I stayed here with my two teenage children and we loved it. The lobby area is beautiful and the rooms are very cute as well. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms were quiet. The staff were so kind and helpful. They provided bottles of water in the rooms which was very helpful after traveling as well as some other complimentary drinks. The location was great as well. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a fabulous stay in Paris at Hotel Monge in November. The hotel is perfectly located near two different metro stops, very close to the Pantheon, and a short walk downhill to the St Germaine area/Notre Dame. Metro accessibility made it very easy to get anywhere in Paris. The staff at the hotel was lovely, greeting us warmly and ensuring we had everything needed for a pleasant stay. The seating area off the lobby was cozy and offered a tasty continental breakfast (either prepay or pay as you go) and also a very nice "honor bar" to enjoy at the end of the evening. Though the room was on the smaller side, it was comfortable and spacious enough for our longer stay. We slept well! We appreciated the daily replenishment of water and juices in the room and also the L'Occitane bath products. Periodically you can hear the rumble of the subway under the street, but it was not enough to bother us. The hotel was quiet and a good respite from the bustling streets. Lots of great restaurants in the immediate neighborhood if you don't want to venture deeper into Paris. Highly recommend Hotel Monge!

I loved this hotel from start to finish. Lovely people at reception and beautiful lobby. Excellent breakfast - eggs, fruit, yogurt, croissants, etc. - at a reasonable price. Comfortable and stylish room. I used the steam room several times and it felt so good and luxurious at the end of a long sightseeing day. Truth be told, I was only planning on spending one night, but cancelled my reservation at another hotel and stayed here longer instead.||The area is great; near the lively Place de la Contrescarpe and a ten-minute walk to the heart of the Latin Quarter. Planning another spring trip to Paris and will surely book this hotel.

Hotel Monge is a lovely boutique hotel in the Latin Quarter. Our stay was made special by each and every member of the front desk staff — whether it was pre visit requests or restaurant recommendations while there or directions. They could not have been more accommodating and helpful. |Our room was comfortable, the shower great and the morning coffee the perfect way to start the day. Great croissants nearby and lots of restaurants. Uber was accessible when we did not want the metro. |Two restaurants nearby were recommended. Totally different but each was great. Lesar and Au Petit Bistro. |We hope to return to Paris and if we do, Hotel Monge will top our list

My wife and our two children recently stayed in two separate rooms in this lovely hotel in the Latin Quarter. The rooms we're very clean and wonderfully decorated. The location was great and really had the feel that you were in a neighborhood with local Parisians, despite being close to some of the major tourist attractions. There is also a laundromat a block away from the hotel for anyone needing to do laundry.||The best part of this hotel was the absolutely charming staff... for anyone who claims that service in Paris is rude or inattentive, I challenge them to give this place a try. We highly recommend!

The Hotel Monge is a wonderful 4 star hotel. Like most hotels in Paris, the rooms are somewhat small but is well appointed and provided sufficient space to make our stay comfortable. The staff is exceptional and provided some really good information and advice on a daily basis. My wife and I have some physical limitations but we found the hotel to be centrally located and relatively easy to reach the locations that we were visiting. There are plenty of good restaurants in the area, relatively short walks to metro stations and a vibrant local community. This is not a reflection on the hotel but there are two things that we should have considered. First, for those people arriving from overseas first thing in the morning, check-in is at 3 PM and since no rooms were available, we had to do some sightseeing until the room was available. The hotel stored our luggage while we did so but it made for a very long day. Secondly, in order to use the shower in the bathroom, you have to step into an old style clawfoot bathtub which was a little difficult for us. I would recommend that if this could be a problem for anyone else, they should inquire as to whether there are any other options. I would not hesitate to stay at the hotel again if we get an opportunity to return in the future.

Rooms are small but luxurious and very sound proof. We slept well in our king sized bed and enjoyed a generous breakfast each morning. 2 Metro stops are within a 5 minute walk and we felt very safe traveling at any time of the day or night. |I would absolutely recommend this hotel

Google
We had a lovely stay at this hotel, especially the friendly staff as others have noted. They recommended/got us in to a great restaurant we would have never found! Great boulangerie and two metro stops nearby. One nice touch is the mini bar drinks of water and juice are free and refilled daily. Our room was street-side on the 2nd floor so we could hear some street noise and rumble of the metro during the day, but quieted down at night. The location is great for a neighborhood feel and close to the Pantheon, although it was quite cold this time of year to fully take advantage of the gardens nearby.

