Hotel Lisboa Plaza - Avenida, a Lisbon Heritage Collection

There is really only one thing that makes a great hotel. An outstanding staff. Based on this criteria, this hotel is one of the greatest I have had the pleasure to enjoy. The front desk staff was consistently very helpful. The housekeeping staff was always pleasant. The barkeeper was prompt with his service. Our room was perfect. A king size bed was what we were hoping for and that is what we got. I loved the large bath towels. The location turned out to be perfect as well. After this wonderful experience, this is the only hotel I would consider for Lisbon.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The breakfast is very good, fresh tasty food with loads of variety the selection of cakes and pastries are amazing. The hotel is a Heritage property, rooms are spacious and clean. They also have a nice lounge for relaxing overall a great stay. A special callout to Joāo from the receptionist team who acted as my local guide and helped us discover places not known to tourist these were amazing.

You can also request tea and coffee making in the room!|Bar food and drinks were good and very reasonable. |I would highly recommend staying here and would like to thank all the staff for giving us such a wonderful stay!

We have stayed here before and was pleased with everything so we decided to stay again. The hotel is lovely, very clean and well maintained. Breakfast is delicious, plenty of choice and a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff are great and very hard working. Location is on a quiet side street off the main avenue and around a 20-30 minute walk to the riverfront.

This was our second stay at the Lisboa Plaza. The facility and rooms are very comfortable, but what sets this hotel apart is the service from the staff. We were made to feel like honored guests, and everyone went out of their way to make sure we felt welcomed in every respect. The hotel is within walking distance of the historic center, and there is a fantastic variety of activities and dining nearby. This hotel is at the top of our list of places to stay when we return to Lisbon.

I have absolutely nothing to say negative about this hotel. The moment we arrive , I felt at ease. Our room was ready when we arrived in the morning around 10am ( Check in is 3pm) the room with two twin beds, was incredibly CLEAN , from the wooden floor to the carpet and the bathroom floor. I wasn't afraid of walking barefoot. What I noticed is that they pay attention to DETAILS. Everything we needed was there ( without having to call reception asking for something) two bathrobes, two pair of slippers and the regular soap and body wash. They even had an adapter for our phones. Which was pleasantly surprising. The buffet is open from 7am to NOON ! Which is rare, usually breakfast stops around 10. And the variety is incredible, eggs , bacon , fruits , yogourt, cereal and cheeses , bread, veggies, soup , pastries. So you can have breakfast or lunch if you wanted too. The location of course is incredible, located less than 5mins away from Avenida metro and checkout is a noon ! Which I find rare since usually its way earlier. The staff is all very kind and the hotel itself has different rooms to just ́lounge & relax. AND they have a lovely terrace on the 5th floor !! Thank you so much ! I will be returning and recommending this hotel to everyone I know who is planning on visiting Lisbon. Merci !!

This was a special place to stay in Lisbon! My room was clean well appointed and spacious complete with a king sized bed. The front desk employees made me feel right at home and gave me great advice for restaurants, activities and assistance. Anna Carolina), Erica and Joao were gold star employees at reception. They could not have been friendlier for all 4 nights I stayed here. Because of them I will be a loyal customer. Breakfast offered wonderful selections and the complimentary afternoon wine served in the lovely lounges was wonderful after a day of sightseeing. I have travelled to over 75 countries and this was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Don’t think twice about staying here. Great location as well.

We recently stayed at the Hotel Lisboa Plaza and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful and full of charm, with many cozy lounge areas to relax in including a lovely rooftop lounge with great views. Breakfast each morning was plentiful and fresh, offering both hot and cold options to suit everyone. Our room was very spacious, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. We did notice some noise from outside and from other floors, but using a sound machine helped, and we slept very comfortably. The location was perfect for us very walkable to the city centre as well as the metro and train station. The staff were truly exceptional warm, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon!

Located near upscale shops, green spaces and a metro station Hotel Lisboa Plaza is an incredible find for under 80 Euros a night. Family-operated with comfortable rooms and a lounge with Coffee or Tea 24/7 there is also an on-site bar, 24-hour fitness center and included breakfast Buffet. Strong wifi, good water pressure and a quiet cobblestone street add to the experience. Upgraded suites also include a free bottle of Sparkling Wine.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you to Paulo the on-site manager who made sure our room was satisfactory for our family of four and Emmanuel the bellhop who made sure everything was setup perfectly on arrival to our room including setting up the kids beds with the maid service. The hotel is a very fair price in one of the most lavish parts of town. The standard rooms are a bit tight, and the breakfast a little so so but the service really nice and you can order fresh eggs etc. Behind the hotel is Restaurante A Gina which will be one of your favorite Portuguese dining experiences (also very reasonably priced). You may not see the restaurant at first but you likely hear the social scene as you walk past the Teatro and then open up to the beautiful restaurant. We'd stay at the hotel on our next visit.

What a lovely hotel and it's located right in the middle of all there is to do in Lisbon! I did upgrade to a suite so I had a little more space that a regular room but all in all it was a great experience. The room had a sitting room and a bedroom in the back. The only window was in the bedroom and since the weather was perfect, I opened the window instead of using the air conditioning. Another added bonus? Mgt had a full decanter of port for me in the room so I was able to have a night cap and not even leave my room. This room was also on the same floor as the outdoor deck. Push open the door to the roof and you will find chaises with plush cushions, an honor bar as well as great views of the city. I had my morning coffee out here each day. There is also a guest lounge just to the right of the front desk where there is coffee, tea and water available throughout the day. But the shining star of this place was the restaurant where breakfast was served daily. The food was amazing and there were three different buffet stations, a coffee bar, warm and cold foods as well as an entire area of desserts including a chocolate fountain. I could have stayed in there all day enjoying my coffee with one of the tarts that are so popular here. Service was spot on, my room was super clean and did I mention its right off the subway stop so you can get anywhere you want to go in no time at all. If you are staying in Lisbon- you really should stay at the Hotel Lisboa Plaza!

Cute and fancy with a great location. The rooms are much older-- don't expect more than one electrical outlet. We had to unplug a lamp if we wanted to charge up all of our devices simultaneously.

Old building, old Europe style, tiny rooms. We asked twice for the air conditioner to be fixed as it was boiling in our room. No one ever came. Very clean, ok location, but it would be nice if the staff would be more responsive. Wouldn't recommend it for anyone under 60 as everyone staying there seemed to be of the more senior variety.
