Hôtel le Vallon de Valrugues & Spa

One of the best hotels I've ever been. The rooms are wide and very well equiped. The restaurant is very good, and breakfast is just outstanding, rich and fresh. But above all is the service - simply the best. The consierge was most helpfull, and the receptionists also made their best to help. We will DEFINATELY come again to this lovely provence hotel!

This hotel has that classy je ne se pas that makes you feel très chic. The staff is terrific, the property is gorgeous, and the town is as picturesque as it gets

Lovely room and relaxing vibe. Gorgeous grounds and perfect location. Very pretty town and surrounding area.

The welcome service was fantastic. The rooms were modest in size but well equipped, including capsule espresso machine, and the balconies were secluded and sunny for most of the day. It's a great town and should be considered a prime relaxing destination in Provence. It's worth to try.

The positives are that the location is great. I enjoyed meditating at 5am each morning in the piano room on the ground floor. We found it useful for getting into the town centre as it was very hot during our stay. The staff was kind and helpful. The service was sultry and the head waiter miserable.

Situato nel verde rigoglioso, ha una piacevole piscina, parcheggio senza problemi e ottimo wifi. Il personale è attento ed efficiente in ogni settore. Buona prima colazione sul piacevole terrazzo. Non lusso ma piacevole accoglienza. Gli arredi sono un po' datati ma ben tenuti. Qualche piccolo problema tecnico (chiavi, telefono...) è stato subito risolto. Eccessivo il costo del ristorante e della cantina.

Dirty - they fold back dirty towels and place them on the racks Room phone did not work during whole stay although i reported it 2 times. Unsecured wifi caused lots of spam text and emails I had a change my drink 3 times, they did not know how to make a simple martini. And more hick ups. Not worth the price.

Le Vallon is a luxury resort in St Remy (Provence, France). We stayed recently with mixed results. On the positive side, our villa was clean, spacious, and beautiful. It was perfect to lounge around the pool and soak up the southern France sun. It was expensive, but not out of step with competitors. Shuttle service connected the villa with the "main campus" resort and provided easy access to St. Remy, itself a charming town and perfect for a stay in the south. Room service was limited but still provided options for in-villa dining. Breakfasts were easily the best. The downside, however, is that, even with the shuttle, the villa is disconnected from the resort and too far to walk to town. We should have simply rented a great house in St. Remy. Disappointment over the isolation was eased because, frankly, there was hardly anything drawing us to the resort. The restaurants are average at best, the gym is an abject embarrassment, and. . . that's it. There is really nothing else at the resort. Furnishings are tired and in desperate need of a full facelift. The concierge was extremely unimpressive - not particularly responsive and a real challenge to work with. My advice is simply to rent a house in St. Remy.
