Hotel Neckartal Inh. B. Nödinger

Stayed for 2 nights and found the hotel very welcoming. There was a definite warmth in their emails. We arrived about 11 am after an early flight. We wanted to leave our cases, but were able to go straight to our room.||||The hotel were very helpful in giving directions to the station, to get to Stuttgart, (about 30 minutes by train).||||In the evening we ate in the hotel & had an excellent meal. As they were also catering for a party of about 40, we were pleased to get in. ||||The rooms are good value, and have good lights for reading in bed.||Rooms were a little cool, but not a problem once in bed. (And in so many hotels, the room can be too stuffy).||||Parts of the hotel are closed during the day, but the key gives access at all hours.||||Definitely recommended. Good value for money.

Booked a one night stop for myself and two other colleagues, we arrived at about 9pm in the evening after a 6 hour drive from France. We were quickly checked in and given our rooms, the room I had was spacious with a very comfy bed, the bathroom was a bit dated, but clean and a nice hot shower.||||As we arrived late we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant which was actually a very good choice. The choice of food on offer covered both traditional local cuisine as well as a more European offering. We had a mix of both between the three of us we were not disappointed, the quality was excellent and definitely worth trying if you stay.||||Breakfast was a traditional offering of cereal, cold meats, cheese, salmon etc... but a gain the quality and quantity on offer was good.||||A very nice hotel and recommended if you are passing through.

This hotel is a good choice for a comfortable sleep and breakfast. Quite good buffet breakfast. You can have a drink at the bar before you go to bed. There arent many beer kinds. Just a few. But wines are ok. In winter, do not forget to turn on heating radiators' gate valve. They keep it off unless there is guest.

The Neckartal is quite convenient when you are on business trip to Wendlingen. ||||The hotel is ... "professional". The rooms are fairly OK (when you do not come for leisure), but could be upgraded to meet the 3* (bigger and better TVs - to brainwash you after one day in meetings-, modern design, clearer lines, ...) The bar is too small to be able to drink a beer with colleagues.||The staff is really professional, but with the quite of hardworking humor of the Swabian people, aka as a total absence of humor.||||At the end of the day it is rather a hotel for solitary stays||||On the contrary the food is quite good, a good mixture between traditional local food and modern cuisine. At least until the bill arrives, ...||||The prices (even with company discount) are on the upper end of the scale (for both hotel and restaurant, above the delivered service

Stayed here on business for 3 days as well located, the restaurant food was excellent I highly recommend the pepper steak! Service from all staff was excellent especially Lisa.||The rooms are very basic so I would advise a laptop and wifi dongle for entertainment, but on the whole very good.

Lovely comfortable room in the annex building. Could of done with kettle in room and not a jug for hot water? Overall nice stay

Excellent food, very nice staff. Very proffesional! I recommend it !
