Hôtel Monte Cristo

Great stay at Hotel Monte Cristo. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful. We stayed in the Haydee Suite - it was spacious and beautifully appointed. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom large and modern. We loved the overall design of hotel and attention to detail. ||The pool/sauna are a nice touch and a great way to spend a relaxing hour.||We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but it looked good.||Only two slight issues. First is that I had told them we were visiting on our honeymoon and this was never acknowledged when we checked in or at any point. Second is that the location makes it a bit difficult to get to many of the main areas easily. Still the area is very nice and there are a number of metro stops nearby. ||We would definitely stay here again.

Had an incredible stay with my service animal. The stuff is extremely kind and welcoming and the place is simply beautiful. Also I believe it has one of the best cocktails selections I’ve ever seen with over 1000 run bottles to choose from. Was really taken care of! Only thing, I found the swimming pool to be a bit cold. I would go back without a doubt !

Fell in love with this stunning hotel in Paris has an ideal location. The interior design is absolutely enchanting, the rooms are beautiful, and the lobby, along with the building’s façade, leaves a lasting impression. The hotel also has a charming bar with exceptional cocktails that add to the magical atmosphere. The staff is really kind and helpful. Our stay here was truly unforgettable!

Absolute perfection! This is the most lovely hotel! Clean rooms with soft beds and gorgeous decor and character. Balcony to bathroom was perfect. The lobby is so interesting with a display of taxidermy birds. PERFECT breakfast and lattes in a richly decorated hotel bar. Five star service from every single employee. I will be back and I so look forward to my next stay!

Hotel was very quiet, very clean and in a great area - be sure to spend some time in the Latin district in the immediate vicinity. Pool and Sauna we had to ourselves every time we used. You have to book a slot and there are no more than 5 guests permitted at any one time. The rum bar downstairs was always buzzing, but we didn’t visit on this occasion. The rooms are pretty compact, but well decorated and furnished and have a really good feel. Would highly recommend, we’ll be there again.

Asked for a quiet room for a 5 night stay - they assured me this one was quiet. But turns out it's really loud. Bar music from the bar on the ground floor doesn't stop until well after 1 in the morning. Walls are pretty thin. Rooms are tiny, even the superior ones. Very hard to sleep here... The staff is mostly nice and all - and the location is off the beaten path a bit, which I like. But not being able to sleep at a decent hour has ruined the hotel experience.

My partner and I loved our stay here!! The location was central, which was perfect for us. The AC was strong and very much appreciated in 35°C heat! The room and bathroom were great also. Loved opening the windows in the room and bathroom. Love Rituals so thoroughly enjoyed the toiletries. The intimate time we had to ourselves in the pool and sauna was lovely.

Perfect hotel - couldn’t fault it! Lovely rooms, fantastic location, friendly & attentive staff. Room/Service - We booked the superior double, and requested a room with a balcony. The room was spacious and clean, with huge bathroom and lots of nice rituals toiletries. When we arrived there was a note wishing my partner a happy birthday, as well as some madeleines AND vegan chocolate! The cleaner visited daily, and a high standard of cleanliness was maintained throughout our stay. No request was too much trouble, we were given extra bottles of water at no charge and when we asked for an iron someone brought it to our room within a couple of minutes. Dining - Room service was great, the menu is small but all of the 4 dishes we ordered were delicious. Breakfast was okay, it’s a continental breakfast but they do serve scrambled eggs or you can boil your own if you wish. The only thing that wasn’t great is that every morning there were small flies all over the cheese - perhaps a cloche would help with this! Location - ideally located on a quiet street, 5 mins walk from the closest metro station and Rue Moffetard which is a charming little street full of independent shops and restaurants.

Great environment and staff was helpful. Room took a lot longer than expected to check-in but outside of that the breakfast was awesome and I had a good experience.

The staff was incredible! They were always ready to advise if anything special was happening in the neighborhood (as well as anything you might wish to avoid). When asked for special room allocations for other members of our family they were very courteous & discreet about the requests ;) The rooms are heavenly, super comfortable & quiet. After a full day of walking many miles you can soothe your aches & ails away in their downstairs sauna and pool. Honestly, the only thing that would make this experience even better would be the addition of a jacuzzi hot tub next to the pool. This hotel is perfectly located if you want to be in the middle of 'the everything', but just tucked away enough from the immediate action.
