"Located in the middle of the Parque Natural del Delta del Ebro and within a few metres of its famous rice fields, this restaurant is part of the first Ecolabel-certified hotel in Cataluña, where its quality and self-confidence ensure that it is the undisputed star of the show. Owner-chef Joan Capilla’s clear focus is on “zero-mile” ingredients, sustainability and the latest cutting-edge techniques which he combines to create his updated take on traditional cuisine. The à la carte, including an array of outstanding rice dishes, is complemented by two impressive set menus: Somos Gastronomía and Festival del Chef, both which need to be booked in advance." - Michelin Inspector

Clean, comfortable with a touch of designer style. Very pleasant stay in marvellous surroundings. Excellent restaurant with a 'touch of class'. We would recommend to anyone. We were only there for one night but would stay longer next time to explore the delta and it wonderful birdlife

Stayed 2 nights, superior room. Its very modern. Large rooms. Super comfortable. Pool area. Gym. Bike hire. Quiet. The breakfast is quality, with lovely breakfast staff. Wifi strong. Overall, it is a well run place. Also has a high rated restaurant (didn't try). Note, there is no supermarket in this town, tho, can hire a bike (3e hr or 12e day) and go to neighbouring town to buy supplies. High recommend all round.

We stayed at the Hotel L'Algadir for three nights, and could have definitely done a few more to just wind down and relax. It's a lovely place just on the edge of Poblenou, just a couple of hundred metres from the central church and bordering the rice paddies. A great base to explore the delta, in a spotless family run hotel. Tranquil, relaxed and friendly and thoroughly recommended!||The hotel has a nice airy modern feel with a small pool and sun decking, as well as a relaxing lounge. What's more, we had a meal in the restaurant one evening and the food was truly outstanding, contemporary yet with local ingredients. Breakfasts too were great with eggs/omelettes to order along with a great meat and cheese selection, bread, fresh fruits and cakes. Nice to be able to eat outside under the canvas too (or in the air conditioning). ||Our room was spacious, modern and on all nights we got a very good sleep. Blackout blinds were a nice addition, and just like the rest of the hotel our room was spotless. Nice that each of the rooms is named after a local landmark, which again gives this place a really nice feel. We also rented a couple of bikes from the hotel, which I'd also thoroughly recommend - plenty of sea and rice paddies to see with easy terrain.||So to summarise, if you're visiting the Ebro Delta, then the Hotel L'Algadir is wonderful, relaxing and based in Poblenou you've got a central location too. The family that run it obviously put a load of hard work into it, are passionate about the area and its products so is a place that deserves to do well.

Very good food but unfortunately we didn’t feel welcomed by the staff. We would expect a more attentive service from such a restaurant (missed drink orders, empty wine glasses, main dishes served at different times). The menu contained a different side than in the menu. We still liked it but expected something else.

This small hotel was impeccable. The room and bathroom were tastefully decorated and modern. The breakfast was excellent, as was the lunch we had in their restaurant (although it was a little expensive). Covid safety procedures were in place and upheld; everything was very clean. We enjoyed a dip in the small pool. It is a very small village with a couple of OK restaurants. It is well located for exploring the Delta, a short drive from a very nice beach. Great if you are looking for a quiet holiday.

Just back from our third stay at Hotel L'Algadir - we really cannot find anything negative to say. The staff are excellent and very helpful, especially the gentleman who serves breakfast every morning. He makes an excellent tortilla and café con leche. The highlight of breakfast is the copious quantity of freshly squeezed orange juice - so good we are returning later this year for more! The rooms are very nicely presented and spotlessly clean - and the air-conditioning is very effective.

We spent 6 nights at the Algadir hotel and we appreciated a lot this hotel. The room was recently renovated and was very comfortable. The breakfast was very nice. We went 4 times at the restaurant and the food was really delicious. A special thank to Joan !
