the room, the breakfast, the view and specially the staff. All the staff are lovely, really helpful and so friendly. We enjoyed cocktails at the bar, great cocktails. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay. Hopefully, see you next year.

We stayed at hotel Grotta for 3 nights at the start of our Greek island hopping holiday. We got picked up from the port (free of charge) and then greeted with a free drink and some Naxos cheese pie (must try), very good hospitality.||The room was lovely and we had a view of the sea/ Naxos main town which was approximately around 5 minutes walk away. ||Breakfast had a great variety and was all fresh.||Would stay here again without a doubt!

It was perfect, I have no complaints. The spa is very well organized so that you are not bothered by other people/couples. The breakfast was very good and they procured gluten free items for me. They gave us a free drink on arrival and a bit of food (we were starving a bit after a long trip). They also gave us excellent tips on what to see on the island. I recommend it.
