Stayed at Hotel Movich Cartagena De Indias for a little couple’s escape, and let’s just say… it almost lived up to the hype.
The rooftop? Chef’s kiss. Views were straight out of a travel magazine — perfect for pretending we were influencers while sipping overpriced drinks and dodging the occasional seagull. The rooms were clean and had that luxury feel, but nothing mind-blowing. Bed was comfy, though I wouldn’t write poetry about it.
Now the service… well, let’s just say the staff weren’t exactly in a rush to impress. You could age gracefully waiting for a poolside order. Not rude, just kind of on vacation with you.
Location was “meh.” Not terrible, not amazing — enough to feel connected but not exactly in the heart of the action.
Would I stay here again? Maybe — for the view and the vibe, yes. But I’d manage my expectations on service and probably bring snacks.
