A Hidden Gem in Capri – Perfect for Solo Travelers & Families Alike! 🌿✨||Hotel La Tosca was an absolute delight and the perfect stay during my time in Capri. It’s run with such care by a lovely husband and wife team, and the heart of the experience is Ettore—who is, quite simply, amazing. His responsiveness blew me away. From the moment I reached out, Ettore replied immediately, with helpful answers, clear directions, and warm hospitality that made me feel truly welcomed.||The hotel itself has breathtaking views and is beautifully maintained. It’s more budget-friendly than many places in Capri, which means rooms—especially singles and doubles—are smaller, but they are immaculate. Exceptionally clean, safe, and thoughtfully appointed with simple amenities like a hairdryer and quality linens.||The breakfast is charming: fresh fruit, yogurt (including vegan options if you ask!), warm croissants, bread baskets, and unlimited cappuccinos, americanos, and espressos that are served from 8 to 10 AM daily. A perfect way to start your morning with a view.||Travel Tips:||Ask Ettore for a room with a terrace or outdoor space—he’ll do his best to accommodate.||He also offers apartment-style rooms that are ideal for families.||Getting to the hotel involves a bit of a walk, but Ettore clearly explains how to have your luggage delivered for a small fee—which I highly recommend.||This hotel is a gem for solo travelers, families, and anyone seeking a warm, hospitable, and clean stay in Capri that doesn’t break the bank. Ettore goes above and beyond to ensure your experience is seamless and special. I would absolutely stay here again—and highly, highly recommend you do too.

Really it was a wonderful week in this cosy, clean, and amazing hotel, it’s only 3mnt walking from the piazza the Center of Capri, |They offer you a tasty light breakfast served with smiles and love in a beautiful terrace facing to very very nice view, we were really so happy to be in this hotel.|The Manager Ettore and his a beautiful wife Mrs Michele were very professional and helpful to book all the places, beaches. Restaurant and excursions. also we would like to thank from the bottom of our heart all the staff they were very kind and helpful.|I really recommend this amazing hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel la Tosca! Great peaceful location near the center with good views! Ettore was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our entire stay. He helped us with food recommendations and arrangements. The rest of the staff were also accommodating and kind. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace. It consisted of yogurt, cereal, and breads with different spreads. I also enjoyed the tea selection! Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a close stay near Capri attractions without the overwhelming crowds!

Had a great stay and hotel was very nice, quiet, comfortable beds and great location. We chose the hotel based on great reviews of the owner, Ettore and he provided fabulous service. He gave us a great introduction to Capri covering all the sites and how to get there. It was amazing how much we saw in one day and especially enjoyed the hikes he recommended. The staff was super helpful as well. I would highly recommend La Tosca and we will definitely stay here when we return.

The best place we stayed in Capri. So welcoming. The rooms are perfect and have a huge porch with the best view in Capri. I wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back.

We called La Tosca from our transfer in Frankfurt, having decided the same morning on a spur to travel to Capri. Our lovley host, Ettore (who’s english is perfect, by the way), was most serviceminded and immediately booked us in his last available room for the following nights and also offered us a private room for the night of our arrival, as there were no other availabilities. Via Whatsapp, he thereafter sent us all the info we needed for getting to Capri from Napoli airport and even spoke to our taxidriver to make sure we got in time for the best ferry. We are beyond grateful for your service, Ettore, which continued throughout our entire stay and not just by Ettore but by his entire staff. Ask for anything; restaurants, transportation, recommendations etc., Ettore, Francesco and the rest of the staff will be delighted to help you with anything and offer you a cool limoncello on the hot Capri evenings on the terrace. The hotel, a relatively small family run albergo , is perfectly situated on the quieter south side of the island, but just a short walk from the busy little streets of central Capri. The lobby is cool and welcoming and the entire place smells lovely. The rooms are super clean, cool and quiet, and definitley great value for money. Breakfast is served on a terrace with beautiful views of the ocean and faragliani rocks and every morning we were served by a sweet and attentive waitress. We honestly don’t have anything to complain about, and there are no negative comments to share at all. If we were to ask for anything else, it would perhaps be freshly baked bread for breakfast (I think we were served bake-off), freshly squeezed juice a wider selection of fresh fruit from the island. But that’s not to say the breakfasts aren’t amazing as they are and we really could not have wished for more than the absolutely perfect stay we had with Ettore & Co at La Tosca. If we ever come back to Capri, this is where we will be staying. Thank you for your amazing service and for making us feel so at home on your beautiful island!

Located in so quiet area but very close to the center of Capri and to the buss station if you want to go to Anacapri. Easy to reach from the port (take the funicular and then about 10 min.walk). With a graet view from the terrace where the breakfast is served. Good breakfast. Very kind and friendly host. The room have all you need, it is really clean and the beds are very comfortable.

Ettore is a spectacular host and the rooms are lovely and well put together. The ac is excellent and, honestly, i just want to live here.

La Tosca is an absolute gem and Ettore is the most gracious host I have ever stayed with. Being born and raised on the island, he will not only tell you where to go and what to do but who to ask for! Each morning, Ettore and team will have your breakfast ready for you on the veranda and ask what you'd like to do that day. Upon your return, they'll then set you up with drinks for a night cap to finish the day, as you look over the island, and the water. My wife and I even got our dates wrong and the team at La Tosca accommodated us, as well as reached out to our next hotel for us to get the dates situated correctly. I highly recommend Capri for your trip Italy itinerary and stay at La Tosca, you will not regret it.

Fab budget hotel in Capri. It is not easy to find reasonable rates on this island. La Tosca has that and very friendly staff who cannot wait to help you. We spend a relaxing couple of days here and were very glad we came.
