Marigolds and sweet breads mark Day of the Dead in Mexico

"Housed inside the iconic Parián passageway off the main avenue of Mexico City's Roma Norte neighborhood, the hotel will adorn its façade with hundreds of cempasúchil flowers, handcrafted ceramic elements and candles in a non-traditional installation by floral arrangers Artistería in collaboration with Cerveza Victoria, illuminated in the brewery's signature burnt red coloring." - David Shortell

Hotel Parian (Cuauhtémoc, Mexico City) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Mexico City’s Pasaje Parián is a shopping mall, yes, but that means something different in Roma Norte than it would in King of Prussia or Sherman Oaks; imagine a smaller, Porfirian-era New World equivalent to Milan’s Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and you’re on much firmer ground. Not only is it an authentic local landmark, but upstairs from its retailers and restaurants you’ll find Hotel Parián, the first hotel in Mexico by the Lark Hospitality brand." - Tablet Hotels

I stayed her with my teen boys and husband. The concierge was exceptional. Every question and every need I had was responded to quickly and politely. The noise did not bother us although we were out late and tired by the time we returned to the room. The rooms were clean and spacious. The decor was simple and smart. The terraza was a relaxing place to enjoy breakfast, tacos, and coffee. The location was perfect! We also felt safe around the hotel and in nearby neighborhoods. We will be back and we will spreads the word!

Awesome stay in a super cool little neigbourhood. We were there for work purposes, but the space enabled us to enjoy some downtime there too and experience a couple of the amazing restaurants immediately on the hotel's doorstep. The service is 5* - such a great team. Our only small niggle was the noise at night - maybe the rooms could be enhanced with some soundproofing!? Otherwise we loved it!

After having a terrible experience at a VRBO nearby, we needed a better place to land for the remainder of the trip. Days prior, we had stumbled upon this hotel and were sad it hadn’t come up on our search when we were booking places. Well, it all worked out because our VRBO had mold and we had to vacate and Hotel Parian was there to the rescue. When I tell you, the service alone deserves 10 stars! From remembering who we were daily, checking in on us, and going above and beyond to upgrade us (because of our terrible experience at the VRBO). Not to mention, one of our friends traveling with us was celebrating a birthday and surprised him with a full cake. The location is fantastic and convenient. It’s quite lively given the market structure of the building. They have great restaurant options below and have lots nearby as well. The breakfast is continental which was perfect for us because it allowed us to visit all the local bakeries, guilt free. The rooms are cozy, but comfortable, and the room service was top notch. Staff were always kind and incredibly helpful. I will recommend this hotel to everyone I know visiting this amazing city and when we do come back, we will 100% be staying here again!

We love our time at Hotel Parian. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. Jay, Megan and Carlos were all incredible. The location is stellar. Incredible bars, restaurants, and shops. The architecture in the area is beautiful, and the hotel itself is a standout attraction. We look forward to returning!

Wonderful experience! The staff was so welcoming and helpful. I loved how central Hotel Parian is. It's definitely a great spot that's near a lot of restaurants and bars, so keep that in mind. I highly recommend this place for younger travelers that want to explore and have their stay close by.

The noise in this hotel is insane. Your room overlooks an open terrace - above a handful of restaraunts. The restaraunts play bumping nightclub level music until midnight. It's an enclosed building with roof, so it's like your staying in a nigthclub. Who ever thought this was even remotely ok for a hotel that people are supposed to sleep in. If you're not on a bachelor party where you'll be out past midnight every night - I'd say find somewhere else.

Much to see and do nearby. Lots of excellent restaurants and bars. We walked everywhere. Uber is available in minutes if needed. Staff was very helpful.

Beautiful hotel and the perfect location for people interested in exploring the city and being central to the urban culture México city has to offer. Perfect to explore the city.
