La Sivolière Courchevel (Courchevel, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Of Courchevel's six villages, the highest, Courchevel 1850, is also the most exclusive. And of the village’s luxurious ski-in, ski-out lodges, La Sivolière is one of the most highly regarded. The hotel’s comparatively secluded piste-side location, tucked into the forest just outside the center of town, is just one of its assets. The elegant chalet exemplifies traditional Savoyard style; it’s built of stone and timber inside and out, with slanted ceilings, large bay windows, and open fireplaces." - Tablet Hotels

Hotel La Sivoliere | Best luxury ski hotels in Europe

"In a resort filled with five-star accommodation, this chalet-style boutique hotel stands out for its intimate atmosphere and cosy alpine charm. The serene forest setting is 10-minute walk from the 1850 village centre, with direct access to the piste. This is the ultimate hotel for dog lovers – canine companions are treated to half-board, and can be cared for by the hotel’s team of dog-sitters while their owners hit the slopes. Après-ski cakes and crepes are served in the fire-warmed bar/lounge, while elegant suppers are served in Le 1850 restaurant, with dramatic lighting made from tree branches. " - Nicola Iseard

Our stay at La Sivolière was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations and made my friend’s birthday celebration truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, every detail was handled with such care and professionalism. The service was effortless, fast and incredibly thoughtful — nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and everything was arranged seamlessly. A very special thank you to Eloïse, Lisa and Samantha — they were absolutely amazing. Their kindness, attention to detail and genuine warmth made such a difference to our stay. They helped organise everything for the birthday and went above and beyond to make sure my friend felt celebrated and special. We honestly could not have asked for better support. The room was beautiful, the atmosphere was calm and luxurious, and the ski-in/ski-out location made everything so easy. The restaurant was excellent — wonderful food, great service, and very accommodating with our preferences. Every meal felt like part of the experience. What truly stood out was how smooth and stress-free everything felt. Every request was handled quickly, with a smile, and with such elegance. It was the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion

I had a truly wonderful stay at La Sivolière, and I would like to especially highlight the exceptional level of care and professionalism from the entire team. Unfortunately, due to a mistake, the driver initially took us to the wrong train station. However, the way the hotel handled the situation was outstanding. They immediately took full responsibility, arranged a new driver, covered the cost of new train tickets, and coordinated everything seamlessly with our hotel in Paris to ensure a smooth reception upon arrival. To top it all off, we were welcomed by a thoughtful handwritten apology note in the room, personally written by Julia, Romain, and Lisa, which truly touched us and showed how much they genuinely care about their guests. The room was immaculately clean and very well maintained, with great attention to detail. Breakfast was another highlight — delicious, high quality, and beautifully presented. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. Every single member of the team was incredibly attentive, supportive, and genuinely willing to help with anything we needed. They assisted us with all our arrangements and even managed to find us a ski instructor during peak season, which is truly impressive. This level of service, attention to detail, and kindness is rare. It was my first stay at La Sivolière, but definitely not my last. Highly recommended.

Hotel La Sivolière in Courchevel 1850 is a place where you can feel genuine quality and true care for guests from the very first moment. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, it’s easy to feel relaxed and truly unwind here. The food is of a very high standard. Breakfasts are generous and beautifully prepared, high quality products, many juices, even collagen and ginger shots that we loved. Dnners are refined and carefully crafted, showing how much attention the kitchen pays to flavor and ingredient quality. The rooms are good size, modern, tastefully designed, and extremely comfortable. Everything is functional, with a warm Alpine character. After a full day on the slopes, the rooms offer the perfect space to rest and have a great sleep. A major highlight of the hotel is the ski room, which truly stands out. It is well organized, spacious, and equipped with top-quality equipment. Skis and boots and skis in the morning are nicely prepared and stored in ideal conditions, and the staff are knowledgeable, professional, and always happy to help. Thanks to this, mornings before heading out to ski are smooth and stress-free, with everything running efficiently. La Sivoliere is a pet friendly place with lovely dog's amenities :-)

