Hotel Lisboa Plaza - Avenida, a Lisbon Heritage Collection

The staff at the front desk were amazing. Accommodating and welcoming. Extremely caring and kind. The breakfast was wonderful. Centrally located and easy to get public transport. There were nice amenities such as tea and coffee daily, filtered water, fruit during the day and port in the evening gratis. The rooms were nicely done. We definitely would stay at this wonderful hotel again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Located close to a Metro stop and within walking distance to all the different Lisbon districts. Luckily too that the location of the hotel is very quiet for a city centre. Room was large and comfortable with everything we needed. The hotel was immaculately clean. Hotel staff extremely polite and professional. Breakfast was very good with a selection to suit everyone. We loved the freshly cooked Pastel de Natas! Highly recommend this hotel.

Was going to be 3 stars, but I finally decided on a grading of 4. Brilliantly located hotel. It is in the process of being refurbished, slowly stage by stage. My room was okay (a bit tired) - and it primarily faced a wall. The bathroom certainly needs updating. However, there was a fridge and a safe in my room = good. Cleaning in my room was very good and the bed was comfortable. Good size room too.||My personal experience was mixed (I stayed for seven nights). However, when Management/Customer Relations staff were advised of my feedback they showed (on two occasions) that they really cared to get things right. They listened carefully to my feedback in person. This was genuinely impressive and really appreciated plus their kind gesture as later left in my room. There is scope for improvement (which they acknowledged) especially with the breakfast food (being just okay) and the standard of the rooms but, in the end, I was left with a good final impression. Goes a long way…||As a tip, if you have any problems, then just let Reception or Guest Relations (entrance hall) know and they will certainly try to sort things out in a constructive and friendly way. They appreciate feedback to improve anything. There is some hotel parking too!

So much good here and so much just ok.||Rooms are ok - breakfast is dire. Carrots - broccoli - dreadful bacon - food laid out for hours. Good coffee. Breakfast staff very welcoming.||Guest relations made no effort to interact with any guest at any time. Just sat behind a desk all day - not even an hello - welcome or getting up out of seat when you enter hotel. Not sure what the purpose of that role is. ||This could be a lovely hotel with a bit of thought - feels stagnant and stuck in a time warp of 1970.||Rooms ok. Staff very lovely. Prices in bar - very good. Bar food basic. No atmosphere in an evening.||Really mixed bag - good location.||Shame they don't make more of the rooftop bar - we were there for NYE - could have have an event up there and been lovely for residents.

Great character property with a modern touch and very tasteful furnishings specially in the bar, lounge and other areas. Absolutely loved the breakfast and the atmosphere. Bar also had a great atmosphere. Coffee, tea and favoured water served 24x7 in a spacious and comfortable area. Business Centre in the corner looked good. Above all, the manager and staff were outstanding, specially Generosa (hard to believe she was in training - she has a great future) made our stay specially warm. The hotel was also generous with complementary port which was available in the room and in the bar area. We can't wait to return!

I like to research before any holiday and had high hopes for this hotel. The reception is beautiful and immaculate with warm welcoming staff, the room was ready too despite being quite early in the day which was fabulous. The room was clean and comfortable, but with a faint odour of smoke, I found this odd as it’s very much a no smoking hotel aside from the roof terrace on the fifth floor, but as we were on the second there couldn’t be any connection? The water in the mini bar was replenished daily free of charge and the people who make up the rooms did a wonderful job, the breakfast was plentiful and varied and really good, especially nice coffee, served until 12 noon as-well which gave us the opportunity to have a leisurely start to the day. You could also help yourself to a free hot drink throughout the day, this was also nice. The location was good, but if you are elderly or infirm I would not recommend Lisbon as a destination as it’s incredibly hilly! It’s a beautiful city and I can’t fault the service in the hotel it was great.

Great service, decent location, clean room. A lot of old school charm from this traditional, non-chain hotel. Stayed three nights for work. Internet was strong, beds were soft and clean, breakfast was good. AC was strong. It was missing some of the high the touches like fancy finishes in the bathroom, and the price was outrageous (so were all the hotels in the city). I'd stay here again though it isn't a destination in and of itself.
