"Clinging to a rocky outcrop, Les Roches Brunes is a feast for the eyes: the hotel overlooks the sea and offers a breathtaking view of the Château royal de Collioure opposite. In the restaurant, chef Antoine Cormoretto rustles up a mouth-watering menu that brilliantly combines Italian and local produce. A bohemian-chic atmosphere set to jazzy music. A truly relaxing interlude!" - Michelin Inspector

We spent 3 nights there and was worth every $ :) Rooms are clean, neat, and nicely designed. Thing which got my attention was the air condition system placement - it was in the hall instead of directly above the bed, so you could have a pleasant temperature whole night without waking up with sore throat as in 99% of hotels :) View from the room was superb too - directly on the sea, with Collioure old town slightly on the side. Service - 5 stars. Helpful, nice, English speaking. Last but not least, the restaurant. We book a table for one dinner (you have to book well in advance, even if you're a hotel guest) and it was one of the best quality meal of our 8-days trip through southern France (attaching photos). If you have option to book a table, you definitely should do it. We checked a lot of other places in the town for lunch and dinner, and we couldn't find anything better. Only the neighboring "La Voile" could compete. If I had to think of any negatives or improvement areas, I'd say breakfast could have a bit more vegetables :) apart from that, absolutely amazing stay.

Overall our stay was nice. Clean room. Friendly staff intro to the facility. Of course the best location and views. Little bit overpriced for such small size rooms with just shower and no bath. Small parking is lil tricky. Cosmetics in a room was a good touch for more “self-spa” experience. For extra $100 we got (partially) dinner and (fully) breakfast included, which is nice deal. Dinner left a good impression. Breakfast buffet can be improved with more friendly and less micromanaging staff (Read review on Mamma restaurant). |People from neighboring room above wasn’t using ashtrays and ashes fall directly onto the neighboring balcony (which is dangerous, because there are cotton sun loungers).

We were there for the food and did not regret a second of our visit! The restaurant - that goes by the name Mamma - has awesome views, crowned with a magnificent sunset. The service was excellent. We really appreciated the way the menues were presented to us, with passion and obvious understanding of the preparations and handcraft going into each meal. And every dish we had was just superb - a creative and tastefull crossover between Italian and French kitchen. This meal was one of our highlights of our 3 weeks vacation in the region. I highly recommend a visit to this gem on the hill above Collioure...👌

This hotel manages to combine to elegance and class, with a homely feel that isn't at all imposing, but that really makes you feel comfortable. The room we stayed in had breathtaking views right across the coast, from which you could see St Cyprien and Argelès-sur-Mer. The sound of the waves crashing in against the bay is magnificent. Plenty of privacy from your balcony. The restuarant was an added bonus - the quality of breakfast and dinner was very high, and all the products were locally-sourced, from the seafood to wine, and the Catalan wines. A perfect stay in a beautiful part of the world.

We had a relaxing four-night stay here. The staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating, multi-lingual, and concerned that guests have a good time. Every room has a sea view, parking is idiosyncratic but easy, proximity to beaches and sights and restaurants is great. Breakfast is extensive, dinner on the terrace at the hotel's Mamma restaurant is reliably delicious.||||This is a new hotel, which means that all the fixtures are shiny and new, but that not all the kinks have been worked out. Wifi is available only in the public areas and not in the rooms, so, since the architecture does not permit a backstage area for staff, and since public areas bustle with kitchen prep, dining room prep, reservation staff, cleaners, as well as a multitude of competing background musics from the kitchen staff, the bar staff, finding a quiet wifi experience is not easy. I often chose to stay in my room rather than engaging with the marketplace atmosphere of the lobby.||||There is plenty of outdoor space for sunning, reading, and slipping into the Mediterranean, and the views from the rooms are unbeatable.||||The rooms are a little on the pricey side, but dining was very reasonable.

Hotel is OK, views very nice, rooms a bit small and I personally do not like the bathroom integrated in the room. Cannot wash your hands without waking up your partner. 2 main issues need serious improvement. Internet: the connection is poor at best and nonexistent most of the time. In 2022 in a 4 star hotel in an urban area is unacceptable and unexpected. Breakfast: well below expectations. No sausages, no eggs (even though they are in the menu) so except coffee nothing hot, frozen pastries overcooked in the oven, orange juice from tetra brik.. very expensive at 16 €. Not recommended.
