What Breakfast Looks Like in 26 Countries Around the World - AFAR
"Recommended for travelers who want a home-cooked Moroccan breakfast without leaving their hotel, this Marrakesh property offers a convenient way to sample traditional morning fare from the comfort of your room." - Maggie Fuller
"Opened in 1946 as a restaurant (where the famous regulars included Churchill and Hemingway), La Maison Arabe later expanded to a small hotel, then grew again under its current French-Italian owner. Today, it features 26 garden- or patio-view rooms and suites, individually designed in either a traditional or slightly more modern Moroccan style. All have air-conditioning and heating (a must for the varied desert temperatures) as well as Wi-Fi, satellite TVs, and marble-and-granite bathrooms stocked with aromatic toiletries. Also available to guests is an idyllic swimming pool, around which the hotel serves a home-cooked breakfast each morning, and the clubby, 1930s-inspired Piano Bar, where guests can enjoy live jazz and pre-dinner drinks by the fireplace. When it’s time to unwind, head to the cozy spa for an array of face, body, and hamman treatments, all performed with products made exclusively for the hotel. Much like in the past, La Maison Arabe revolves around food. Guests can choose between Le Restaurant, where a gorgeous fountain and hand-painted ceiling set the stage for authentic Moroccan fare, and the intimate, lantern-lit Les Trois Saveurs, which serves a sophisticated menu of French, Moroccan, and Asian dishes. Additionally, the hotel offers some of the city’s best cooking classes, which are open to outside guests. Led by a dada (a traditional Moroccan cook), the lessons take place either at the main hotel or the Country Club—a satellite property located 15 minutes away by complimentary shuttle, wherestudentscan alsofind a larger pool, lush gardens, a restaurant, and a bit of calm away from the bustle of the medina."

La Maison Arabe | Best places to stay in Marrakech
"Established in 1946, this legendary hotel is one of the Medina’s finest and most comfortable, with intricate carved doors, lattice windows, cedar ceilings, and plush furnishing.
Oriental paintings and candelabras hang on walls and Moroccan lanterns illuminate each room. Pretty courtyards with fountains and potted palms, two big and beautiful swimming pools and a spa with hammam complete the picture.
The location in bustling Bab Doukkala, a short stroll to Jemaa El Fna, is excellent, making this an ideal choice for a first Marrakech stay.

6 Star Service! We had a very good stay at La Maison Arabe. Our room was not large but comfortable (by the time we booked, the larger rooms were all taken). Bed was comfortable and room had everything you need (Aircon, free water, safe, enough hangers etc) Most important of all, the service was great, definitely 6 star standards.. from reception, to restaurant to housekeeping. We had a slight drainage issue at the shower but it was fixed right away. Turn down service every night with change of soiled towels. Special mention to Reda, Salima and Manal - so cheerful and helpful all the time).
Al fresco restaurant by the pool serves very good Moroccan dishes (Tajins, cous cous), very calm relaxing ambience with live music, especially needed after a manic day in the Zouk. Breakfast comes with eggs cooked to order, local bread freshly made by Leila.. so good. Tea and snacks from 3-6pm on the house. They even have another pool and garden area shuttle service away. We didn’t use it but nice to have. La Maison Arabe has a cooking school which we went to.. very fun and informative. All in excellent .
Location is good. 15 min walk from the Jemaa el-Fnaa Square.

An awesome hotel! We had a lovely room with a roof terrace. It was very clean and comfortable. All the staff, without exception, were very friendly and helpful. The complimentary country club - pool , gardens and refreshments was a dream break from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech.

We loved this riad for a 4 night stay. Great traditional ambiance. All staff were helpful. Breakfast and dinner were top notch by the pool. Location was perfect for the medina walking less than ten minutes to the first gate. There were a few local restaurants near the riad. Room was super clean and comfortable. Its quiet except for the call to prayers which is OK.

As soon as we entered the tranquil surroundings of Maison Arabe we were blown away. Three ladies travelling together, sharing an amazing suite, where every one of our needs was met, and some surpassed, ( thank you for the lovely daily treats and water).. The staff, are so friendly and go above and beyond to make sure the stay was perfect. We travelled daily to the Country club where we were welcomed each day with a drink and fresh towel and could relax far away from the hubub of the Medina.... But when we returned we were always met with a cheerful smile and laughter. ||The terrace in our suite was sublime, and a beautiful place to relax was the Spa on the ground floor. We all had a Hammam and thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the professionalism of the therapists. And the prices compared to British spas were very reasonable. ||But what made our trip was the service... the food, the breakfasts, the gorgeous evening meals in the restaurant served by cheerful team members. ||We came out of our suite one morning, and heard the team really laughing....( sharing a joke) like they were really enjoying their job and working together and it was so lovely to hear.||Many thanks to Raja for making our stay seamless in terms of booking and for the front of house managers who were exemplary.||WE'll be back.

I absolutely loved my stay at La Maison Arabe! The hotel feels so authentic and charming, with that cozy boutique vibe that makes you feel at home right away. The attention and service were truly excellent, warm, professional, and always with a smile.||The food was delicious. I’ve recommended La Maison Arabe to clients before, but getting to experience it myself made me appreciate even more what a special place it is.||The location is also perfect, central and convenient. The rooms are beautiful, full of Moroccan character, and the whole property has such a unique atmosphere.||Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

A gorgeous Riad that is very conveniently located. The level of hospitality that we experienced at La Maison Arabe was phenomenal. The place is absolutely beautifully decorated, and it is very clean. The food was exceptional. But the staff? They were all next level. We were treated like family by everyone! They continually went out of their way to assist us with making arrangements for the next leg of our tour through Morocco. This place is VERY special because the people who work here are VERY special. My husband and I have never experienced this level of warmth and kindness anywhere else. We will return!!
