Hotel Real Colegiata San Isidoro

This hotel is lovely, very atmospheric and the history is fascinating. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is good. The location makes exploring the old town very easy. While here, my daughter became very ill, the night reception staff member was an absolute hero, he called the ambulance, handed me his phone, brought fresh towels at 5.30 in the morning. His support and kindness meant the world to us. Thank you so much.

Very comfortable hotel in a renovated convent within the walls of the historic centre. We stayed for 2 nights immediately after Christmas and the hotel was very busy with the hotel handlling the number of guests very well. Car parking is available in the hotel's grounds. There are many restaurants and bars in easy walking distance

Good location and staff, it is interesting to see they dont make enough use of the monastery theme it is literally the same complex with the San Isidora. Rooms are ok, breakfast decent and booking via their own website was easy and hassle free. We would stay here again.

Do yourself a favour . Treat yourself to one of the better rooms overlooking the courtyard when they have a live concert . I don’t write reviews unless places we visit are terrible or amazing .. this was one of the best stays of my life . I wish I could describe the dinner and the romance of laying in bed with the light off listening to the guitarist sing to us through our open window. We had the Noviembre room . We will be back for sure .. Christmas would be nice as well . Seriously an affordable special treat you won’t ever forget. ||Getting into the hotel car park is easy when you know exactly how to get in . I’ve photographed the car park to make that tiny flaw easier . I want you to enjoy this as much as we did . Literally a tear for how perfect this visit has been . Completly unexpected as Leon doesn’t come with a lot of information . Lots and lots of typical bars full of locals in walking distance . I just don’t know what could beat this experience .

Perfect location, just at the heart of the old town. The room was fine, comfortable. It's the experience of staying in an old monastery (small part is still a monastery). Breakfast was nice, fresh products and selection of food available.

Truly a beautiful place. If you want to live in old digs you will like it but do know this. The air conditioning they claim to have is worthless. As is most of it in all of Europe. I stay usually in US owned hotels only because they are the only ones that actually “get” air conditioning. We stayed two nights here in June and they were the hottest nights I have ever had in a hotel. We both sweat all night. Got zero sleep. The air conditioners they have are pitiful and a total waste. If you like sleeping in a sauna make your reservations here! If you like sleeping cool pass it up. The lowest the AC is allows to go here is 20.5 or about 70 degrees. But ours never made it past 22.5. EVER. No matter what. You might as well camp out. I would never stay here again

Room very warm, so asked at reception, who said air conditioner does not work at the hotel (May 2025). They just shrugged their shoulders as if a customer has to accept! Not good enough. Do bit recommend.

Magical place . Small rooms honouring the history of the building. Service was great. Breakfast was great. A shame that I couldn't have dinner with a show in the magnificent courtyard. A memorable experience.
