"Steeped in history, Gut Panker is a truly idyllic spot. The tranquil estate is the epitome of rural charm and is also known as a Trakehner stud farm – it forms the perfect backdrop for Hotel & Restaurant Ole Liese. Here, two establishments – Wirtschaft and Restaurant 1797 have been merged to create a new concept. In the evening, there is a choice of three set menus: "Liese's Garten" (vegetarian), "Ole's Landhaus" and "Gourmet Menü 1797". Individual courses of each can be ordered à la carte. The cooking is regional, seasonal, and international, featuring dishes from caramelised goat's cheese toKönigsberger Klopse(meatballs in a white wine sauce with capers) and barbecued octopus. Food is served in the cosy, rustic interior or out on the delightful terrace. Tip: Be sure to reserve, especially at the weekend. For lunch, a small daily lunch menu is available (1-2pm); in the afternoon, there are freshly baked waffles, house-made cakes and coffee specialities. What a great place to spend the Christmas - or any other holiday! The rooms are spacious and well equipped and also super clean and tidy as you would expect in Germany. The food in restaurant was simply exquisite!!! A bit on the pricy side and the breakfast did not meet our high expectations, but then again our expectations were high due to the room rate and the famous restaurant. Will we be back? Most certainly...

We spent 5 nights at the Ole Liese and had a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable stay. The location is beautiful with lovely walks and cycle opportunities from the doorstep. We were in the more modern building opposite the main hotel and had a tastefully decorated and spacious room. The staff at all levels were all very welcoming, polite and helpful. The restaurant has a good range of dishes (some higher end, some comfort food) and at different price levels -- despite the quality of the food it never felt stuffy or pretentious. The breakfasts were nicely done and the apricot and cherry jams outstanding! Highly recommended.

We spent 4 nights in this beautiful hotel and restaurant. Situated in an ancient farmhouse with nice surroundings including a charming castle. The two restaurants are excellent, the service is friendly. The rooms are comfortable. We will surly come back.

This place is just magical. The restaurant, the area the staff and the food. We spent there one night and I already want to go back. You can rent the super cool myBoo bikes which are handcrafted in Ghana and go for a trip to the beach through beauty of landscape. I feel like I have been on a one week vacation. So relaxing and magical. Thank you ever so much to the whole team of Ole Liese!!

On the occasion of my husband‘s birthday I booked 2 nights on ‚Gut Panker‘. Just a few things only were not ok but not worth mentioning. All others were perfect espec. the meals and the friendlyness and service-orientation of the staff. Also the meeting with Volker Fuhrwerk as well as with his ‚Ladychef of the Garden‘ (Andrea) was a great pleasure. Thks to all for such a enjoyable time at ‚Gut Panker‘ - will definitely come back!

This place is a hidden gem close to the coast of the Baltic Sea. The hotel is a charming and very comfortable place to stay for those who are looking for a quiet, romantic location with excellent food, lovely rooms and a friendly service. The rooms are all named after famous wine; in the restaurant who get next to your superb breakfast, lunch or dinner a choice of excellent wines. Some of Prince of Hessen, which can be bought at the place. The setting among the beautiful Trakehner horses, yellow fields of rape, old trees, blue skies, and the sea on the horizon is unbeatable.||I m coming back!!

Stayed 2x on our trip to Sweden and back and were amazed by the beauty of this place! The whole setting is breathtaking!|Staff very friendly, rooms light and spacey, dog friendly, Restaurant FANTASTIC! We were in the Ole Liese Stube and had the best Duck of my life! :) The surroundings are beautiful to stroll around and relax. And the closeness to the ferrie in Puttgarden makes it a great stop on the way to the north. Thumbs up! We'll be definitively coming back!
