Hotel Mas Generós

Absolutely outstanding – just not Room No. 4.|An excellent boutique hotel with exceptional cuisine by Iolanda Bustos, who delivers an authentic, local, and eco-conscious dining experience. Everything is based on fresh, seasonal, and regional ingredients, often sourced directly from the hotel’s own garden.|The property, located at the entrance of a small idyllic village, is a little paradise with all its rooms facing the garden. The garden landscape with the pool is wild and beautiful.|Just one warning when booking: avoid Room No. 4 on the ground floor, which faces the street just one meter away. It doesn’t match the rest of the hotel at all — while it's spacious, it's dark, and if you like sleeping with the window slightly open, your head will be just 1.5 meters from passing cars. A shame.|Would gladly return — but never to Room No. 4.

One of the nicest places we ever stayed. There is a big garden with a nice pool and they grow their own herbs. You can even pick herbs and make fresh tea with it. There is a serene atmosphere in this place where you can truly relax. We had breakfast and dinner here and really enjoyed the fresh and deliciously prepared meals. We had beautiful big and clean rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. When in the neighborhood we will definitely stay here again!

While the property is breathtaking and beautiful, the service of the hotel is terrible, reception staff members are rude, and they don’t value their guests and their experience during their stay.

Mas Generos is a delightful experience. The renovated 17th century renovated Spanish farm house is an exquisite small boutique hotel set in the Spanish country side. Its location is ideal as it is a 2 minute walk to an historic town. In less than than 10km you can be on the beach or in the middle of several towns with many shops and restaurants. The owner and staff at the hotel were wonderful, the meals were all 5 star. ||||We attended a concert that the hotel put on which featured an opera singer accompanied by a pianist, it was something that we will remember forever. ||||A special thanks to the owner, Eugenia who went out of her way to make us feel at home. Her suggestions as to where to sightsee and explore were spot on, she is a delightful person who takes personal pride in her guests comfort and overall experience while at her hotel.

Mas Generos was one of the nicest places I have been to! This place is a wonder, designed with a great taste and love to the history. It has everything you need for a great stay in the nature. Amazing garden, pool, nature, great breakfast. It is surrounded by nice little villages with great restaurants, forest, mountains, and the sea is just 15 min away by car as well. The owner of the hotel was so kind and welcoming, we felt like at home! It's the place where you want to stay and live forever, just perfect! We definitely coming back here soon!

This was an absolutely blissful place to stay! - a true gem, with care given to the design of the rooms and common spaces - and special attention to the experience of guests. Make sure to not miss the breakfast buffet! We had the breakfast on the covered patio in the garden and it was beautiful. The restaurant was not open but a table was arranged at the restaurant in the village (again, a brilliant meal and amazing service!). Thank you for welcoming us into this special place.

Mas Generos is a gorgeous place to stay and it was perfect for our entry into Spain. We were jet lagged from our long flight from Alaska and we were able to order snacks and a bottle of wine to our room. The food is fabulous, the fresh vegetables and bacalo were delicious. The grounds are amazing, so many beautiful spaces to enjoy! And of course a beautiful breakfast! Eugenia and her staff were so helpful and lovely, and helped arrange a taxi from the Barcelona airport. We plan to come back!
