My wife and I and two kids (11 and 8) went to Quintessence last year around Christmas. It was so good that we went back this year and the experience was equally amazing. The hotel is expensive, but it delivers. You will not be dissatisfied. The food is top notch. Breakfast is exceptional as is the breakfast service. Dinner is equally amazing. The valets take care of you properly, and are delightful to interact with. Your ski gear is handled for you. When you come back from a day of skiing, there is hot chocolate waiting. Every level of service in this hotel is top notch - from the front desk, to the valets, the people who clean your rooms, and the restaurant staff. I just cannot say enough about this place. My only hesitation in leaving this review is that it might get the word out and I won’t be able to get a reservation. Haha! We’re already booking in advance for next year. Thank you so much for everything Quintessence we love your hotel and your staff.

5-Star Luxury Hotel experience ! we stayed for 6 nights and it was an incredible experience. the staff: nelly, abdul, sheila, the ladies at the spa, and the restaurant staff: audrey, all respectful, warm, welcoming, attentive and made us feel special for the whole stay. no request was rejected, no question un-answered. we were nervous initially as it was a 5-star stay / higher class hotel-stay, and we don't have much experience at these styles of accommodation, but now i understand the value of such a hotel. everyone was friendly, and not at all snobby which i was afraid of. the location was breathtaking, the welcome box of chocolates with a personal note, the wood burning fireplace, the spa was lovely in the cold, the wild turkeys were fun ( or are they wild guinea fowl ?? ) and that gentle one-horned deer that hung around, so lovely. highly recommend !

We traveled to The Quintessence at Mont Tremblant for our wedding anniversary and had a simply wonderful time. It is a beautiful hotel, restaurant, and spa in a gorgeous location. This was our first time in Mont Tremblant, and we had such a great time we hope to return next summer. This hotel embraces hospitality, and has an outstanding, friendly and ultra welcoming and professional staff. As fairly experienced travelers, I’d say the Quintessence deserves every one of its five stars. Our room was so comfortable, with amazing views, cozy fireplace, and plenty of space, it was tempting to stay in and just enjoy. Delicious breakfasts, romantic dinners—the food and wine were superb. We recommend The Hotel Quintessence to all. We truly felt at home, and applaud the owners and staff of this great place❤️

Unquestionably, this is one of the finest hotels we have stayed at both in North America and Europe. We are finishing almost a week here at Hotel Quintessence and the service, attention to detail, food, and genuine interest the entire hotel team expresses is very special. ||The difference between the corporate chains (we’ve stayed at many of the higher grade hotels…and they are very nice) is apparent and appreciated. There is no substitute for independently held five star resorts.||Last year, we were in Rome and stayed at the Hassler Hotel, also independently owned for more than 100 years. When we left we were pretty sure duplicating that level of perfection would be very tough. ||However, if we close our eyes, the attention to details, service and beauty are the duplicated here in Mont Tremblant. The level of effort it takes to consistently deliver this type of experience, with cheer…has not escaped us. Many thanks for an excellent stay.

I love staying at The Quintessence Hotel because of their amazing location in the heart of Mont Tremblant and their Staff are exceptional from the remarkable Doorman who greet you to the Concierge. Upgrades need to be done in the bedrooms like amenities in the bathrooms and device wireless charging stations and even the TV. The beds are super comfortable including the bedding. The coffee is not very good and needs improvement but the Staff in the Restaurant are excellent.

its our 6th year coming to this hotel and each year it becomes more special. The hotel’s ambiance is wonderfully relaxing, making it the ideal getaway for birthdays or any celebration. What truly stands out is the amazing staff; they go above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. From the warm welcome to the attentive service, we felt truly pampered throughout our stay. One of our favourite experiences was booking a massage in our suite—it was the perfect way to unwind and enjoy some quality time together.

