Hotel-Restaurant Elefanten

The food was excellent as well as the service and the staff. Breakfast ist tasty and offers enough variety of fresh food. The style of the rooms is kind of old school or maybe 80s style. The colours would not have been my favorite choice. Nevertheless the room was clean. In walking distance you have several Cafés, Bars or Restaurants where you can have drinks or food.

Family owned hotel. Very big clean rooms. Other hotels would call it suite. But also very old. If you close the curtains it's dark because the lights are over the windows behind the curtains. Just a bathtub without a showercurtain. You have to hold the shower head constantly in one hand while a lot of the water splashes through the bathroom. The Breakfast (not starting before 7) was below average. Eggs only boiled. Cheese cold cuts bread rolls some fruit and cereals.|The staff (family) is very friendly.||It's okay to stay for a night or two. But I will try another hotel before returning to the Elefanten.

The kitchen is excellent, the owners are lovely. The hotel, well, it would need some refurbishing. Helas, we can't go there anymore. The restaurant, showing itself as petfriendly while doing Google researches; doesn't allow bigger dogs, like our Leonberger. (The symbolic dog breed of Leonberg, a city barely 50km away.) Even though they even have a separate dinning area, where our quiet, peaceful dog wouldn't bother anyone. What a pity! But it's ok, owners' decision; however do not qualify yourself as petfriendly!

Wir waren zu Gast im Restaurant und haben hervorragend gegessen! Zwiebelrostbraten mit weltbesten Maultaschen und extrem leckere Spätzle. Besser geht es wirklich nicht ! Die Chefin so wahnsinnig freundlich, besser geht es eigentlich nicht mehr. Ich kann es nur allerwärmstens empfehlen!

Ich bewerte ausschließlich das Hotel und nicht das Restaurant, da wir nur übernachtet haben. Leider sind die Zimmer extrem alt. Eine Renovierung wäre hier angebracht. Der alte fleckige Teppich und die Tapete sind nicht gemütlich. Allerdings ist alles extrem sauber und die Betten sind bequem. Die Gastgeber sind extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück wird am Tisch serviert und es gibt kein Buffet. Uns hat das nicht gestört, aber das sollte man vorher vielleicht mitteilen oder auf der Homepage bekannt machen, da manche das vielleicht nicht so toll finden. Insgesamt war es für eine Nacht OK, aber da die Zimmer so renovierungsbedürftig sind, würde ich nicht länger übernachten wollen. Schade, da die Gastgeberqualitäten wirklich hervorragend sind!

Wunderbares Restaurant mit herzlichen Gastgebern. Herausragende Küche, sehr zuvorkommender professioneller Service. Jedes Gericht war sehr lecker, sowohl die Vorspeise, als auch die Hauptgerichte und Desserts. Ambiente ist gemütlich. Parkplätze gibt es vor der Tür kostenlos. Die Lage ist zentral in Lauffen.
