"A charming, one-building, family-run boutique hotel on Capri that’s marketed as simple and affordable but delivers far more than its price suggests. The building has been in the Castelli family since around 1900, was operated as a hotel by another family from 1950, and was taken over by owner Ettore Castelli in 1996; it retains the feel of a converted island home with vaulted ceilings, arches, whitewashed walls and tiled floors. Rooms are immaculate and comfortable with understated, floral-accented décor; some have balconies and distant water or Faraglioni views while others face a tranquil courtyard. The property has only 11 rooms (one single and 10 doubles that can convert to triple/quad), is rated four stars, and prices vary by room type and season (singles roughly €70–160/night, doubles €95–280/night, extra beds €60–120/person). Breakfast is included and served daily in-room or on the main terrace overlooking the Faraglioni, featuring fresh pastries, yogurt, specialty coffees and a recommended espresso. Practical amenities include Wi‑Fi, towels to take to the beach, commission-free currency exchange and on-site sales of soft drinks, wine, beer and limoncello, while concierge services (led by Castelli’s encyclopedic local knowledge) help arrange reservations, beach-club access, car transfers, babysitting, private cooking lessons, boat tours, guides and more. Located a short walk from the Piazzetta and within easy reach of Augustus Gardens, Via Krupp and Via Camerelle, the hotel is especially well suited to first-time visitors, solo travelers, couples and families during Capri’s busy May–September high season (with April and October also fairly busy)."