This is a beautiful property overlooking the lake. The service and staff were impeccable. It's a one minute walk to the village which is preferable to me - quiet. I should mention that we were there during a slow week. Perhaps during peak season, when everything is full of families, it would not have been as pleasant. Amenities are first class and they thought of everything for your comfort and pleasure. The on-site restaurant was excellent.

We had a dinner reservation at the hotel, which we made several months in advance. When making the reservation, we were not asked about our seating preference. Upon arriving on time for our dinner, we requested to be seated at a particular table that was vacant, but the host refused, stating that the table was reserved for another guest. This was quite disappointing, especially since we had made our reservation well in advance and no indication was given that certain tables were reserved exclusively for other patrons. As a result, we canceled our reservation for the remainder of our stay and left with a bad impression. Why the Restaurant Manager’s Decision Was Wrong: The manager's decision not to allow us to sit at the table of our choice was unreasonable for several reasons: Lack of Transparency: We were not informed of any specific seating restrictions when we made our reservation months ago. If certain tables are reserved or prioritized for other guests, that should have been communicated to us in advance to manage expectations. Guest Experience: Customer satisfaction is paramount in the hospitality industry, especially in a hotel restaurant where guests may be looking for a particular experience. Denying a reasonable request for a vacant table undermines the guest experience and can lead to dissatisfaction, as it did in our case. Poor Reservation Management: If the table was indeed reserved for another guest, better reservation management could have ensured that all guests' preferences were accommodated. Given that the table was vacant upon our arrival, there was an opportunity to be flexible and enhance our experience, which the manager chose not to do. Negative Impact on Business: By refusing a simple request, the restaurant not only lost our business for the rest of our stay but also potentially damaged its reputation, as negative experiences tend to be shared more widely among other potential customers. Overall, the manager's decision appeared inflexible and inconsiderate, leaving us with a negative impression of an otherwise anticipated dining experience.

Yelp
It's my growing family's tradition to go to Mont-Tremblant for my birthday. This time, it was different we not only celebrated my birthday but I got a much deserved baby moon getaway. When you first arrive, the concierge meets you out of your car and brings your luggages in and after you give him the car key he parks it. He brought us to the reception desk and the agent was very friend and informative, we asked if we could have the top floor and she said "we have arranged for a top floor room already" as she gave me the key. The concierge took us upstairs to our room, also letting us know of the hotel amenities. The concierge opened the door to our room and let us in. Once you enter the room, there's jazz music playing in the background and a personalized note, greeting you. The key to the mini bar are provided when you arrive by the front desk. There's a modern coffee maker with some coffee pods and the mugs are in a heated drawer. While your exploring your room, the concierge is making the fire. The room was elegantly decorated with some touches of rustic chic. Our room was open concept so you could have a relaxing bubble bath while enjoying the view. The washroom is set up with everything needed (mouth wash, shower caps, soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion+ There's a nice tub with jets and a luxurious shower. The floor is heated for your convenience and to access the toilet just open the door (better for privacy). The room is well equipped, there's lots of outlet and the clock can charge iphones, there's s steep and a tv but since we went there to relax we did not turn on the tv at all. The bed is super comfy (king size) andnit come with a cotton duvet (+duvet cover). The pillows are all down and there's extra pillows in the closet. There's snacks at the snack bar but obviously it's to be purchased. So snack on at own risk, there's vodka, wine and champagne but just imagine the price tag). We used the restaurant and their customer service is on pointe, everyone is so knowledgeable of what the kitchen carries and of their wine/alcohol/cocktail selection. We were treated like royalty and most definitely will come back. Some people might not like the decor but it's probably because it's their first time visiting Mont-Tremblant and are not too familiar of the decor over there. I cannot express any further how much my husband and I loved our stay. The hotel emailed me to follow up on our visit and I just told them that we will come back in May to celebrate our wedding anniversary and our baby. A big thank you to the staff at the Quintessence resort!

