The Complete MICHELIN Guide to Paris Hotels

"Embodying Montmartre’s creative, bohemian spirit, the hotel dresses vintage‑style rooms with flea‑market treasures and runs a restaurant serving bistro staples that opens onto a hidden terrace where monthly live piano and singing shows create a delightfully intimate, local vibe." - The MICHELIN Guide

Where to Stay in Paris: The Best Affordable Hotels

"A bohemian, sustainability-minded hideaway in Montmartre housed in a 19th-century building with sunlit rooms clustered around a secret garden, terrazzo floors made from demolished materials, recycled solar panels, flea-market furnishings, and a restaurant sourcing produce from local Montmartre purveyors. The property immerses guests in the neighborhood’s artistic history but offers relatively small rooms that can feel snug for two." - Sophie Dodd Sophie Dodd Sophie Dodd is a travel, wine and lifestyle writer.  Travel + Leisure Editorial Guidelines

Monsieur Aristide (Paris, Île-de-France) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Montmartre holds a special place in the romantic imagination of many visitors to Paris, and Monsieur Aristide leans into the romance, embracing the neighborhood’s bohemian charm. Which isn’t to say this boutique hotel isn’t innovative on its own terms. The 19th-century building was a longtime fixture on the local hotel scene — the wood-paneled reception desk, with its quaint rows of key hooks, is original, as is the vintage cocktail bar with its curving booths and retro Wurlitzer — before it was snapped up and smartly updated by an emerging hotelier and added to the Adresses Hôtels collection." - Tablet Hotels

We absolutely adored this hotel. We stayed here for one day on our short trip to France and loved it. Louis-Marie at reception was incredibly welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed during our stay. The room was beautiful and clean and so Parisian. It’s in a great location in the heart of Montmartre and close to many public transportation options. We will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Paris!

The service was great and the place is very cute and in a great location. But a few things to note because this was a very special trip for my fiancee and I and the hotel sort of put a damper on things. So wanted to pass the information on so you can decide if worth it for you First off, I booked a room that was one up from the smallest size and it was supposed to have a "city view." When we arrived, we were on ground floor with no city view. Instead we had a garden view, which is fine but we specifically wanted to be able to have some view of Paris. Small miss but then also, the room was extremely small. Either we didn't get the right room or the smallest rooms are even smaller. Then, our room also had a ton of dust. My fiancee has asthma so it was very triggered by the dust. They couldn't move us that night so we had to suffer through it. The next day they moved us to another room, still with no city view but at least the room was double the size. However, it still had a lot of dust and mildew smell. Much better and doable at least. But then, there were tons of little gnats in the room. Still not the end of the world but then also their was no hot water at 11:30 am when we showered before checkout. So just a lot of little misses added up to making it somewhere we would not recommend.

We had a fab time at monsieur Aristide! The room was small as many Paris hotel rooms are but the staff at the hotel made the experience so special for us. Aldo at reception was fantastic as were the other guys at reception and at the bar. The wonderful singer made our first night so much fun when the staff performed karaoke and I joined in! Thank you to all of you for a very special trip.

We have not even checked out yet but couldn’t wait write a review about this beautiful place! We are here on our honeymoon and couldn’t be happier we picked this hotel. The vibes are amazing and the decor is the cutest. We are staying in a gorgeous suite with possibly the coolest shower ever. We also have our own private little garden and it fully encapsulates Paris and its charm. I can’t recommend this place enough. The staff is wonderful and the drinks at the bar are amazing. Will definitely be back soon!

Very nice hotel in the heart of Montmartre. Even though it is close to the touristic sites, it is located in a short and quiet street with little traffic. Service at reception and bar was excellent and very warm. Breakfast was very rich and is served in a small relaxing garden. Room assigned to us was small, but well equipped. As a suggestion, curtains in the shower could avoid spreading water around. I would gladly return next time in Paris!

Staff was wonderful and it’s in a perfect location. However this hotel is need of renovation. Carpet is stained and dirty, hot water runs out frequently, guests can’t control the heat, mattresses are very hard and uncomfortable, rooms are small.

We were surprised to think this was a 4 star hotel. The front desk staff was friendly. Our room was in the garden, considered to be an executive double room. We were incredibly warm in October with no windows to open. My husband had sinus issues due to the damp environment. Our shower flooded frequently but the most concerning was the absence of water flowing from our shower or the intermittent pulsating water. I was unable to wash my hair due to the lack of water flow. Breakfast and coffee was consistently good. Location was central to all Metros.