I stayed for 6 nights with my husband in Hotel La Sivolière in Courchevel 1850. It was our third visit and for sure not the last one! I must say it is a place where you can fee like at home, from the very first moment. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, never pretentious. One of the highlights is the location - close to the famous La Ferm Saint Amour , walking distance 5 minutes. The food in hotel La Sivoliere is of a very high standard. Breakfasts are delicious, lots of "salty" choice like salads, veggies etc everything is beautifully prepared.| The rooms are well designed, comfortable and good size. The interiors blend contemporary style with a warm Alpine character. |Myself and my husband are keen skiers, so skiing is very important to us. One of the important factors, why we stayed again in La Sivoliere is the ski room. It is comfortable, spacious, and equipped with top-quality equipment like helmets, skis, clothes. Skis and boots are perfectly prepared on the slope in the morning. |Hotel La Sivoliere operates for guests shuttle transfers, which operate flawlessly.

This is an excellent, wonderful hotel. Conveniently located right on the ski slope, with the Plantrey lift just a 300-meter descent downhill. The Croisette area is a 3-minute shuttle ride away (though a bit far to walk). The shuttle service is perfectly organized, and the concierge staff are true professionals. ||The hotel is small, with just over 30 rooms. The decor is fresh, and the rooms are spacious and clean. There are no complaints about housekeeping (a rarity!). The bathroom fixtures (sinks, taps) are new and of high quality, complemented by premium toiletries. Breakfast is good—the selection, while not extensive, covers all essentials. The spa and fitness center are compact, featuring a pool with outdoor access, a sauna, and a hammam. The masseurs are top-class professionals. ||I’d like to especially highlight the staff’s friendliness. Everyone is polite, attentive, and responsive to any request. ||I totally recommend this hotel—you will not be disappointed.

We had an absolutely fabulous time in this hotel. The reason I loved it is because it's a little bit further away from the main area of downtown Courchevel 1850. It's a ski and ski out facility that is much quieter than some of the other well-known hotels in the area. But do not worry, there is a shuttle system that will take you anywhere you want to go at any time !;So you are not cut off from the main hopping part of town, but it's quieter. The proprietor, a lovely lady, was present and was always keeping a watchful eye on the service, so everything ran quite smoothly. All the details of the decor were very well thought of, but if there is something I had an issue with, it was the service 🤔 personnel. 5 stars implies that the waiters remember your preference and waters, sparkling or still, coffee ☕️ black or tea 🍵! housekeeping remembers that you preferred have a sheet instead of thick covers... 😉 little details that in a hotel of only thirty-five rooms are quite easy to retain, but that did not happen. But understanding that turnover of personnel, we are already thinking about booking for next year!

Absolutely impeccable stay! Ski room service each day added to our relaxation - we had our skis on the slope when we arrived in the morning, so we were ready for a full day skiing then a return to the property for relaxation in the spa or a delicious snack.

Yelp
I really don't know where to start..... I have been traveling in March to the most beautiful ski place (Courchevel 1850 in France) we rented a 3 bedrooms beautiful apartment. its a 5 star hotel but have large units. The Hotel itself is amazing, buffet is great, staff are extremely accommodating. Ski in and out are the best. The Manager/Owner Florence Carcassonne was amazing in hospitality. She is a sweetheart. The best Boutique Hotel....... We will recommend this place to anyone who ask us. Thank you all

Yelp
Exquisite. Other-worldly. Beautiful scenery. Blow your mind cuisine and hospitality. Fun and relaxing all at once. I would highly recommend any solo or family to visit la Sivoliere. Tres bien!

Yelp
Arrogance all the way! My worst experience of a so-called 5 stars boutique hotel ever. The restaurant is good and staff nice over there. But then comes the hotel staff and management which would accept Expedia reservations but consider these clients as second tier, all the way. I've only regrets about that reservation, especially in that kind of price range where you would expect decent service and client's satisfaction. Stay out of the place is my recommendation!!
