Hotel la Hacienda Bahía Paracas

We stayed in the hotal with my husband and we absolutely loved it!|We stayed in the room with the direct access to the pool, so you can go to your private terrace and here's the pool right next to it, it was just amazing! The place is quiet, you can enjoy your peaceful weekends there. There are several pool, one of them is warm, so you can enjoy it in the evening. The restaurant was also great, the breakfast has everything you may need, as well as the lunch/dinner options. Moreover, what makes the place special - it has a private museum that you can access for free. |The staff is very gentle and helpful.|We loved the experience there, highly recommended.

This hotel has absolutely everything needed! It is hard to explore Peru, when you dream to stay in the hotel all day! -restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Amazing service! -indoor bar for a late drink. -outdoor bar for a drink arou d the pool. -inclined seats facing the sea or the pool -2 pools, one warmed and one normal temperature. -rooms with balconies facing the sea, very spacious and comfortable, air conditioning. -a little dock where tours are organised, to see a natural reserve with thousands of birds, sea lions and penguins in the wild. -the hotel has a small but impressive museum. -2 tenis courts -small equiped gym -an area for children to be looked after by the hotel (pong table, babyfoot table, toys for younger and cozy bin sacks to watch TV if wanted, sliding... all in a secured area without adults able to access without approval.) The perfect place for events from wedding to conferences, to family holiday.

Safe and fridge available. |Excellent daily housekeeping. |Breakfast sumptuous. Great choice of omelettes, eggs. Staff can't do enough for you. |Evening menu great and all reasonably priced. |Pool area spotless.|Visited the local islands on the hotel boat.|Had a private tour of the national reserve. |We used the hotel bicycles to get into Paracas. Of an evening used taxi service. |Would definitely recommend.

The grounds are attractive and well maintained; however, in my opinion this was not a five-star hotel experience. We were required to pay USD $10 per person to use the hot “jacuzzi” pool, which is located next to the main pool but only available at night and not as a private booking. We ultimately had to cancel as it was my partner’s birthday and our tour guide had organised an event we wanted to attend. Despite this, we were still charged, as we were told the pool had just been turned on. We had attempted to call beforehand to cancel, but the phone lines did not work - both ourselves and our tour guide were unable to through, reception staff said the lines “were open” - we had to get a tuktuk back just to tell them we wanted to cancel. The shower had significant pink mould on the tiles, I chose to shower wearing flip flops. While the rooms are ok, they do not meet a five-star standard. The reception staff were also less friendly than expected. Everywhere else we stayed in Peru, staff were exceptional and attentive, however this was not our experience here. Prior to arrival, I emailed to ask whether any complimentary birthday arrangements could be organised for my partner. I was advised this would be arranged upon providing his passport as proof, however nothing was organised or even acknowledged. In contrast, the hotel we stayed at the night before unexpectedly delivered a small cake to the room, the night before his birthday & without us requesting or mentioning it. That level of thoughtfulness truly reflects good hospitality. Access into Paracas was inconvenient. Tuk-tuks do not travel to the hotel, we were advised Uber had a 50-minute wait time, and reception eventually offered to organise a taxi after 15 minutes of being stuck. We avoided reception staff after the few off putting encounters with them. Other staff we encountered, including restaurant and pool staff, were however very friendly and welcoming. Overall, for a property listed as five-star and costing close to AUD $800 for two nights, the experience was very disappointing.

This is a fabulous spot to relax with comfortable rooms, a VG restaurant and a stylish pool area. Various activities are available (we would recommend trips to The Balleastes Islands to see wildlife and geology and a flight over The Nazca Lines). However, the hotel is in the middle of nowhere so either come by car or be prepared to use taxis.

It was impossible to enjoy the beach because of a very loud van used to water the lawn of our hotel. It lasted many hours and it's quite disappointing to see little respect for the guests but especially the protected habitat. Very unsustainable and annoying practice

Fantastic experience, great team, hard to believe that everyone was so attentive and caring. Views were spectacular and the restaurant on-site made everything super convenient.

A great beachfront hotel with nice rooms and great customer service. Rooms with balconies are very nice. A very nice pool, and a variety of water toys are available. Restaurant was excellent. Only stayed one night but would have definitely liked a longer stay.
