Hotel Lisboa Plaza - Avenida, a Lisbon Heritage Collection

Our stay at Hotel Lisboa Plaza was wonderful from start to finish. The room and bed were very comfortable, providing the perfect rest after long days exploring the city. The complimentary still and sparkling water was such a thoughtful touch—especially refreshing after walking around in the summer heat.||Every member of the staff was kind and helpful. One of the highlights was being able to enjoy a delicious breakfast with our dog, Lola. Most hotels don’t allow that, and we usually have to take turns eating alone—so this felt especially accommodating and appreciated.||After a long day, we were able to order room service, which was also delicious and exactly what we needed. When we requested a late checkout, it was granted without hesitation, making our departure stress-free.||We also loved the beautiful terrace on the 5th floor—a peaceful space with complimentary tea and water, surrounded by cozy, stylish seating. It was a lovely place to unwind.||The location was perfect: close to everything, yet quiet enough for a restful night’s sleep. We truly felt well cared for here and would absolutely stay again.

This is a charming, well located and professionally run hotel. Stayed here for 3 nights in May 24, 3 adults sharing a room. The room was a pretty decent size, the beds were very comfortable and there was an air conditioning unit in the room, which you could leave on all day (if you wanted to) as it was not connected to the key card. The room felt a comfortable temp all the time. The room has a safety deposit box, hairdryer and a fridge for use, we asked for a iron and ironing board and they were delivered within minutes to our room. Plenty of storage space for all your stuff, the bathroom is quite large with lots of fluffy towels and shower gel/ shampoo also provided. The room was very quiet, we never heard any noise from outside or inside the hotel and we all slept very well every night. We stayed on a B&B basis and breakfast was lovely, set in an elegant dining room, with the usual choices available, fresh juice, sausage, bacon, eggs etc, fruit , yoghurt, cold meats, breads and toast, coffee and teas etc.|The hotel is very well located (about 30 mins from airport - taxi about 20 euros) in the upmarket part of the city, near the designer shops and within about a 15 min walk to the old town and all the main attractions. The Rossio train station is about 10 in walk away, we used this station to get to Sintra which is about a 30 min train ride away and it is easy to buy tickets. We used the Cais do Sodre train station to get to Cascais, this is again a 30 min train ride away, and is a really gorgeous place an absolute must visit whilst you are in the area. |Lisbon is a great city with lots to see and do (Belem is a great area to go to) and is great value too. Plenty of fab cafes and restaurants (especially Lumi) and great shopping too. We had a brillian time and this hotel met all of our needs, it is well located, quiet and the staff are helpful and professional, highly recommend staying here when visiting Lisbon.

The hotel has a great location, and the staff are friendly and polite. The mattress and towels are good, and the hotel bar has fair prices, which makes things very convenient for guests. The hotel also has a lounge area that offers a variety of coffees, teas, and flavored waters 24 hours a day. They provide a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and keep the minibar stocked with water at no extra cost. Although the gym is small, it helps you keep up with your fitness routine. The common area on the rooftop is also very comfortable. The only thing I would improve at the hotel is the breakfast. It’s okay, but if you stay for four or five days, there’s nothing surprising — it’s always the same. There’s also no option to order things like fried eggs or an omelet, which would be very reasonable given the hotel’s style.

The hotel is lovely and really well maintained....on arrival we was greeted by a hotel porter who took are bags from the car and bought them to reception.||The reception staff were very welcoming and explained how breakfast was served in the morning and gave us information how to get around Lisbon if needed and to ask if we needed and recommendations where to eat to just ask.||The rooms are big enough for a 3 night stay and the bathroom has all shower and shampoo provided for the whole stay with good fluffy towels.||You also have dressing gowns included with slippers inside the wardrobe.||The rooms don't have tea or coffee making facilities but you can go down stairs and there is free tea and coffee to make for yourself and take back up.||There is also a fridge in the room and it has about 6 bottles of water, these are included in the room so drink them....if you want them replaced you are then charged for the restock. ||Breakfast has a mixture of choices so you wont go hungry with a few gluten free items on the side.||The hotel is well positioned to explore Lisbon, we found must things we did was about 20-30 min away so its location was perfect for us.||Would I stay her again? Yes I would no question....good location and well maintained hotel.

