Hotel Plesnik

What a wonderful hotel, what a gem! This hotel is located in the Slovenian mountains with absolutely breathtaking views. You are literally in a valley surrounded by huge mountains right at your footsteps. The energy of this place is incredible, you can really feel its power. The hotel is extremely quiet, with nothing to disturb you at all. When we stayed there it was snowing, and the white landscape around us was simply magical. The view from the room was stunning. We booked a King Room, which was really beautiful and very spacious. It was divided into two areas, a seating area and a sleeping area, separated by a curtain. There was also a small balcony with an amazing view. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was also very nice. There are plenty of storage space and many closets. There was a mini fridge as well. As a lovely surprise, we were given special, beautiful slippers which I still happily wear at home. The hotel is a historical place that has been run by the Plesnik family for many years, which gives it a very special atmosphere. The spa is very nice, clean and cozy. I had a massage and I absolutely loved it. The therapist was very professional and clearly very experienced. The restaurant is excellent. The staff were extremely helpful, especially with my food allergies, and they accommodated everything perfectly. The food was delicious, made from local produce and offered at very fair prices. The reception team was always friendly, welcoming and smiling. There are many hiking trails around the hotel. In winter it is a bit harder to explore them, but we still managed to go for short walks. I truly hope to come back in summer to enjoy longer hikes. Dogs are very welcome here and everyone is genuinely happy to see guests with pets. This hotel is a must-visit if you are in the area. We will definitely return.

My friends and I stayed at Hotel Plesnik and had a wonderful time. We stayed for two days and two nights. It was a beautiful time of year to visit and experience the hanging of colors. The drive up was beautiful and to see all of the colors and landscape. Driving up to the hotel is like looking at a painting. It doesn't look real! It's truly breathtaking. Customer Service: The customer service from everyone at the hotel was stellar from start to finish. Check-in was easy and quick We also received a welcome drink which was one of their homemade liquors. During dinner and anytime we walked in into the main area with three receptionist desk, everyone was all smiles and welcoming. Accommodations: Our room was in the third floor and we had a great view of the Alps, the hotel main entrance and the other cabins. The room was spacious for three of us, had a large balcony and the shower was wonderful. We received towels, ribes, slippers and welcome chocolates. Food: We got the meal package with our stay. It included breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast was eurupean style with fresh bread, meats, cheeses, jams, cereal and eggs. There were several options for coffee and juices. Breakfast was a huge treat!! Lunch waa nice and light. Typically a soup, salad and a variety bread. The dinner was four courses, you selected your meal from a menu provided, and it was fresh, local food. (see pictures) Spa: The spa wad one of the highlights of this hotel. It was large and beautifully designed. We all got massages and I absolutely loved mine. If you're getting a massage, ask for Barbara or Maya. All three of us enjoyed our massages and would have gotten another service if time allowed. Before or after your services, the spa is a beautiful place to relax and read or take a nap. (see pictures) We got out for a brisk walk and took lots of fantastic photos. I would highly recommend this hotel for any spaceial occasion or yo get away from the city and enjoy the beauty of the great outdoors.

I took a group here to do yoga for 5 nights. The rooms were beautiful, the meals were delicious and the scenery breathtaking. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. The sauna, steam and jacuzzi were a wonderful way to end each day. Dinners were a culinary treat taking around 3 hours as we sat on rhe large balcony watching the sun set over the mountains. The yoga space is well equipped and airy and filled with the sound of the nearby by waterfall. Cannot say enough, a must visit.

The most beautiful place I have literally ever seen. The service is great, and so is the food. The Michelin chef was out sick when we were there for our honeymoon, so we went with the half board meal, and my husband and I decided that it tasted like someone's Slovenian grandmother was back there crafting every dish, while her son who went to culinary school and knew his stuff plated it. Go for thw mountain view! We have only been gone a day and already miss it. I have honest to G-d never been to a place I loved more.

The hotel’s location is excellent, the food is tasty and homemade, the rooms are clean, and the reception staff is friendly. However, the water in the jacuzzi was cold and couldn’t be used, so only the saunas were available from the spa area. The pillows were uncomfortable. We also had an unpleasant experience at breakfast – the waiter asked us to move to another room because we were not guests of the main hotel, even though we were told before booking that everything is the same for both the villa and the hotel.

My only complaint is that we only booked one night here…. We should’ve booked at least 2 or 3!!! Wow! This place was amazing. The front desk girl was so accommodating upon arrival, the room & bathroom was amazing and had amazing views, the restaurant was AMAZING, and my husband and I fell asleep in the spa room after dinner! I have never felt more relaxed. I wish we would have had time to hike the valley and utilize the spa more, but we will definitely be back. Thank you, Plesnik! ♥️

Beautiful hotel in amazing sourroundings. The wellness centre is lovely, with a stunning outdoor eco pool and large indoor spa pool. The dinner menu is a grastronomical delight, with paired local wines. If you have dinner with them they provide a free lunch. It is a wonderful experience!!!

Hotel Plesnik is a truly wonderful place in the heart of Logarska Valley. The location is breathtaking, surrounded by green fields, mountains, and a nearby waterfall – absolutely perfect for a peaceful getaway. The wellness area is beautiful and relaxing, and breakfast was excellent. Dinner options were fantastic as well, with high-quality food. The only downside is the very high price per night, but overall, the experience was unforgettable.