Yelp
Everything about hotel Monge was perfect. Beautifully decorated boutique hotel with professional staffs. Hotel amenity was top notch for small boutique hotel. Room was clean, bed was firm and comfortable, rain fall shower with nice water pressure was so good. Free mini bar with water, sparkling water & juice were stocked everyday. Also, everyone at this hotel was courteous and helpful. I'm definitely coming back when I'm in Paris.

Yelp
I highly recommend this gem of a spot in the Latin Quarter. My husband whisked me off for what ended up being a long weekend, as we missed our first flight (NEVER Take French Bee, they are evil, but Air Tahiti Nui is great--unless you are quite tall). What I loved about this area is it was quiet and safe feeling, being tucked into an area that is becoming more residential sort of, but you can easily walk to Notre Dame, La Marais, even Champs-Élysées if you are very ambitious. I lived in this area many, MANY years ago and it was wonderful to be back. The hotel itself is adorable and I loved the staff. It's very clean, there is an honor bar and breakfast (which I never woke up in time for once) and a Turkish bath (which I did not have time for either so can't say anything about). I initially gave them a 4 star, because, no it is not the Ritz, and there are no bathtubs and it is small--but the sweet attentive service and cleanliness and cute vibe are much appreciated. It's a well coiffed hotel, Very small but with nice decor - birds everywhere. Super cute and we will be back!

Yelp
Stayed here during a week-long stint in Paris and it was easily one of the better hotel choices you can make while in the city. Here's what you need to know: 1. Rooms are standard European size but the bathrooms are larger (and perfect for anyone that is taller) 2. Ultimate boutique hotel experience that is centrally located. Everything, including the metro, is a short walk away (including SO much good food and a few bars) 3. Staff is so nice and friendly, which made the experience even better. 4. Pretty good breakfast options, including tea and coffee available all day. 5. Super comfortable beds and blackout curtains During my next stay in Paris, Hotel Monge will definitely be at the top of the list.

Yelp
I read amazing reviews about hotel Monge but it was even better. Definitely want to come back! Close proximity to everything, comfortable sleep and a steam room! We had the best time.

Yelp
Amazing boutique hotel in great location. Few steps away from metro and 15min walk to Notre Dame. Super friendly staff with excellent service. Breakfast was perfect but also good bakeries with in few minutes walk away. Room was clean and bed was firm and so comfortable. Rainfall shower with good water pressure was my favorite. I am definitely coming back for my next trip to Paris.

Yelp
Hotel Monge and staff are the best! We just came back after a five night stay and it was the most comfortable stay I've had in all my visits to Paris. Our bed and room were so comfortable and sophisticated (in decor). You feel relaxed as soon as you enter the cozy room. My family and I have also stayed at their sister hotel-Hotel Fabric; attention to detail and knowing their clientele is part of their DNA. They get it. Their lobby is also a sitting area where my family and I convened in the morning and eve. Adjacent to the sitting area is the dining room where complimentary coffee and snacks are on hand 24/7. In the evening, they have a bar set up with a nice selection of wine and spirits. A delicious breakfast is also available every morning-complete with buttery/flaky croissants, hot and cold cheeses and meats, breads, yogurts...along with juices, coffees and teas. Special shout out to Cecelia who we had the pleasure of meeting again here at Hotel Monge and last Fall at Fabric. Her hospitality and professionalism is unmatched. When we return later this year, we will definitely be staying here.

Yelp
Beautiful and cozy boutique hotel! Very warm and inviting staff that made me feel super special on my 40th Birthday holiday!! They left me a personal message in our room which was elegantly decorated. Hotel Monge's cleanliness met my OCD expectations over and beyond...I even felt comfortable walking barefoot in the room and bathroom! (That never happens btw) Although it rained the entire only day we were in Paris, the hotel ambience and staff made up for it! The breakfast was superb and evening snacks with beverages (honor system) was a great added touch. The night stay also included a private reservation in their wonderfully relaxing spa/hamaam (steam room and shower). It was an immaculate all-marble hamaam stocked with towels, L'Occitane bath products, robes, slippers and bottles of Evian. It was truly a luxurious experience!!!

Yelp
We stayed at the Hotel Monge on our first trip to Paris, which also happened to be our honeymoon. We stayed for three nights and had a lovely time! We got a "superior room", which was small but very comfortable. The room had great storage, free water, a couch and great blackout curtains. The breakfast was great, and they even have real scrambled eggs-- not the powder eggs you usually see at hotels. Coffee, tea and water were available free of charge anytime, and there was a "honesty" bar for cocktails in the evening. We didn't get to use it, but guests can use the sauna and shower free of charge. You get the whole thing to yourself if you book it in advance. Overall, it was a wonderful hotel, and we will definitely stay there when we come back to Paris.

