Hotel Quintessence (Tremblant, Quebec) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The age of the boutique ski hotel is upon us. While the typical North American mountain resort counts rooms by the hundreds, Quintessence, on the shores of Quebec’s Lake Tremblant, numbers just thirty suites — though surely they had space for more, as each spans at least 700 square feet, they went for the ultra-luxury approach." - Tablet Hotels

Hotel Quintessence | Best ski hotels in North America

"This intimate all-suite hotel is set among landscaped grounds on the shores of Lake Tremblant, a short walk from the Express gondola. Renowned for its outstanding service, a ski valet drops guests’ equipment close to the lift, while a log valet fires up in-room fireplaces for their return. The hotel’s signature French restaurant is one of Tremblant’s chicest, with inventive dishes including foie gras ice cream. The wine bar is excellent too, with a 6,000-bottle cellar and certified sommeliers on hand to give tastings. The outdoor infinity pool, with its sweeping lake views, boasts one of the best vantage points in the whole of Mont Tremblant. " - Nicola Iseard

My wife and I spent two nights at Hotel Quintessence and had a fabulous time. Many of the other reviews touch on the size and quality of the rooms, as well as the restaurant food… so I won’t repeat that.||I will emphasize two things:|1. Despite being just a few steps away from the main village of Tremblant, this resort feels very quiet and secluded. |2. The staff are really fantastic, very friendly people who obviously care about the guest at the hotel. Cannot say enough good things about everyone we dealt with.||Overall our stay was fantastic and I would highly recommend the resort to anyone looking for a luxury experience at Tremblant.

It is definitely the best hotel in Tremblant. They treated me like gold. The accommodations are superior. The rooms are gorgeous and spacious, overlooking the lake. The staff are professional and courteous. The grounds are immaculate. The restaurant has top-notch food/service. I had the best time. I will definitely return.

I had a truly memorable stay at Hôtel Quintessence. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the beautiful architecture and warm, inviting ambiance of the hotel. The attention to detail in both the exterior and interior design is stunning — the stonework, wood beams, and cozy décor create an elegant yet relaxing atmosphere. My suite was spacious, clean, and offered a breathtaking view of the lake from the balcony. Waking up to the sunrise over the water was one of the highlights of the trip. The room had everything I needed and more — comfort, charm, and peace. The on-site dining was also a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed a fresh and flavorful salad, beautifully presented and full of vibrant ingredients. The restaurant staff were attentive and courteous, making the meal even more enjoyable. Lastly, it was a nice touch to see the hotel recognized with a Michelin plaque — well deserved. Overall, this is a perfect getaway for anyone looking to relax in luxury with a touch of nature. Highly recommended!

This place is truly special! Beautiful hotel at the most beautiful setting. The bedroom was huge and had a nice view of the lake from its private balcony. The bed was one of the most comfortable bed ever!!! It just sucks you in! The bathroom was huge and super nice! The only thing missing from the room was a nice minibar. The fridge was empty! We had breakfast at the restaurant and the food was good. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5-star rating was because of the service. Except for Juan Carlos who was extremely helpful at check-in, the rest of the service was a bit messy. There was nobody to take our orders at the pool. The people at the reception desk didn’t know much about what to do at the village and how to get to the trails we wanted to do. We had to figure it out ourselves. Service at breakfast was nice but slow.

The Quintessence Hotel is absolutely stunning — a place that transports you back in time with its elegant charm and cozy atmosphere. Overlooking the serene lake, the setting is both peaceful and breathtaking. The restaurant is full of character, warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The terrace is a highlight, offering beautiful lake views in a calm and relaxed ambiance. I only stopped in for a coffee and a dessert — the trio sorbet — and it was truly one of the best sorbets I’ve ever had. The staff was kind, attentive, and highly professional throughout. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and beautiful experience in Mont Tremblant. I didn’t stay overnight, so I can’t speak for the rooms, but I had to rate them in order to leave this review.

Stayed for a week with my fiance and it was so lovely. The hotel is beautiful and all suites have a gorgeous view of the lake. Our room was huge and spacious with a fireplace (that we used in late July!) and an awesome soaker tub. The food and drinks at the restaurant were delicious and the staff were all so helpful and accommodating. It was a quick 5 minute walk into the Mont Tremblant village, so you're close to everything. I can't wait to visit again!

We go to Mont Tremblant every year and stay in the pedestrian village. I've always wondered about this hotel since the pictures are really beautiful, and Ive heard great things about the restaurant, also at $750/night we wanted to see if it would be worth it. So my husband and I decided to go for a walk and check it out. Walked around the property and the view of the lake is beautiful, the pool looked really nice, and we thought we could really stay here, it looks so beautiful and serene. Until we came across a ton of what looked like dog poop along the path by the pool. And I mean it was everywhere, and it wasn't a dog park. I'm sorry but do people not pick up after their dogs here? And if that's the case do the staff not pick this shit up??🤯 WTH?? Made a beeline for the exit, didn't bother checking out the lobby or the rest of the facility...what a shame. We were so disappointed ☹️

Google
Exceptionally superb experience from start to finish! From Sebastian our valet, Nellie at reception, Audrey and Olivier at drinks/dinner, we felt like family and like we'd been staying there for years. The property, the spa, the meals were all top-shelf. Recommended without reservation! Cheers, David & Alison

