We enjoyed our six-night stay. The room was large in a separate building. The furniture a bit dated and the bathroom very small. The bed was comfortable. The TV had no English stations. It was kind of nice because we did not watch the news for a week which was a nice break. The WI-FI was weak, but the manager provided us with a separate server for the room which made it perfect. The common areas of the hotel are very stylish with a nice mix of old and modern. The dining room is beautiful. Breakfast was delicious! We ate dinner one night. Some dishes delicious and superbe. Some so-so! (My husband disagrees. He thought all was excellent and he made sure I put this in the review.) The location to Basel is OK. There is an outdoor pool and I loved it and the garden. But a bit chilly in May.

Very clean room and bathroom with a nice balcony. The hotel itself is a bit out from the town centre, but it's only a 10 min walk. The staff are very friendly and helpful and most speak good English so communication is easy 😊

Quietly located family owned and run hotel and restaurant near Basel. Very friendly and welcoming which you wish would be always like this. Spacious rooms, spacious bathrooms, nicely decorated, comfortable beds, good breakfast, quiet, green surrounding, but close to everything, and all of this for doable prices. But the best, don't miss to eat in the restaurant. Excellent!! Not the usual menu, great wine list, also not the usual, absolutely worth trying. We will definitely come back when we are in the area, or even make a small detour.

Service was very good, employee was very helpful and kind. And for me most important, it is a pet friendly hotel and restaurant. Location is also great, in the middle of 3 country. Only Rooms are old and beds are not comfy

En route to Italy we had a stop at this comfortable, well run and charming hotel. One of the best nights sleep for a long time. The owner gave us some good advice on local restaurants (pizza is recommended). The breakfast was exceptional with, as highlights smart linen tablecloth, a brilliant espresso macchiato and a remarkable chocolate croissant.

February 15, 2023, we went to eat lunch at the restaurant. We had very positive souvenirs from the year before. Unfortunately, this time around we were disappointment. It was supposedly the "la semaine Francaise" and so we tried the Tajine. It was so overcooked that it was hardly eatable. We decided that this was the last time to eat at Mühle. Of course we enjoy a friendly service, but this time the waitress was so sweat that it made us uncomfortable and a bit more attentiveness would be appropriate.

Friendly family run hotel with warm welcome and charming rooms. Very quiet. Special mention to the kindness of the staff, the excellent restaurant and the very good breakfast. Price/quality ratio excellent.

The hotel is situated in a quiet area. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious with comfy beds. The Italian restaurant is really nice and serves wonderful food and great wines !!