Yelp
Probably one of the most amazing hotels I have ever stayed in. My fiancée and I got engaged here and every little detail was perfect. We stayed in between foliage and ski season, and the fireplace and outdoor jacuzzi are just as nice at that time of year. The chef's tasting menu in the hotel restaurant is mind blowing.

Yelp
The massage from Diane was a magical experience. Firm. She knows what she is doing. Your body will thank you for every minute of it. 5 stars. Bravo! I would come back to Mont Tremblant just for the massage. The blue illuminated pool outside the waiting area is a nice touch too. The frozen ice lake with a couple lonesome ice skaters beyond the pool is even nicer.

Yelp
This review is for the hotel. The rooms are all suites and are great. There is a sitting area with a fireplace. Comfy bed and on suite with separate toilet room and shower plus a whirlpool tub. First rate five star room. The entire hotel feels like a classy lodge. The pool and spa area is downstairs along with the gym. Each room has a view of the lake. The entire experience is first rate and very charming. We would defiantly recommend and will certainly stay here next time we visit the area.

Yelp
Yes, this is the 5-star hotel in Mont-Tremblant. It's everything you need for a nice romantic stay outside the buzz of the main tourist area, but within a short walking distance. The rooms are lovely, the bath tub large enough for 2, and the shower a spa-like experience. Our room had an added seating area with fireplace and a large balcony overlooking the pool and lake. Service was top notch, from the valet 5/5 to check in 5/5 to our very clean room 5/5. No complaints here. We will be back.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel, but I wouldn't say the service is 5 star. They are trying but just missing it. When checking in, it felt like the valet and bell boy were trying to size us up as to our financial situation. We also asked for a lift back from dinner, a 1 km drive, when the hotel was very quiet, but they said sorry you will have to cab. Also, the service at the hotel restaurants was sub-par. I waited 30 minutes to have someone come over so that I could order a cappuccino at the average breakfast buffet, it took another 15 to actually get it, and it wasn't very good. They have the potential, but they definitely could improve.

Yelp
The hotel is nice, the staff was very accommodating they never said no. We stayed in the penthouse suite for a Ferrari event, the suite has a private jacuzzi and 2 balconies with amazing views of the resort and lake. It also has 3 fire places which was very nice. The staff comes up and lights them within moments of your request. The food is probably the only part we didn't care for although breakfast was great. Location wise it's perfect, a nice short walk to everything yet still private.

Yelp
Nothing beats sitting outside the wine cellar in the oversized chairs near the fireplace. Good food and amazing wine list.

Yelp
Have stayed here several times, and each time I wonder why I have ever stayed anywhere else in Tremblant Village. Mt. Tremblant, QC is a fantastic area (have only been in summer/fall) The Gondola through the village, the live music....great area...and this is the Best Hotel around, it's on the shores of the lake. Idyllic.

Yelp
If you want to feel as if you're a guest at a country estate, that just happens to be on a magnificent lake, check this place out. The layout is designed to give the impression of walking into a private home. No reception desk, no bell hop stand. A driveway leads up to a covered entrance that leads in to a magnificent open sitting room - cathedral ceiling, huge stone fire place and french doors leading to the terrace, which overlooks the pool and lake. The entire place is laid out to give guests the feeling of privacy - even the hallways make you feel like you're only one of a handful of guests. The room (actually a suite) had a fireplace, terrace, 5 star ammenities and a bathroom that I kept going into, even 'tho I didn't need to use it! There's a small dining room, as well as a private dining room for larger groups. The entire time I felt like I was a guest in some benevolent billionaire's country manor house. And the staff is surreal. They just seem to appear as you think you might need something. Leave your room for a few hours and when you come back, everything is fluffed up. They mastered the art of perfect service - they take care of your every need, and at the same time, are completely unobtrusive. Not cheap, but well worth the splurge. Don't think I've ever felt so spoiled.

Yelp
This place has the amazing ability to be both charming and grand. Amazing concierge service they are extremely helpful and knowledgable. Our room is unbelievable.
