We had the best time at Hotel Indigo, the private beach and the two pools were amazing. We rented SUP and went to a secluded beach area where we hung out and played with the kids.||The rooms were really nice and well decorated, minimal and chic. The beds and sheets were okay, not the most comfortable but okay. ||All of the restaurants are great, we loved the brunch at Barco where Francisco was our waiter. They were great and accommodated the kids requests. Overall we would highly recommend.

The hotel is nestled in a private guard gated area with private villas and private condos. The property is beautiful. The rooms were clean, bed comfortable and cold A/C. The view from the reception area is gorgeous.|The gym is a bit small but has 2 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, a bench, weights, jump rope, yoga mats and even a TV. There is a filtered water dispenser and extra towels, so you don't need to bring them. The Wifi worked great by the pool, reception area, business center and at the Barco restaurant. In our room on the 3rd floor, the signal was a little weak and would disconnect. |The service was great. The employees were very courteous and some were friendlier than others. The check in and check out was smooth. The person who checked us out was friendlier than the one at check in. |Shout out to our servers at Barco, Jose Lopez and Francisco. Both were attentive and provided superior service. Francisco filled in for Martin at the Pool bar on Wednesday and he was great there as well. We enjoyed Martin's service at the Pool. He constantly checked in on us and gave us recommendations when asked. |We enjoyed our time at the Resort. The only flaw I saw when we were there was, the woman's bathroom by the pool, one stall (there's 2) was broken and water was leaking.||The ride down to 'Downtown La Paz' is about 5 miles or 15-20 minutes depending on your Uber driver. It costs about $100MX Pesos each way (about $5 USD).

Mostly a positive experience. Stayed here three nights. About 20 min outside La Paz, in a resort area with isolated beach area, shops and services, and marina. Staff were pleasant and hard working, especially the folks at the beach area. Typical resort mark up and limited food, drink, and service selection. Check in was delayed, which was a problem because the temperature was 97F+ and they had no cool place for us to wait other than in the sun next to the pool. My wife ended up ill and I irrationally angry, not the best experience at the start of our stay. No cool area, no outside or gym showers, nothing like that. Shallow calm beach area with stingrays—so shuffle your feet to avoid getting stung. Nice lap pool. Room was fairly small for the money but the bed was good. Plenty of children at the resort, so if you’re looking for a quiet getaway this probably is not it. Infuriating soap/shampoo dispensers of all things; metal contraptions designed by an idiot are simply avoided by pulling the dispenser bottles out. Insisted we check out on time despite memberships, etc., which was annoying after being forced to wait past our check in time for a room. Frankly think there are better places in La Paz to stay, especially for the money.

Great hotel, clean, modern and nice amenities with a Grab and Go with Starbucks coffee. A nice size pool with bar service. A private beach was great since there were no vendors selling to you on the beach. They also had a bar service on the beach as well. They had chairs on the beach, floating cabanas and a floating slide for the kids. There were stingrays seen in the water on this beach but no incident during our stay. Food was good at the cafe restaurant for breakfast. We used the spa for a massage and wonderful experience, I wished I had booked 2 spa appointments during our stay there. It is a little out of the way to the boardwalk but not that far, but out of the way, it would have been nice if the hotel provided a shuttle to town. You will need to rent a car if in this location to get around if you plan to drive to town or to another beach.

This is an exceptional hotel, especially for the price. We have traveled to all the big resort towns in Mexico and La Paz offers a refreshingly different type of vacation. The Hotel Indigo feels similar to an Andaz style resort, especially down at the beach club with the “naturey” vibes. The pool by the beach is the best part of the facility, truly a unique experience. They have floating cabanas in the ocean, a floating water slide, and the bay is super shallow all around. My 4 year old was able to walk all over the bay in the water. ||The service is great here. All of the staff are eager to please and have genuinely kind attitudes. Jafet the manager does an excellent job with his team. Some other individuals who stood out in their helpfulness were Martin, Aaron, Chico, Raul, and I’m sure I’m missing a few others. ||There are some solid restaurants walking distance from the hotel in the nice marina area, and the malecon is a quick (and cheap!) taxi ride away. This is the place to go for people who expect luxury travel but are fed up with the insane prices most five star resorts charge these days. I will definitely be back not only to La Paz but to this specific hotel. I’ll probably splurge for a villa next time as those seem to be pretty sweet.

We are a retired couple from the US. We spent a week at the Indigo February 26 to March 5, 2025. We had an excellent stay and enjoyed the facility, but even more, the staff. We would like to bring up a few positives and negatives based on our experience. The positives: super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff, beautiful location, nice amenities, including the beach club, a large pool and several restaurants. Among the staff, a concierge lady named Nik (sorry if misspelled) Wong was extremely nice, helpful and knowledgeable. As a former business owner I can advise the hotel management: do everything possible to keep her! Outstanding professional and A+ person! Her assistant Paulina was nice as well. Negatives: noise heard in our room from the next door bathroom. The beautiful pool needs the floor to be replaced/repaired.

This was our 1st trip to La Paz and Hotel Indigo is a hidden gem in paradise. It sits on a property on the sea of Cortez and borders a lovely Marina with a few top notch restaurants. The Hotel itself is beautiful and has a few restaurants &two pools. The staff is friendly, the grounds are lovely, the rooms are beautiful and I highly recommend this hotel. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

I was blown away by this property. Everything about it was stunning, I could not get over how beautiful everything was. The views, the rooms, the grounds, the common areas were all impeccable. In my opinion, the room rates are insanely low for what you get. I booked a suite, and it was probably one of the most beautiful rooms I've ever stayed in. I found the beds to be extremely comfortable. The staff was wonderful; from reception, to housekeeping, to service everyone was warm and friendly. We spent a lot of time at the STUNNING beach club. We never had to fight for space anywhere, not sure if this is due to the time of our visit or if it's always like this. Special should out to Raul! He was an excellent server!
