How Two Queer-Owned Restaurant Groups Are Thriving in Oklahoma | Eater

"A longstanding gay institution in the 39th Street Entertainment District that was later renamed, this venue has been part of the city's earlier queer nightlife fabric and is often referenced as a touchstone for the pre-expansion scene." - Matt Kirouac

Easily the worst accommodation of any type I have ever stayed at! Can't believe this place has a rating over 2.0. Dirty and sticky room floor, half-washed bed sheets, and paper-thin walls and doors with the midnight music blasting from around the room easily overheard.

An small but nice hotel in the heart of downtown in Mexico City a couple of blocks from the zocalo by walking

Located in the Centro Historico, only about 15 minutes walk from the Zocalo, but the price is very reasonable. The rooms were spotlessly clean. Of course, you do need to know at least some basic tourist-level Spanish and have a good dictionary and phrasebook (this is after all a Spanish-speaking country!) to communicate with the staff since this is not a tourist trap where everyone speaks English; but all the employees are courteous, dignified, helpful, and professional. The hotel is across the street from a decent restaurant and a small grocery story, and only a few blocks away from the EXCELLENT Cafe La Blanca and Cafe El Popular, so food is always nearby. (If your flight arrives late, there are vending machines in the lobby). The nearest subway station is about a 10 minute walk, if I remember correctly, which is VERY convenient. The only problem was the noise: since there are long corridors and skylights (the skylight shafts go all the way down to the basement floor) noise travels and amplifies itself significantly, and occasionally some guests have WILD, rather scary-sounding parties. But that was the only problem we noticed: it bothered my wife more than it did me, since she is a light sleeper. All in all, though, I would highly recommend it.

We stayed here during renovation in February 2011. It smelled of paint, but that was inevitable. Everything was impeccably clean, very large bed, and we paid around 260 pesos per night.||There is no breakfast here but you have options within walking distance.||It's close to the Zocalo / center but not in the nicest street, hence the price (currently 320 pesos).||Great value, recommended if you're on a budget. Otherwise, for 200 pesos more consider Hotel Lepanto, about 1.5km away. I will review that one too soon.

It's a cozy place the only thing is mornings are really noisy. They start cleaning at around 7. I woke up because of that.

Hotel Habana has great value, double rooms, clean, large rooms with king size beds, bathroom for M$320, can't get that in Latin Americas mainly overpriced hostels. Good location not far from Metro Allende, and the Plazas of Centro Historica.||||Downside:||Unfortunately due to the way the hotel was constructed, every little noise echos through out the building, banging doors, furniture being moved, walking about in high heels on tile floors and people talking. This will continue throughout the night until 4 - 5 in the morning especially when people return from night clubbing and have no consideration for other hotel guests.||I do not recommend staying here if you want to sleep. We stayed in a back 2nd floor room and one close to the front on the 2nd floor.

For $48/night this is tough to beat. Nothing crazy fancy by any means but clean and safe. Lots of good street tacos close by and a 10 minute Uber to the airport.
