Hotel MOCO

The location was very convenient for shopping and finding places to eat. Our room was right off the main street, so we could hear all the mopeds and cars that passed by late at night. It could be noisy for some. The breakfast wasn't as good as I had hoped, IMO. All that you say, I would stay here again, but not purchase the breakfast.

The hotel is still quite new, with a design that blends modern luxury and Isaan (northeastern Thai) influences. The overall look is spacious and elegant, giving a true high-class feel. 👨‍💼 The staff are professional yet friendly, making guests feel welcome. 🛏️ The room features quality furniture, stylish lighting, and a soft, comfortable bed with good pillows and linens. 🚿 The bathroom is excellent — great water pressure and temperature, even on higher floors. Amenities are complete and match the hotel’s standard. 🍽️ Breakfast is decent, with a good variety of buffet items and a small à la carte menu you can order from continuously. Staff are attentive and happy to serve food directly to your table. 🚗 Parking can be limited, as it shares space with UD Town, but security staff do their best to help guests find parking spots near the entrance.

If not for the toxic air freshener that they pump into the lobby and rooms, MOCO is easily rated a 5+ star property. It is a beautify hotel, great location, and nice staff. As a person who is sensitive to chemicals, MOCO would not be my first choice in Udon Thani. I was awakened at 5a to toxic air freshener being pumped through my room’s AC. In an effort to create a sensory aura through smell, they ruin the experience. Even their restaurant is air freshener tainted. Hence, chose to not eat there. The best smell is always no smell. As a footnote, some businesses will overload a property with perfume to mask unwanted odors such as mold.

The best accommodation if you’re in Udon Thani. The room was well decorated and absolutely spotless. The bed was very comfortable. Prime location with countless shops and restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommended.

This is my first time staying in Udon Thani province. I feel lucky to stay at this hotel. The location is the best. You can walk from the hotel to Walking Street, shopping malls, food courts, convention halls, and many good restaurants in the area. The room is clean. The staffs are excellent. The price is reasonable. I highly recommend.

Staff very nice and professional. Restaurant is amazing. However, very disappointed that even room have balcony you can’t open it and also can’t open the window in the room for the airflow which is very downside. Also this hotel doesn’t have gym and pool. If you want to go exercise there is a gym outside the hotel around 2 mins walk & pay 150 bath each time per visit.

There's nothing bad to complain about when it's hotel MOCO. It's the best hotel in Udon Thani. Our family chose to stay at hotel MOCO every time we visited this beautiful town of Udon. The hotel is located in the middle of everything. If you choose to opt out of having their wide variety of options for delish breakfast, there's a 2-min walk morning market nearby. There's also a daily night market in the same area of where the hotel is located. To our surprise, we didn't hear any noise outside of our room during the night market hours even though our rooms were facing the restaurants. Besides the morning and night markets, there's also a HUGE food court right next to the hotel, several other international restaurants, a gym, a drug store, an international supermarket (Villa Supermarket), Starbucks and a few other coffee shops, a post office, and so many more shops and kiosks (please look up Google maps for more details) in the same area and very short walking distance from the hotel. One of the best private hospitals, Ake Udon Hospital, is also very close by. The main train station is a 5-minute walk from the hotel, in case you take the train here from Bangkok - no need to take a taxi or tuk tuk even if you have one or two suitcases. You could just walk straight to the hotel. The biggest shopping mall, Central Udon Thani, is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. There are a few nice salons nearby the hotel, and several traditional Thai massage parlors in walking distance as well. The staff was very welcoming, and their service was top notch. Our son forgot his stuffed animal in the room after we checked out, and he could not leave without his sleeping mate. I contacted the hotel staff, and they willingly provided their support. They mailed the stuffed animal from Udon Thani to the US for us!!!! Within two weeks, my son had his friend back. We just couldn't thank them enough. You will NEVER lose anything at the hotel, as they have their lost and found room - that's where they found my son's stuffed animal. I highly recommend hotel MOCO to anyone traveling to Udon Thani. The rate is very reasonable, considering all the convenience and a great stay they will experience. The rooms were always nice and clean - not sure why a few people said they had an uncleaned room; it's quite impossible. Oh, the bed is super comfy, too! All in all, we LOVED everything at hotel MOCO, and we will surely return to this hotel every time we visit Udon Thani in the future

9.5 out of 10, the 0.5 is if they have a pool would be perfect! It's a lovely 5 star boutique hotel. Really enjoyed our 4 nights stay.
