"With its panoramic view of the sea and the port, this local institution on the Cotentin peninsula faces the Channel Islands of Jersey and Guernsey. In a pleasant contemporary interior, you will sample modern, elegant cuisine that shines the limelight on Normandy produce, with a weakness for local seafood, illustrated by pollock, fennel (confit and roasted) and a lemon-flavoured butter emulsion." - Michelin Inspector

Fantastic food (similar to 1 star Michelin) for much less you would pay in UK. NB Restaurant not open every night. Some rooms expensive but we went for a village view room which was fine. Dog friendly but not cheap for dogs at 25eu per night). Will definitely go back.

Fabulous location. Extremely welcoming and helpful staff.
Beautiful room, but our village view room had no air conditioning, which was unfortunate in quite hot July weather. Nice bathroom with good toiletry products. Very comfortable bed with good quality linen. Upmarket tea and coffee but coffee machine very difficult to work: quite a mystery!

We had an amazing stay celebrating our wedding anniversary, we had a stunning room overlooking the sea with a balcony. The room was spacious, clean and well presented. All staff very very friendly and helpful, making our visit a delight. We had a most delicious evening meal the sommelier was so knowledgeable and selected an excellent reasonably priced wine. The terrace by the bar overlooking the bay was a lovely place to enjoy the early evening/afternoon, the barman was extremely helpful offering a great service. Thank you to all the staff and management.

We stayed two nights in August on our way home from brittany in a room with a village view. The room was clean and well appointed. On our first night we were kept awake with the toilet filling, we reported it to reception and it was sorted immediately. The girls at reception were great and very helpful. The only disappointment was we couldn't get a drink at the bar as the guy told us they were too busy on the Sunday night. We hope to stay again sometime.

Fantastic last night of our holiday, rooms are very luxurious and comfortable, although some have small balconies so check that if you want more outside space. Food is excellent although restaurant is not open every night. We would prefer a choice, rather than a tasting menu, but it was very good. Parking not always easy, but there are free spaces in nearby streets.

Luxury hotel in all respects, large bedrooms fantastic view. Perfect for a final night of our holiday before the ferry home from Cherbourg. Restaurant not open every night, well worth timing a visit to eat in the hotel. All the extras in the room, bathrobe, slippers, quality toiletries.

My gosh, this place is glorious! A cracking spot with beautiful views, lovely rooms, delightful staff and delicious cocktails, local gin and local beer as well as a tip top restaurant. Cannot recommend highly enough for a real chill-out in super surroundings.