I booked, after much research, 2 rooms for 4 nights at this hotel as I was treating my daughters and daughter in law to a short break away. The booking was made through an agency, Stayforlong, for which I have done a separate review for this awful company. |On arrival at the hotel the manager could not find my booking. I did not know at this stage if it was the hotel’s fault or the booking agency. However, the manager, Tiago, found a room for 2 of us and a room at their sister hotel for the night a few minutes walk away as the Plaza was fully booked. My two daughters came back to the Plaza for the remaining 3 nights. I found out the next day that it was the booking agency’s fault so I had to pay the hotel again for the stay. This was all very upsetting for me but the manager dealt with it very professionally, kindly and with sympathy and sorted rooms for us at a very good rate and included breakfast. Our holiday could have been ruined as we would have had to spend our time scrabbling around for a hotel room after our flight, so thank you Tiago. I cannot recommend highly enough the customer service provided by the hotel. Tiago went above and beyond good service for which I and my daughters are grateful. |As for the hotel itself, I would reiterate what others have said in reviews - the rooftop seating area is a fabulous spot to have a bit of chill time after pounding the streets. Lovely breakfast with something to suit all tastes. The rooms are a bit dated and our shower over the bath might not suit people with mobility problems but there was everything we needed - comfortable beds, fridge, air con. complimentary bottle of port, free tea, coffee and water downstairs and a very helpful doorman to help with luggage. They even provided us with a takeaway breakfast box as we had a very early flight.|I would highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel, excellent stay for 5 nights. Location is great close to metro, airport bus and other important landmarks. Breakfast fabulous. Staff extremely friendly. Highly recommended. Booked a petite room but was given a city view and a standard room. Arrived at the hotel early but was given a room. Very much appreciated. Would book again.

Had a great stay . The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the service was excellent throughout. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary room upgrade, which made my stay even more comfortable. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Breakfast was absolutely incredible—great variety, fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented. Would definitely recommend and stay again! Location is prime

Two stays, both completely excellent. Great location (toward the bottom end of Av. de Liberdade). Very friendly and helpful staff. Decent breakfast (typical buffet) but comfy & friendly lounge. First room = typical Europe size (tight) but second room was a corner with lots of space. Windows open to the fresh air. Quiet neighborhood. Loved it. Will be our "go-to" hotel in Lisbon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you to Paulo the on-site manager who made sure our room was satisfactory for our family of four and Emmanuel the bellhop who made sure everything was setup perfectly on arrival to our room including setting up the kids beds with the maid service. The hotel is a very fair price in one of the most lavish parts of town. The standard rooms are a bit tight, and the breakfast a little so so but the service really nice and you can order fresh eggs etc. Behind the hotel is Restaurante A Gina which will be one of your favorite Portuguese dining experiences (also very reasonably priced). You may not see the restaurant at first but you likely hear the social scene as you walk past the Teatro and then open up to the beautiful restaurant. We'd stay at the hotel on our next visit.

Located near upscale shops, green spaces and a metro station Hotel Lisboa Plaza is an incredible find for under 80 Euros a night. Family-operated with comfortable rooms and a lounge with Coffee or Tea 24/7 there is also an on-site bar, 24-hour fitness center and included breakfast Buffet. Strong wifi, good water pressure and a quiet cobblestone street add to the experience. Upgraded suites also include a free bottle of Sparkling Wine.

What a lovely hotel and it's located right in the middle of all there is to do in Lisbon! I did upgrade to a suite so I had a little more space that a regular room but all in all it was a great experience. The room had a sitting room and a bedroom in the back. The only window was in the bedroom and since the weather was perfect, I opened the window instead of using the air conditioning. Another added bonus? Mgt had a full decanter of port for me in the room so I was able to have a night cap and not even leave my room. This room was also on the same floor as the outdoor deck. Push open the door to the roof and you will find chaises with plush cushions, an honor bar as well as great views of the city. I had my morning coffee out here each day. There is also a guest lounge just to the right of the front desk where there is coffee, tea and water available throughout the day. But the shining star of this place was the restaurant where breakfast was served daily. The food was amazing and there were three different buffet stations, a coffee bar, warm and cold foods as well as an entire area of desserts including a chocolate fountain. I could have stayed in there all day enjoying my coffee with one of the tarts that are so popular here. Service was spot on, my room was super clean and did I mention its right off the subway stop so you can get anywhere you want to go in no time at all. If you are staying in Lisbon- you really should stay at the Hotel Lisboa Plaza!

Cute and fancy with a great location. The rooms are much older-- don't expect more than one electrical outlet. We had to unplug a lamp if we wanted to charge up all of our devices simultaneously.

Old building, old Europe style, tiny rooms. We asked twice for the air conditioner to be fixed as it was boiling in our room. No one ever came. Very clean, ok location, but it would be nice if the staff would be more responsive. Wouldn't recommend it for anyone under 60 as everyone staying there seemed to be of the more senior variety.
