We spent 2 nights here and had a nice room with a balcony to the sea. Nice view and you can hear the waves at night when leaving the windows open. The room showed some minor usage here and there but was perfectly clean and service was good.
Staff was friendly and the restaurant is overlooking the harbour.
You can easily walk into town in about 10-15 minutes. They have parking but it's a bit of a squeeze, especially for larger cars (e.g. SUVs).
They have their own access to the sea via some stairs, but no beach - you can swim tough and then relax on one of the terraces.
The room fridge had free drinks and was refilled while we stayed, and there is a boiler and a capsule coffee machine.
The food and wine was great, the breakfast was good - but two parts really need improvement:
1. the tea was undrinkable, because the hot water coming from the coffee machine uses tap water which is distinctly chlorinated.
2. coffee - which was available in two kinds of beans - one was ok, the other not so much.
To be fair, I am a tea drinker and the tap water in my home town is excellent - and I have experienced disappointing tea and coffee in many high-class hotels.
Still, it surprises me even more in a region and country that prides itself so much on the taste of it's food and wine (which both is great) - I can't explain it.
Dear hotel management: if you read this - buy some better quality tea (not in these synthetic bags), get some coffee expert barista to configure your machine to the beans, and most importantly use filtered water for the machine.
The drinking water in the bottles (both still and sparkling) for lunch and dinner was ok, and thankfully that was also provided in the rooms. Please do the same for breakfast tea+coffee.
Internet / Wifi was also a bit of a challenge, my iPhone constantly had to reconnect and I had to re-enter the password every time, and when connected it was a bit slow. Decent internet should be standard.
