We stayed at the Hotel L'Algadir for three nights, and could have definitely done a few more to just wind down and relax. It's a lovely place just on the edge of Poblenou, just a couple of hundred metres from the central church and bordering the rice paddies. A great base to explore the delta, in a spotless family run hotel. Tranquil, relaxed and friendly and thoroughly recommended!||The hotel has a nice airy modern feel with a small pool and sun decking, as well as a relaxing lounge. What's more, we had a meal in the restaurant one evening and the food was truly outstanding, contemporary yet with local ingredients. Breakfasts too were great with eggs/omelettes to order along with a great meat and cheese selection, bread, fresh fruits and cakes. Nice to be able to eat outside under the canvas too (or in the air conditioning). ||Our room was spacious, modern and on all nights we got a very good sleep. Blackout blinds were a nice addition, and just like the rest of the hotel our room was spotless. Nice that each of the rooms is named after a local landmark, which again gives this place a really nice feel. We also rented a couple of bikes from the hotel, which I'd also thoroughly recommend - plenty of sea and rice paddies to see with easy terrain.||So to summarise, if you're visiting the Ebro Delta, then the Hotel L'Algadir is wonderful, relaxing and based in Poblenou you've got a central location too. The family that run it obviously put a load of hard work into it, are passionate about the area and its products so is a place that deserves to do well.
