Le Vallon de Valrugues Hotel Spa & Villas

We stayed here for my 60 th Birthday with our Dog and Cat . It was excellent. The staff were all amazing too many to mention but Emma the Concierge who recommended some fantastic restaurants tailored to our needs and Gabriel as well for the friendly welcome and shuttle bus service. We had a lovely bedroom with a nice sitting area . The Spa was very nice it’s a shame we couldn’t use it before Breakfast thought .We really loved our stay and already planning to return . The rooms were also very soundproof which we liked . Thanks again to all the staff from the reception to the cleaning staff you are all so lovely.

We booked Le Vallon via our bike tour company. It was a prefect location to explore Saint Remy. It was easy to get to restaurants with their car service. And even the late night return was easy due to the impeccably well timed Driver. Every encounter requiring service or attention was handled extremely well by the staff. Everything we wanted was quickly handled and addressed. We just spent two nights at the hotel during the first week of November so it was uncrowded and we left wanting for nothing. Love this place.

We had a lovely stay here at the end of August. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The rooms were great with super comfy beds and quality bedding. The pool was big and the garden setting was pretty with nice comfortable loungers and towels. The food was great and there was a good selection at breakfast. There was plenty of parking and it was an easy walk into St Remy. I hope that we can return to this lovely hotel.

We stayed at Le Vallon De Valrugues while in Provence and it was an amazing place. Just beautiful. It's proximity to St. Remy was nice as well and we spent a lot of time in town - Le Vallon provided a shuttle to town on demand as well. We particularly enjoyed the steam room at the spa, as well as the indoor pool and hot tub. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again next time in Provence.

I echo everything already written here. This is a great place to park yourself if you are planning a trip to St Remy. My wife and I checked in for a seven day stay, using St Remy as a jumping off point for touring the villages and hamlets of Provence. ||We were placed in a separate building across the road from the property and had some trepidation as we drove there because we thought we would be staying in the main building. Once we got to the room (506), our fears were alleviated, even ecstatic, because it was huge and modern with a great big balcony overlooking the pool and luscious grounds. The bathroom was also very large and had a double sink, add to the mix a phenomenal amount of storage space consisting of drawers and hangars.||The grounds are exactly as you see in the photos - exquisite. The patio is a perfect place to sit down with a drink from the bar, which by the way, were reasonable.||The only disappointment that we encountered, if you can even call it that, was breakfast. The restaurant only offers a full buffet at (I think) €25 per person, and did not offer any kind of lite continental breakfast, which is all that what we really wanted. This was solved by a drive into town and visiting the local Paul patisserie.||The drive into town was quick, in under 5 minutes. Getting back to the property took a bit longer (10-12 minutes) because one way streets prevented us from getting back from town the same way that we got into town and you have to take a very long way around. The parking at our building was tight - very, very tight.||After a long day of touring around, we decided to visit the spa. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not very hot and we got out right away. It may have been turned off for the night as we arrived around 9:00pm. ||St Remy has a tremendous number of outstanding restaurants. It's also a great place to walk around with old cobblestone streets and passage ways. We used the free hotel van service to get into town for dinner because parking at night could be kind of iffy.||All of the staff treated us like royalty and spoke perfect English. A special shout-out goes to the concierge, Julien, who was outstanding. He recommended the best restaurants based on what we wanted in terms of cuisine and price. The man is a pro.||I would highly recommend Le Vallon De Valrugues to anyone who is looking for a comfortable,

We stayed at Le Vallon de Valrugues Hotel Spa & Villas, which is officially a 5-star hotel, but honestly, it feels more like a 3-star experience. The service was generally good, but nothing exceptional — simply what you’d expect from a hotel in this category. The facilities were decent, although the hotel feels a bit outdated. The carpets and lamps look like they’re from another era, and the AC unit in our room hadn’t been cleaned in what seemed like years. Some details felt neglected, which was disappointing for a 5-star property. The real issue came after we checked out. The hotel correctly charged us for the full amount at checkout. However, two days later, we noticed the same amount had been charged again. When we contacted the hotel, they dismissed it as a bank error and showed no willingness to investigate. Naturally, I checked with my bank, and they confirmed the problem was on the hotel’s side. It took several days to get the duplicate charge refunded, and throughout that time, the hotel’s communication was nonexistent. They showed no interest in resolving the issue or even following up. For a hotel that claims to be five stars, this level of service and attention to detail — both during and after the stay — was far from what we expected.

The hotel was beautiful and in a lovely area. For families it was great, especially with young children. The playroom and play area are perfect. Sadly the staff really let this hotel down. Poor service, rude, lack of care or attention. I did give feedback on my last day to management who said they were aware standards had slipped. Sadly this did not make an impact to the end of my stay where staff continued to be incompetent

The concierge Julian was so so good, really knew his stuff and gave us the best recommendations whether it was for an itinerary or restaurants. The valets, the receptionist were all very friendly and polite. The place is beautiful. The rooms could do with a kettle and some tea bags and milk sachets.

Dirty - they fold back dirty towels and place them on the racks Room phone did not work during whole stay although i reported it 2 times. Unsecured wifi caused lots of spam text and emails I had a change my drink 3 times, they did not know how to make a simple martini. And more hick ups. Not worth the price.

Le Vallon is a luxury resort in St Remy (Provence, France). We stayed recently with mixed results. On the positive side, our villa was clean, spacious, and beautiful. It was perfect to lounge around the pool and soak up the southern France sun. It was expensive, but not out of step with competitors. Shuttle service connected the villa with the "main campus" resort and provided easy access to St. Remy, itself a charming town and perfect for a stay in the south. Room service was limited but still provided options for in-villa dining. Breakfasts were easily the best. The downside, however, is that, even with the shuttle, the villa is disconnected from the resort and too far to walk to town. We should have simply rented a great house in St. Remy. Disappointment over the isolation was eased because, frankly, there was hardly anything drawing us to the resort. The restaurants are average at best, the gym is an abject embarrassment, and. . . that's it. There is really nothing else at the resort. Furnishings are tired and in desperate need of a full facelift. The concierge was extremely unimpressive - not particularly responsive and a real challenge to work with. My advice is simply to rent a house in St. Remy.
