Hôtel spa Au Club Alpin

The hotel is lovely, and the views from the rooms are amazing - but the thing that really makes this place is the staff. We particularly appreciated Axel, for whom nothing was too much effort (organising for some things to be purchased for us in a town 20 mins away and delivered to our room, in one case lending us an item of his own when we needed it, even coming in on his day off to help with our departure). Also the barman Alex who was great to chat to, and made excellent drinks (and had the rare approach of listening to how you wanted your drinks and then making them that way rather than the "official" recipe), and the restaurant manager Quentin, who on top of being very accommodating in finding ways for the kitchen to provide us food that was not on the menu, also gave us a lift in the village when we really needed it . Such a great team, thanks for helping us so much during our stay!

Stopped here for one night on the Tour du Mont Blanc. It was perfect! The staff was wonderful, the room amazing, the location perfect, and the food was a highlight for sure. I would come back to Switzerland specifically to stay here again!

The restaurant is pleasant in a very nice calm location by the lake. The food was great except for the beef wellington which was over mixed with unnecessary ingredients auch as pistachios and others. Food was a 7/10

Wonderful lunch, relaxed dining, exceptional food and service. Worth the drive, to the lakeside location. Returned a year later and the food is still excellent, service has some challenges, we had to ask on multiple occasions for our glasses to be filled....

A charming hotel on the lake. Someone spent a ton of time on the design and details of this hotel, everything was very well thought out. The rooms were lovely, the covered balcony view was perfect. The pool and spa was so relaxing. The bar, restaurant, menus were over the top - a highlight to our stay. Add in the service from all of the staff, and you end up with the perfect recipe for a relaxing holiday in Champex.

The first thing which springs into my mind is the gorgeous view. But that is not all, not by far. The room is very comfortable with brand new beds and a lot of storage room - quite an exception in the hotels of today. The bath-room is very practical... but it has (for somebody like me) a drawback. I need total black out to sleep, so I was enthusiastic when I saw the curtains blackening everything out. Unfortunately, the shaving/make-up mirror is so modern that its frame is faintly illuminated all the time. You don't notice it in the day, but in the night yes. Way too much. I asked at the reception, but they told me, they could do nothing at all. |The restaurant is very gastronomical - top food, top service... and the prices that go with it. (But as they are plenty of other restaurants in Champex the are alternatives). The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly.

A wonderful 80th birthday meal with family. Attentive and kind staff and a superb 5 course meal with an outstanding location. my only suggestions would be that wine pairing could use a little more imagination for the price and it would be nicer to separate those dining in the restaurant from the walk ins. It's an unfortunate distraction to be sat next to a couple with bare feet while enjoying such a delicious meal

The restaurant is amazing. I’m totally impressed. The environment was so elegant and with lake view😍 The food was so good, from starter to dessert. You can see the chef has put so much effort on the combination of different small things, from fruits, vegetables to flowers. And the service is better than lots of good restaurants in Paris. In the end, the chef came to talk to me and they are so nice. This is an experience that I will remember. The food seems a bit modern, I don’t know whether they are Swiss. The 49 euro menu is only for lunch and it’s 89 euro to 109 euro for the dinner of evening. Highly recommended if the price is acceptable
