Hotel Lisboa Plaza - Avenida, a Lisbon Heritage Collection

We had a 5 night stay in this beautiful Portuguese Classical Hotel, and from the time we arrived until leaving the Service given by the Hotel staff was exceptionally good in every way. On arrival we were surprised and very pleased to be informed that we had been given a complimentary upgrade to a suite on the 6th floor (Room 610) and this was a delight. Spacious and so well furnished and this really did make our stay that much better. The Hotel is beautifully decorated and so much thought has gone into this, and their attention to detail is first class. The welcoming lounge with free tea/coffee 24/7 is a real bonus as well. |The sleep quality was extremely good, and the breakfast in the morning was fine for us, both quality and choice. |Many thanks to the Portuguese Receptionist at the Front Desk, I think her name was Anna, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in arranging our tours.|We would certainly stay here again.

Our second trip to Lisbon we decided to stay at the same hotel for ease and familiarity. |So glad we did! It is truly like stepping back in time. Elegant without being pretentious. Friendly without being fussy.|Accommodations, food, drink and atmosphere are amazing. But the Staff really sets this establishment appart!|Will definitely stay here three next time we return!

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of October on our way to southern Spain, Seville, Malaga,Granada . We came back again on Nov.11 and stayed at this hotel as we felt welcomed and the Service was great. We came back to familiar smiling face, Tomas, who welcomed us again when we arrived from Granada. The hotel has spacious guest lounge, full of drinks such as coffee, tea n citrus water . Very welcoming ,cozy n clean hotel situated at the center of town, near to many tourist attractions . Highly recommend to stay at this hotel when you are in Lisbon.

Stunning hotel right where you need it to be. Lists of restaurants and upscale shopping! Staff are amazing, friendly and knowledgeable. The lounge is comfortable and offers a welcome port and coffee/tea service 24/7 for our ZAR we found it to be a little pricy but you get 5 star treatment!! Highly recommend!

We recently stayed at the Hotel Lisboa Plaza and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful and full of charm, with many cozy lounge areas to relax in including a lovely rooftop lounge with great views. Breakfast each morning was plentiful and fresh, offering both hot and cold options to suit everyone. Our room was very spacious, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. We did notice some noise from outside and from other floors, but using a sound machine helped, and we slept very comfortably. The location was perfect for us very walkable to the city centre as well as the metro and train station. The staff were truly exceptional warm, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon!

We absolutely loved this hotel. Hotel has a very charming elegant classic feel to it. Great location, walking distance from everything. Great value for your money. It’s the little things that made our stay special. Comfortable bed, Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Robes and slippers in the room. We enjoyed a breakfast buffet every morning with good choices. What impressed us the most was all the great lounges around the reception area. When we checked out we continued to visit the city then came back to enjoy a coffee tea or water while we waiting for our transfer to arrive. The only negative was the rooms aren’t the most sound proof but no street noice was heard. Highly recommend hotel Lisboa plaza.

Great experience! The staff were amazing - extremely friendly and always ready to assist. The lounge is always supplied with free coffee, tea and ice cold water. Trust me, you’ll want that water after a long day of sightseeing. The room was clean; breakfast was abundant and the onsite restaurant was very good. I’d definitely book this hotel again. Location is close to a lot of restaurants, hop on hop off locations and shopping! Thanks 🙏🏽

We had a wonderful recent stay at Hotel Lisboa Plaza! The hotel is clean with a great atmosphere, and excellent attention to detail. When we had an issue arise in our room, staff went well above and beyond to address the problem and even delivered a local bottle of port to our room afterwards. Just an extremely thoughtful gesture and it put a huge smile on our faces! The location of this hotel is also perfect - close to everything, but a little off the main stretch, so you get some peace and quiet too. We will be back for sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you to Paulo the on-site manager who made sure our room was satisfactory for our family of four and Emmanuel the bellhop who made sure everything was setup perfectly on arrival to our room including setting up the kids beds with the maid service. The hotel is a very fair price in one of the most lavish parts of town. The standard rooms are a bit tight, and the breakfast a little so so but the service really nice and you can order fresh eggs etc. Behind the hotel is Restaurante A Gina which will be one of your favorite Portuguese dining experiences (also very reasonably priced). You may not see the restaurant at first but you likely hear the social scene as you walk past the Teatro and then open up to the beautiful restaurant. We'd stay at the hotel on our next visit.

Located near upscale shops, green spaces and a metro station Hotel Lisboa Plaza is an incredible find for under 80 Euros a night. Family-operated with comfortable rooms and a lounge with Coffee or Tea 24/7 there is also an on-site bar, 24-hour fitness center and included breakfast Buffet. Strong wifi, good water pressure and a quiet cobblestone street add to the experience. Upgraded suites also include a free bottle of Sparkling Wine.

What a lovely hotel and it's located right in the middle of all there is to do in Lisbon! I did upgrade to a suite so I had a little more space that a regular room but all in all it was a great experience. The room had a sitting room and a bedroom in the back. The only window was in the bedroom and since the weather was perfect, I opened the window instead of using the air conditioning. Another added bonus? Mgt had a full decanter of port for me in the room so I was able to have a night cap and not even leave my room. This room was also on the same floor as the outdoor deck. Push open the door to the roof and you will find chaises with plush cushions, an honor bar as well as great views of the city. I had my morning coffee out here each day. There is also a guest lounge just to the right of the front desk where there is coffee, tea and water available throughout the day. But the shining star of this place was the restaurant where breakfast was served daily. The food was amazing and there were three different buffet stations, a coffee bar, warm and cold foods as well as an entire area of desserts including a chocolate fountain. I could have stayed in there all day enjoying my coffee with one of the tarts that are so popular here. Service was spot on, my room was super clean and did I mention its right off the subway stop so you can get anywhere you want to go in no time at all. If you are staying in Lisbon- you really should stay at the Hotel Lisboa Plaza!

Cute and fancy with a great location. The rooms are much older-- don't expect more than one electrical outlet. We had to unplug a lamp if we wanted to charge up all of our devices simultaneously.

Old building, old Europe style, tiny rooms. We asked twice for the air conditioner to be fixed as it was boiling in our room. No one ever came. Very clean, ok location, but it would be nice if the staff would be more responsive. Wouldn't recommend it for anyone under 60 as everyone staying there seemed to be of the more senior variety.
