"This pleasant restaurant perched on the Pointe de Penmarch serves cuisine that is rooted in the local area and made using top-notch ingredients. The chef puts a lot of effort into meticulously plating his dishes, particularly when it comes to the fish. For dessert, it's all about tradition and savoir-faire, eg the buttery kouign amann, served warm, is nicely caramelised, and soft and crispy at the same time. Lovely views over the bay and Eckmühl Lighthouse." - Michelin Inspector

Great food and good value at 35 EUR for the Dulse menu (appetizer/main/dessert). Friendly and relaxed service. Featured in Michelin’s 2023 guide, which is well deserved. The sea view is wonderful as well. Tip: after dinner, go for a walk by the coast and watch big waves crash on the rocks.

Well, what can I say? We turned up a day late – all my fault, but were greeted with great friendliness by Madame and her staff. We were given a fabulous room with views of the sea to die for. The rooms are immaculate but don’t expect tea making facilities! This is a top class “French” hotel.||The situation is quite unbelievable – we were there in cloudless blue skies and a howling gale but the views from our room and the rest of the hotel are quite staggering whatever the weather.||The food is probably the best we have eaten in France and we have been to a LOT of places. So fresh is the seafood that it almost jumps off the plate, all served with wonderful quiet efficiency by the hosts – they are too nice to called just staff. We just loved the place. We went in a 50 year old Lotus Elan made of plastic so sea air does not worry it but if you have an old Jaguar park it somewhere else or it could be a pile of rust by morning so close is the sea!||We will go back as it is a truly wonderful place to stay – top marks all round.

I’m absolutely delicious lunch. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Excellent service. And a lovely view from the dining room.

We paid a bit extra for a sea-view balcony room and it was worth every penny. To go to sleep to the flashing light of the nearby lighthouse and then to wake up in the morning and watch the fishing boats coming back into the harbor was priceless. Rooms were clean and functional and this was one of the few hotels where the WiFi worked flawlessly. Helpful staff and ample parking.

One of the best restaurants i've ever been in France! I started with a nice sea food plate. It tasted verz fresh and delicious. As a main I had a filet of a veal. I was alway a bit careful with eating veal (& beef) in France. I was surprised when this piece tasted better than in my county! Absolutely perfect. I will return and recommend.

Very nice hotel with a beautiful ocean view from our room. It was interesting to watch the time come in and go out in the harbor. Our room was on the second floor (no elevator) and was a smallish size, nicely furnished, clean and with a modern shower. Amenities include toiletries, hairdryer, TV, and wi-fi and free parking. There's a restaurant on the first floor so breakfast was not included. No kettle in the room but lots of outlets for re-charging. There are several places to eat within walking distance. We ate at the Creperie du Phare. Be sure to visit the Eckmühl lighthouse - it has a beautiful spiral staircase.

The Hotel Stern is located direct on the ocean front and the views are great! on the one side the Eckmühl Lighthouse and on the other side the small fishing harbor. The rooms are OK and very clean. The reception is perfect and helps solve all issues.

Today we had lunch at the Hotel Sterenn, it was wonderful from the moment we entered the service and food were second to none. There is a choice of set menus or a la Carter with choice to suit most budgets. If you get the chance please have the Sardines as a starter you will not regret it they were the best I have ever eaten.
