Hotel & Restaurant Gredič

Receiving a code to get into your room ahead of check is great however having no staff on arrival isn’t quite the 4 star luxury you expect. The hotel has been done to a high standard but missing the finishing touches. We had no curtain in our room and then when it was solved after we questioned it the curtain came off the rail. ||No coffee making facilities in the room, they mention you can help yourselves down stairs but then the machine is not set up. When we arrived we expected a bar area where we could grab a glass of wine , admire the view after a long drive especially given your in the heart of the wine making area. There was one guy rushing around doing everything , to be fair to him he worked his ass off but the whole experience was odd and not inviting. We booked the hotel because we wanted to go wine tasting and they show a great wine tasting room. We never saw this room and we had emailed in advance asking if we could some wine tasting they never responded. They also didn’t tell us about a super event happening over the weekend where 40||Vineyards had an open cellar for tasting. Luckily the bike hire guy told us about it. They don’t change towels or tidy rooms and the air conditioning unit is below the window so if you do get a curtain it blocks the unit so the window is lovely and cool but your left roasting in bed. The bed linen and quality of finish is all excellent. There so much potential here and the location and restaurant is excellent but lots to improve on.

Never again! Our room was very small and warm (12 m2, supposedly of category “superior”) and with a noisy air conditioner. But our main complaint is that this hotel has a severe management issue. It was a Friday afternoon (July 26, 2024) : without prior notice, we were told at 4.30pm that in a few minutes the pool and bar would be closed to hotel guests and reserved for a private party for the rest of the evening. We had to put up with their music and dozens of loud, drunken people until the middle of the night, whereas the bar normally closes at 21:00. We called three different phone numbers to complain, but no one answered. The staff were clearly sorry but powerless in the face of the management's contemptuous treatment of regular hotel guests like us.

We had a dinner at the restaurant: food was fresh and very tasty, service excellent and the selection of wines very good with enough variety.

Firstly it needs to be mentioned how beautiful this place is i have never seen a more stunning hotel with Michelin star restaurant underneath. Can i also say i have zero complaints at all it is so stunning.||We came here for a family wedding and we booked out the whole hotel. Personally this is the best hotel in the world. I am a coffeeholic and this is the nicest latte i have ever tasted. Moving on , the pool is like bliss on a sunny august day||The hotel rooms are amazing and very luxurious with RFID card locks on all the doors|there are i think 7 floors ||Also as the title indicates the view is amazing. In conclusion i would give this 11/10.So this Is the most beautiful Place ever

We only stay one night, but the room was fabulous. We enjoyed the pool and walking into Italy in the vineyard after dinner. Dinner was fabulous. Room was super clean, comfortable, and classy.

Very impressed with both the hotel and the restaurant of Gredič! We stayed for 2 nights in an upgraded double room and thought the room was very comfortable. There is plenty of storage space and the bed was nice and large. We liked the bathroom and the shower's water pressure. The airconditioning was very nice. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the blonde woman! During our stay we dined at the restaurant twice, and both times were amazing! The food is remarkable, we especially liked the seabass tartare, gnocchi with ragout and the grilled squid. The accompanying wines were great and the service was perfectly adequate. During our second diner at Gredič, a storm came up which caused a defect to the door which spooked us a little. But other than that, we have no negative comments on dinner! We also had breakfast twice, both perfectly fine with a range of breads, fruits and some options for fresh eggs. All in all, we had a wonderful stay! Thanks to the great people of Gredič!

Friendly staff. Great room. We were on bicycles and the location in wine country was stunning. The food and wine experience (we let the chef choose the courses and wine) at dinner was second to none. We also learned about the joy of good cheese and honey with a charcuterie board for lunch. Just a jewel of a hotel.
