Nestled next to Cuzco's bustling San Pedro Market, this serene hotel blends colonial charm with modern comforts, featuring beautiful courtyards and top-notch dining.
Imagine a monastery converted to a hotel, and the hotel delivers. Beautiful gardens, Spanish details of colonial architecture. Fantastic location next to the huge San Pedro Mercado for last minute tourist gifts, but one of the best features is everything is in walking distance. The hotel also offers an excellent restaurant, beautiful buffet breakfast, and a spa with message services you won't want to miss. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodated all our questions.

Everyone at the hotel was nice. Breakfast was good and had plenty of choice. The location is convenient, but very busy. Right across the street from San Pedro market which is a pro and con. This is the only hotel we stayed at that didn't provide free water in the room. If you're staying here there's a grocery store across the street which has the best prices for water. We did utilize their laundry service, charged a few soles per individual piece you wanted laundered. The biggest negative was the shower. It had to run forever to get even luke warm, wouldn't stay here again as a result.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for a few days at the end of our 3.5 week in Peru. It is a great place to stay. It was right next to San Pedro market and Peru Rail station, and within a few minutes walk of Plaza Des Armes The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was the best one we experienced in Peru. I found it pretty quiet, as we were in the central courtyard. The restaurant was very good too. Breakfast was included in the price and it was an excellent buffet. We ate at the restaurant 2 nights and the food was very good. However, I did have better Pisco Sours elsewhere. Staff were great and very helpful. The standards were great. I would highly recommend this place to stay if you are not on a tight budget.

The location is great and the hotel is lovely, but the bed is as hard as a rock and unfortunately, we had a street facing room so lots of car noise, people noise, dogs barking, etc. late into the night. The front desk staff were friendly though and the breakfast was nice! A softer bed and a courtyard facing room would have me writing a 5 star review!

Location is great since it’s 15 min walk to center of town BUT rooms are horrible. We could hear EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE that walked by our room. Starting at 6am when cleaning staff would begin , we could hear them talking and running up and down hallways- seems like rooms do not have any insulation. Two good things for this hotel are the cleanliness and there was hot water . Still , I would not stay here if you want to get any type of sleep

Huge disappointment. I blame myself: I was excited about the monastery thing so failed to read the reviews attentively. It’s all there already: the lackluster breakfast, which they refill only when you track them down, the basic rooms - some with no proper windows and all of which not soundproofed. Our hot water was shut off without warning. What else? There’s a long list so I’ll stop here. There are much better options for this price in Cusco.

Reason for 1 star is that at 3am on 29Aug a one-hour extremely loud parade went by our street-facing room. Worst hotel sleeping night ever.
We learned in the morning that hotel personnel was fully aware of the parade but booked us in a street facing room (despite internal rooms being available) and didn't warn us about the parade.
Imagine waking up at 3am to an extremely loud 1-hour parade.
Couldn't go back to sleep.
In addition, there was a very loud speaker running for 20 min at 12:30am on 27aug.
For context, there was normal street noise every night but it was reasonable.

Excellent experience and close to San Pedro Market and Historic District! Rooms were clean, dining was good, excellent service and beautiful courtyards! Check in was easy. The hotel held our luggage while we hiked the Inca Trail and retrieval was easy.