Yelp
A completely lovely and very comfortable hotel with friendly and accommodating concierges. Probably the most comfortable bed I've slept in during my entire trip. The hammam was a welcome respite and we loved the decor. Just perfect in every way. The breakfast is worth every penny. I will definitely return.

Yelp
I loved this hotel! The check-in and check-out was completely easy which was nice after traveling such a long way from the states. This hotel feels new, clean, and sooo comfortable. The complimentary mini fridge was a highlight of our stay. It was restocked once a day and was great to having cold drinks in the morning. The staff was SO friendly. They spoke English well and were highly accommodating to our every needs. We didn't try the breakfast but there are many cafes and bakeries right outside. This hotel is in what seems to be a more residential neighborhood which was nice and didn't make us feel like tourists. It was a very short walk from the metro and if you get a room on the high floors the views of Paris are breathtaking! I would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
They staff is friendly and if you're not fluent in French they do speak English. You don't feel out of place. They are thorough in explaining the amenities. They offer private steam room and massage, you just have to let them know ahead of time. There are eateries and yes a Starbucks near by to satisfy that coffee hunger! A great little hotel!

Yelp
Perfect hotel for exploring Paris! I've stayed here multiple times because I love it so much. The location is near the metro and also walking distance to many shops and cafes. The rooms are pleasant, clean, and quiet. The "honor bar", complimentary in-room drinks, and morning breakfast make this boutique hotel a shining star. There are many nice hotels in Paris, but if you have a chance to stay in Hotel Monge, I highly recommend it.

Yelp
This hotel is great! We spent 4 nights there in Sept 2019 and absolutely loved it. Try to get a room on the 6th floor with a balcony. It made the small room (normal in Europe) seem bigger. We loved all the little amenities in the room like the towel warmer in the bathroom, old books on the shelves, nice toiletries, cute stationary, robes and slippers, stocked mini fridge (complimentary!!)... All the staff in the hotel were also very pleasant. My husband used the steam room and loved it. I would 100% stay here again.

Yelp
AMAZING hotel, AMAZING staff! This place made our 3 night trip to Paris one to remember! The room was SO COZY AND SO COMFORTABLE we didn't want to leave! Bathroom was updated to the max.... we were so inspired, we have decided to change one of our rentals (we have airbnb's) to be just like this place! The details are so appreciated and quality everywhere! Breakfast is 5 star, fresh breads, croissants, eggs, meats, and the cheese is to die for! I'm so glad we booked here... if we ever come back to Paris, we will DEFINITELY stay here again! And btw, we've traveled all over the world... Ritz Carleton, Four Seasons, some of the nicest places around... you can put this quaint French place right up there with them all!

Yelp
This hotel was very chic - loved the decorations! It was so clean. The hotel staff was so accommodating and friendly. It was located in a very safe location, conveniently located close to 2 different metro stations and a very close uber ride to central Paris where the tourist attractions are. The hotel has a grocery store within a block from it which is very convenient, along with 2 amazingly delicious pastry shops, and a wine store! They offer a very good looking breakfast selection (which actually we did not partake in because we just brought pastries back to the hotel every morning), but they also offer their coffee/latte/espresso machine for free. So glad we stayed here and we will definitely be doing so next time we are in Paris!

John M.

Yelp
Great hotel during our small stay in Paris! Has a convenient elevator and really nice rooms in a fantastic location. Everything is close around in the Latin quarters for food, entertainment, and landmarks. In the mornings they serve complimentary coffee in the lobby and offer several other amenities as well. The staff was super helpful in assisting us with transportation and directions to the train station- thanks Idir! Until next time!

Yelp
Outstanding hotel, great service and Awesome location! Make sure you take advantage of the FREE and private Turkish Bath (sauna). Thank you to Lucie and all the staff who went out of their way to make my Paris vacation a blast! 50 yards from the metro makes getting around a breeze. Very centrally located. The breakfast is fine, complimentary coffee and tea was nice to have all day long. You won't regret spending the extra money on this hotel.

Yelp
We arrived prior to our check-in time & were warmly greeted by the front desk staff. The room was a little small for 2 large suitcases - but very neat & clean. The small L.E.D lights in the shower/incorporated in the tile was a nice touch. Inge was always pleasant & extremely helpful. Sanan greeted us in the morning & provided us with suggestions & maps of where we could take an early morning jog - again, very friendly & just made the stay much more enjoyable. Maeva was also very pleasant. The breakfast is amazing! Fresh, plenty to choose from and always available space for seating - unlike other hotels where you're having to battle to get something to eat or drink. Close to everything you need to see as a tourist & only a block from the Metro. Easy to get around, especially with the help of Inge & Sanan. Thank you for making our short stay with you a memorable one in a good way ;)