Yelp
It's my growing family's tradition to go to Mont-Tremblant for my birthday. This time, it was different we not only celebrated my birthday but I got a much deserved baby moon getaway. When you first arrive, the concierge meets you out of your car and brings your luggages in and after you give him the car key he parks it. He brought us to the reception desk and the agent was very friend and informative, we asked if we could have the top floor and she said "we have arranged for a top floor room already" as she gave me the key. The concierge took us upstairs to our room, also letting us know of the hotel amenities. The concierge opened the door to our room and let us in. Once you enter the room, there's jazz music playing in the background and a personalized note, greeting you. The key to the mini bar are provided when you arrive by the front desk. There's a modern coffee maker with some coffee pods and the mugs are in a heated drawer. While your exploring your room, the concierge is making the fire. The room was elegantly decorated with some touches of rustic chic. Our room was open concept so you could have a relaxing bubble bath while enjoying the view. The washroom is set up with everything needed (mouth wash, shower caps, soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion+ There's a nice tub with jets and a luxurious shower. The floor is heated for your convenience and to access the toilet just open the door (better for privacy). The room is well equipped, there's lots of outlet and the clock can charge iphones, there's s steep and a tv but since we went there to relax we did not turn on the tv at all. The bed is super comfy (king size) andnit come with a cotton duvet (+duvet cover). The pillows are all down and there's extra pillows in the closet. There's snacks at the snack bar but obviously it's to be purchased. So snack on at own risk, there's vodka, wine and champagne but just imagine the price tag). We used the restaurant and their customer service is on pointe, everyone is so knowledgeable of what the kitchen carries and of their wine/alcohol/cocktail selection. We were treated like royalty and most definitely will come back. Some people might not like the decor but it's probably because it's their first time visiting Mont-Tremblant and are not too familiar of the decor over there. I cannot express any further how much my husband and I loved our stay. The hotel emailed me to follow up on our visit and I just told them that we will come back in May to celebrate our wedding anniversary and our baby. A big thank you to the staff at the Quintessence resort!

Yelp
Probably one of the most amazing hotels I have ever stayed in. My fiancée and I got engaged here and every little detail was perfect. We stayed in between foliage and ski season, and the fireplace and outdoor jacuzzi are just as nice at that time of year. The chef's tasting menu in the hotel restaurant is mind blowing.

Yelp
The massage from Diane was a magical experience. Firm. She knows what she is doing. Your body will thank you for every minute of it. 5 stars. Bravo! I would come back to Mont Tremblant just for the massage. The blue illuminated pool outside the waiting area is a nice touch too. The frozen ice lake with a couple lonesome ice skaters beyond the pool is even nicer.

Yelp
This review is for the hotel. The rooms are all suites and are great. There is a sitting area with a fireplace. Comfy bed and on suite with separate toilet room and shower plus a whirlpool tub. First rate five star room. The entire hotel feels like a classy lodge. The pool and spa area is downstairs along with the gym. Each room has a view of the lake. The entire experience is first rate and very charming. We would defiantly recommend and will certainly stay here next time we visit the area.

Yelp
Yes, this is the 5-star hotel in Mont-Tremblant. It's everything you need for a nice romantic stay outside the buzz of the main tourist area, but within a short walking distance. The rooms are lovely, the bath tub large enough for 2, and the shower a spa-like experience. Our room had an added seating area with fireplace and a large balcony overlooking the pool and lake. Service was top notch, from the valet 5/5 to check in 5/5 to our very clean room 5/5. No complaints here. We will be back.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel, but I wouldn't say the service is 5 star. They are trying but just missing it. When checking in, it felt like the valet and bell boy were trying to size us up as to our financial situation. We also asked for a lift back from dinner, a 1 km drive, when the hotel was very quiet, but they said sorry you will have to cab. Also, the service at the hotel restaurants was sub-par. I waited 30 minutes to have someone come over so that I could order a cappuccino at the average breakfast buffet, it took another 15 to actually get it, and it wasn't very good. They have the potential, but they definitely could improve.

Yelp
The hotel is nice, the staff was very accommodating they never said no. We stayed in the penthouse suite for a Ferrari event, the suite has a private jacuzzi and 2 balconies with amazing views of the resort and lake. It also has 3 fire places which was very nice. The staff comes up and lights them within moments of your request. The food is probably the only part we didn't care for although breakfast was great. Location wise it's perfect, a nice short walk to everything yet still private.

Yelp
Nothing beats sitting outside the wine cellar in the oversized chairs near the fireplace. Good food and amazing wine list.

Yelp
Have stayed here several times, and each time I wonder why I have ever stayed anywhere else in Tremblant Village. Mt. Tremblant, QC is a fantastic area (have only been in summer/fall) The Gondola through the village, the live music....great area...and this is the Best Hotel around, it's on the shores of the lake. Idyllic.

Yelp
Loved this place so much that we are bringing our two daughters with their respective families next January!!

Yelp
amazing hotel that my family has stayed at many times. sits at the bottom of the mountain with a 3-5 minute walk to the adorable town. only problem we had this time was the tv working. they made us lots of vegan options for food which made us extremely happy.

Yelp
If you want to feel as if you're a guest at a country estate, that just happens to be on a magnificent lake, check this place out. The layout is designed to give the impression of walking into a private home. No reception desk, no bell hop stand. A driveway leads up to a covered entrance that leads in to a magnificent open sitting room - cathedral ceiling, huge stone fire place and french doors leading to the terrace, which overlooks the pool and lake. The entire place is laid out to give guests the feeling of privacy - even the hallways make you feel like you're only one of a handful of guests. The room (actually a suite) had a fireplace, terrace, 5 star ammenities and a bathroom that I kept going into, even 'tho I didn't need to use it! There's a small dining room, as well as a private dining room for larger groups. The entire time I felt like I was a guest in some benevolent billionaire's country manor house. And the staff is surreal. They just seem to appear as you think you might need something. Leave your room for a few hours and when you come back, everything is fluffed up. They mastered the art of perfect service - they take care of your every need, and at the same time, are completely unobtrusive. Not cheap, but well worth the splurge. Don't think I've ever felt so spoiled.
