"Run with great dedication, this friendly, family-owned restaurant is located at a slight remove from the city centre, close to the train station, but it's well worth making the detour for the excellent food. The cuisine is regional, seasonal and pleasingly down-to-earth. Their appealing range of dishes includes venison ragout with bread dumplings and chanterelles, as well as delicious desserts such asTopfenknödel(curd dumplings). Order à la carte or opt for the set menu, which comprises three to five courses – a vegetarian version is also available. Very friendly, family run hotel, short walk from the old town. Close to the railway station but excellent insulation meant you don’t hear anything. Excellent breakfast, lovely comfortable rooms, and always a smiling welcome.

Lovely, quiet place. I had an extremely comfortable stay. The hotel was even better than some of the 4-star hotel I stayed in Austria. Friendly, helpful staff. My luggage was quite heavy and I was prepared to take it up the stairs myself (no lifts here) but the staff at check-in offered to help. I told her she could take my lighter bags because my luggage was really heavy and I could handle the heavy stuff myself, but she insisted on helping me with the heavy stuff. It's a really nice gesture on her part! Kettle was clean but had a lot of limescale. That's not really a big issue though. The hotel's location was about 15 mins walk from salzburg hbf. It's much quicker to get there by bus but sometimes the bus timings aren't too regular.

Absolute 5 star service. I loved the location because it’s a little further from the business of the city center and train station, but everything is quick to get to by bus with the tourist bus pass. The rooms were fantastic, and the customer service was awesome. The front desk employee took care of all our needs and accommodated us more than she had to. This place is awesome!

Lovely staff. We arrived around 12:30pm and only had to wait 10 minutes before we could go to our room (although we arrived a little earlier than expected). We got offered something to drink and relaxed outside for a little bit. Great service. Room is clean and comfortable. It was quite warm outside but it stayed nice and cool in the room. Great location, only 10-15 minutes walk from the train station and 5 minutes walk to a bus stop. Breakfast was good as well. Would definitely come back.

Family owned hotel & restaurant. Rooms were neatly maintained and the overall vibe was cozy and comfortable. Not very close to the city center, but with a bus stop 5 mins away, it's hardly a concern. Another point to add: Although the place does not have a lift, the person from the reception was kind enough to help us get the large luggages to our room. Baby cot was arranged as well.

We had a wonderful time here. The room was spacious and beautiful with a very comfortable bed. The sofa easily accomodates a 3rd guest if needed. The room was super clean with A/C and electric shutters. The staff was very nice and the dinner we had in their restaurant was exceptional. The hotel is located near the train station (10 min. walk or 2 bus stops) which is super convenient. Downtown can be easily reached by bus (15 min ride).

Even before our arrival, the email communication was really helpful and answered all our questions. Upon arrival, even though we have arrived earlier than expected, we were welcomed to leave the baggages in the rooms and we got a helping hand in carrying them up the stairs. This cute little hotel feels like home away from home with a really nice breakfast. Our room was comfortable, intimate, quiet and clean. My only regret is that we did not dine at the in house restaurant. Maybe next time 😊
