"This family-run business is now in its fourth generation. Behind a smart half-timbered façade, diners can choose from seasonal cuisine with some international influences and classics with a connection to the region. There are guestrooms done out in a modern Black Forest style. If you fancy a little excursion, the monastery complex and brewery are both within easy walking distance." - Michelin Inspector

Hello, We visited your hotel between April 13th and April 18th. The accommodation was perfect, the location was in one of the most beautiful places in the Black Forest and in terms of location it was in the center of the forest with easy access to most sites, shops and shopping centers. The hotel owners hosted us amazingly, courteously with a lot of patience and a smile for all our questions. The cleanliness of the room and the hotel in general was at the highest level. Parking was accessible throughout the entire period we stayed at the hotel. The breakfast was delicious, fresh vegetables and delicious breads and pastries. We wanted to thank the hosts and hotel owners for the lovely hospitality. We highly recommend coming and staying at your hotel Ofer & Dganit

I stayed here on a work trip and enjoyed my stay. I was here for 4 nights. My room was very clean and a great size. I had a top floor with a balcony. |When my colleague and I checked in, we were greeted by a friendly lady who explained the restaurant opening and closing times. She also suggested a couple places in the area for lunch and coffee. Since we were not from the area, she was very helpful in providing suggestions. |The rooms are not air conditioned and that was hard to adjust to since the weather was very warm during our stay. I was able to keep the doors and windows cracked during the day for airflow. |My room was cleaned every day and fresh towels were provided. |The hotel is also about a 7-10 min walk to the local train station. I had to travel to Schiltach daily so the train was very convenient! |If ever in the Black Forest and need a place to stay, I definitely recommend this hotel!

This is a hotel in the middle of the Black Forest run by the Beilharz family. The mother and daughter-in-law run the hotel very efficiently and the son and father cook. The room we stayed in (number 61) was fully renovated with excellent lighting, modern bathroom and full range wifi. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant just before closing time and enjoyed the food so much that we ate there the rest of our three day stay. Excellent presentation, service, and taste. I do not remember the exact name but their Riesling was very good (about 5 euro for 1/4 liter).||The price of the food was moderate to high but worth it. I think the key of their success is that they have a limited menu that only changes seasonally (mushroom time, asparagus time, etc.). There are a few parking places in front of the hotel but we opted to pay 7 euro a night for a single enclosed garage across the street. It was worth it.||The hotel is in Alpirsbach a small town but great central location to visit the Black Forest. We visited Baden Baden, the mountain scenic road, and Freiburg. But just about 1/2 hour away there is an attractive medium size town, Freudenstadt, easy to drive to and from. ||Some minor cons: the bed was a little hard and there was no mini-bar but this was no big issue for us as we travel by car and always bring bottle water. ||We highly recommend this nice family hotel.

Had a lovely 6 night stay, great rooms, super value for money. We also dined in 3 nights and it stands head and shoulders over any other restaurant in Alpirsbach. And to top it all off, the staff are super friendly and welcoming! I would go back in a heartbeat.

From the moment we checked in with our lovely hostess and member of the family, we knew that we were going to thoroughly enjoy our stay here. Our room at the rear of the hotel was large, clean and extremely comfortable with a beautiful modern bathroom, great bed and large balcony overlooking a small stream - very peaceful and quiet. Parking was at the front of the property and we left our car there as preferred to explore the town on foot (and also were given a visitors card for free/reduced travel on local transportation and entry into various attractions). Unfortunately, we were only there for two nights so could not take full advantage of this. However, the time we were there was really enjoyable - all the staff were extremely helpful and friendly without being obtrusive. We luv the traditional public areas (especially the restaurant) and then the smart modern bedrooms. One thing we noticed - in the downstairs public toilets : real hand towels to wipe your hands - now that is something that you very rarely see and is to be applauded - just a very nice touch. Breakfasts were excellent - plenty of choice and all fresh and appetising. But Dinners : oh what a treat ! there was a celebration of the asparagus and rhubarb season whilst we were there and the chef certainly made good use of the wonderful local produce - we had the duck with asparagus (lots of !) and a selection of strawberry and rhubarb desserts : delicious ! and the second night tried the roast lamb - so succulent and tender ! We really want to come back to this area for a longer visit as the surroundings are stunning and we shall certainly return to this outstanding hotel. Well done to Familie Beilharz and all your staff - you have a hotel to be proud of !

Our stay at Hotel Rössle was fantastic. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable; the staff were hospitable and accommodating; and the restaurant was outstanding. Breakfast was very good. Alpirsbach is a perfect location from which to explore the Black Forest, and Hohenzollern Castle is only an hour away. I left my Amazon Kindle here when checking out and Christina from the hotel staff contacted me to let me know and arranged to ship it back to me.

We had a great stay at Hotel Rossle, which is a lovely family run concern in the beautiful quiet town of Alpirsbach. We had two rooms a double with a sitting area and small balcony at the front of the hotel that looked over the street and a smaller single (that could have slept two) for our daughter that had a desk and a large balcony at the back of the hotel that overlooked rooftops and a little stream. Both rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was nice, the usual European fare of bread, meats & cheeses, boiled eggs, juice and good coffee. There was a restaurant but it was a little pricey so we ate well nearby at Muggelcaf and at Brauereigasthof Lowen Post. There was parking available on site (see picture) but spaces were limited and we usually ended up on the street. However it was a very quiet street with almost no traffic so it wasn’t a problem. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and were of great assistance when we were planning our day trips in the area and how to take full advantage of our short stay.
