Hôtel La Ferme d'Augustin

I chose La Ferme D'Augustin after tons of research on where to stay in Saint Tropez and felt slightly underwhelmed. It is, in fact, a lovely hotel, so let me start with the positives. The setting of the remodeled Provencal farmhouse is lovely. The buildings are so well cared for and charming. The grounds are well kept. The rooms have been recently updated and the bathroom is stunning. Housekeeping is top notch and includes daily cleaning and evening tidying and turn down, which helps the experience feel luxury. They have a car that can shuttle you into town until 6 pm and you can rent bikes for a fee. Having a pool is a nice option and it's a cute spot. The deciding factor for us was the proximity to the beach. We figured we would want to be able to easily get to and from the beach anytime we wanted with minimal hassle, and it is just a 5-10 minute walk to Pompellonne. The hotel also made us a couple of reservations, which was a help. They also accommodated us staying an extra night without changing rooms when airport strikes affected our flight. Finally, there is ample parking on site and there is no extra charge for that.||On the downside, I feel like it is extremely expensive for what you get, and yes, I realize it is Saint Tropez. I am usually pretty good at noticing things hotels don't make obvious, but I missed that there is literally no ocean view from anywhere on the property, except perhaps the high up balcony rooms. I had wanted a sea view balcony room but they were all booked and I knew I was not getting a room with a view, but I was under the impression you could see the sea from spots by the pool or that perhaps you could sit somewhere on the property with a water view. Just know that this is not the case. We took a Superior Room which is certainly not the lowest option and it is quite small, though well appointed. There are two closets and many shelves, but the room is tight. It has a patio but it's not very inviting - two iron chairs and table in gravel next to your neighbors. The bathroom update is luxurious, but in 2025 why would you not put a door on a toilet in a small hotel room? The toilet open to everything pretty much renders the beautiful bathroom useless for the other guest. Also, there isn't a real mini fridge, more like a fridge with a block of ice in the back with a warning not to put food in it. I am not sure if we had a new employee check us in, but we had to inquire about where to park and had no offers to help with bags. Given it's not a standard hotel with a lift bank, making many trips with bags through the parking lot, up stone steps, and through gravel after a 10 hour drive was not so fun or luxurious. ||We had a lovely stay and it is a pretty place. I personally just felt a little underwhelmed for the price. We stayed in shoulder season and the Superior Room was 800 Euro on the weekend and 500 weeknight. Partly it is Saint Tropez, but by comparison to other high end places like Santorini, Amalfi, Maldives, Val Thorens - the accommodations and views for the same price were jaw dropping, and included beautiful breakfasts in the stay.

We had a very good stay. The hotel is beautiful and a lovely place to spend time. Davide, the maître d’ and Kushal were fantastic and so kind and helpful. The front desk team particularly Charlotte were amazing!

We stayed here for two nights our second trip after staying last year too.The location is very good a few mins from Pampelonne beach and its beach clubs.A super friendly warm welcome from the team makes you feel at home straight away.Our room and terrace just perfect.A shuttle into St Tropez is an added bonus.A beautiful property super clean and peaceful what is not to like.We will for sure return here next year our favourite hotel in the area.

La Ferme d'Augustin is exquisite with very comfortable and well-appointed rooms in the style of a tasteful French Riviera hotel. The entire staff is so welcoming and willing to help. It is only minutes away from the iconic beach, and has one of the best restaurants I have visited in the south of France (this was my fifth trip to the area). We had dinner in their restaurant several times because the food was spectacular - fish and seafood were so fresh (usually caught that morning) and prepared perfectly, as were all other items we ordered. The wine selection, some from local wineries, was equally outstanding. So important to the success of our gastronomic experience was our waiter Nash, whose expertise was impressive. His suggestions were "on point" for us all around. His very friendly demeanor and attention to us was so appreciated. We are looking forward to our return visit!

La Ferme is truly one of the best places we’ve ever experienced in the world. From the pristine environment to the exceptional food and hospitality, we regret having spent time at any other property in France. We feel so lucky to have discovered this beautiful gem of a hotel. La Ferme nourishes the body and soul like an expert florist to its flower. Highly recommend.

This hotel was beautiful! Staff was so friendly! The pool is mineral water and was so relaxing. I highly recommend staying here if you want an elegant St.Tropez feel. My friend and I are in our 20s and we thought it was perfect location next to all the beach clubs and nightlife.

Very nice hotel right next to the beach. Lovely grounds with nice gardens and flowers. With this unfortunately comes bugs.The restaurant was very accommodating (we could see them bringing candles out to tables and plates with extra food to distract the bees). One of us were stung on the hand as the bees were quite aggressive. Once again it’s not the hotels fault but there is just a lot of bees.||Furthermore we were taken on a tour when we arrived telling us they were showing us to our room. We arrived at what we found out was a suite and we thought that this was where we were staying. After we started to put our things down we were told that it wasn’t our room but instead an upgrade option. ||The lady wasn’t overly pushy but said she would make us a “nice price” when we got back to the front desk. Here she just told us the regular price for the suite (which was double of the room that we had booked) and then requested that we make her an offer for the upgrade. ||We ended up agreeing to an upgrade but the “haggle” didn’t feel very upscale in our opinion and was a bit off putting. I understand it’s a sales tactic (as the room obviously wasn’t booked that night) and we agreed but in hindsight wouldn’t have without the added pressure and incentive of being told it would be a “nice price”and going all the way back to the front desk carrying all of our stuff. ||All this to say, just be aware that when they show you to your room it might not actually be your room but instead a sales pitch.

This hotel is one of a kind. It is located on a 5 minute walk to the beach. We were greeted Saskya who very kindly show us the entire property and it’s amenities. We were surprised how beautiful the property really is and their service is top quality. The hotel is family owned and the way we were treated felt like home. They have a pool that has a mixture of minerals which feel so good while sunbathing. The restaurant is also top quality, the chef came to see if we liked our food after, which we gladly did. This hotel is a gem, highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful, oasis and being treated like family. They also offer massage which we didn’t try because our short 3 day stay. Will definitely come back next time we come to St Tropez!

Nice surrounding near Tahiti beach. Restaurant is nice and quiet. We ordered the tomatoes plate (fine but too much celery) sardines stuffed (delicious) and calamari marinated. Very good , tasty. Apple pie for désert. Service is very good.

We just checked in. Lunch was epic, foie gras& fresh figs (from their farm )with fig chutney on Artisanal rustic bread THE BEST, Nicoise is fantastic , &hotel produces their rosé on the estate, "Clos Bellevue" . La Ferme takes great pride in their self sustaining harvest, including their olive oil produced from the olive trees on the estate. So good so good so good. Authentic & genuine kindness from the entire staff. We forego dinner in town to stay for dinner here later.
