Just returned from an absolutely blissful stay at the Lone Hotel in Istria. This place is a gem! The modern design is stunning, the rooms are large and gorgeous and the food is top-notch. The location is perfect, surrounded by beautiful trees, and right on the beech, but what really made the experience special was the incredible staff. Ivan, Borro, Tanya, Daria, Tatiana, Maya, Dejan and especially Chiara who made the most amazing cocktails, all went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend this hotel for a luxurious and relaxing getaway!"

Fabulous hotel in amazing location . Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was big and well stocked, balcony large and spa facilities fantastic. Breakfast and evening buffet quality and variety of food was amazing. 15 min walk into the lovely town of Rovinj. Not much of a bar area to have a drink on an evening would be my only negative.

What a wonderful hotel, in an idyllic spot with the friendliest and most helpful staff! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Lone, which is within easy walking distance into the picturesque Rovinj. Special mention to the customer services and concierge who organised a trip for us, assisted with a restaurant booking and to top it all provided a celebratory gift for our 5th wedding anniversary. |Breakfast was fresh and delicious, especially the omelettes. Pool was busy but never too crowded and the staff did a good job of removing towels if people were absent for longer than 1 hour ( fair enough IMHO) .|The room was full incredibly spacious with a walk in shower and heated bathroom floor. |Such a special place, we would highly recommend.

We just came back from a two week family vacation at Hotel Lone in Rovinj and it was a mix of really positive impressions and one big disappointment. Traveling with two kids aged 12 and 9 we loved the design of the hotel which feels modern and stylish, and the overall cleanliness both inside the hotel and throughout the property was excellent. The rooms are well equipped with very comfortable beds and even two types of pillows hard and soft which made sleeping very pleasant. The bathroom was spacious with a great shower and plenty of room to move around. For families the connecting setup is great since the parent and kids rooms are two full double rooms joined by a door so you really get proper space. The breakfast buffet was generous with a wide selection and the food quality at both breakfast and dinner was high. Our balcony had a couch table and a small drying rack and the clever use of a mirror gave us a nice side sea view which we really enjoyed.||Unfortunately the pool and beach situation is unacceptable for a five star hotel in this price range. We paid more than 10,000 EUR for two weeks and expected to be able to get sunbeds at the pool or hotel beach if we went there around 9 am. The reality was that by 9 am not a single sunbed with shade was available. Guests from the hotel and especially from the other cheaper Maistra hotels that share the pool and beach had already reserved everything early in the morning and even during the night with towels. This meant that unless you wanted to get up at six in the morning and claim a chair with a towel you had no chance. For a hotel that markets itself in the luxury segment and charges these rates this is simply not acceptable. People paying this kind of money do not want to fight for a sunbed like at a three star mass tourism resort.||It is really a shame because apart from this issue we enjoyed almost everything. But for us this problem is a deal breaker and we will not return to Hotel Lone.

Another wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel . We came for the first time in 2016 and return every year. Wonderful breakfast , friendly welcoming staff , large spotlessly clean rooms , great position on edge of forest and next to beach . The only negative for me was the difficulty in getting a sunbed by the pool at the beginning of our stay . Every sunbed seemed to be reserved with a blue towel from the neighbouring hotel- this was very frustrating. |Having said that , I’m sure that we will return again next year !

We really liked the Lone Hotel. Unfortunately, the exterior already shows its age. Nevertheless, the rooms are clean, and the service and staff are really excellent. The breakfast was very generous and had a wide selection. The Quality was very good and super fresh. Unfortunately, there was no variety in the food during the 10 days we were there. All the dishes were the same every day. The food from room service and at the ON restaurant was okay. The taste wasn't outstanding, though. We liked the food at Tekka and Oleander better. We were very satisfied with our vacation and look forward to another vacation at your hotel.
