Restaurant Gredič

Firstly it needs to be mentioned how beautiful this place is i have never seen a more stunning hotel with Michelin star restaurant underneath. Can i also say i have zero complaints at all it is so stunning.||We came here for a family wedding and we booked out the whole hotel. Personally this is the best hotel in the world. I am a coffeeholic and this is the nicest latte i have ever tasted. Moving on , the pool is like bliss on a sunny august day||The hotel rooms are amazing and very luxurious with RFID card locks on all the doors|there are i think 7 floors ||Also as the title indicates the view is amazing. In conclusion i would give this 11/10.So this Is the most beautiful Place ever

We only stay one night, but the room was fabulous. We enjoyed the pool and walking into Italy in the vineyard after dinner. Dinner was fabulous. Room was super clean, comfortable, and classy.

Very very nice place to stay. Small boutique hotel with excellent restaurant, winery, terasse And pool. Stuff was very helpful..❤️❤️❤️ Suita was huge clean and very cosy…thank you for excellent staying… we spent really great time in this hotel …

Very impressed with both the hotel and the restaurant of Gredič! We stayed for 2 nights in an upgraded double room and thought the room was very comfortable. There is plenty of storage space and the bed was nice and large. We liked the bathroom and the shower's water pressure. The airconditioning was very nice. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the blonde woman! During our stay we dined at the restaurant twice, and both times were amazing! The food is remarkable, we especially liked the seabass tartare, gnocchi with ragout and the grilled squid. The accompanying wines were great and the service was perfectly adequate. During our second diner at Gredič, a storm came up which caused a defect to the door which spooked us a little. But other than that, we have no negative comments on dinner! We also had breakfast twice, both perfectly fine with a range of breads, fruits and some options for fresh eggs. All in all, we had a wonderful stay! Thanks to the great people of Gredič!

Friendly staff. Great room. We were on bicycles and the location in wine country was stunning. The food and wine experience (we let the chef choose the courses and wine) at dinner was second to none. We also learned about the joy of good cheese and honey with a charcuterie board for lunch. Just a jewel of a hotel.

We were here for a wedding and the views are amazing and very impressive for a wedding venue. The food was very nice and the overall experience with the staff was good. The only thing about the after dinner party was that in the basement, it gets really hot, so would be good to have some kind of ventilation or aircon down there. Other than that. Definitely to come here for a drink or food and enjoy the views.

Mixed feelings : the place is spotless, rooms facing the valley are spacious, stylish ,a bit too much "slatish" may be, very quiet , beautiful view on the valley below and the vineyards and yet we didn't feel comfortable : the atmosphere was cold.|| Staff are polite , efficient ,a bit too distant . don't look for a caring attitude there.||Senior citizens will find the height to climb in the bathtub and the absence of a grip to secure a safe in and out of it ,quite challenging. The same goes for the stairs leading to the dining room . |Also missing in the sitting room area of the bedroom: proper lighting for reading.||Talking about the restaurant: expect menus of several courses -_whether you like it or not-_tiny portions and no ersatz should you not like one item on the menu. The first two items were okay but the last one frustrated me.||Breakfast is excellent. ||I would recommend the place for a one night stay because of the location and the restaurant on site. After a full day of sightseeing in the region, this is convenient.||

Beautiful old house with a view of the vineyards decorated in a fairly contemporary way. Restaurant tested for dinner with very qualitative dishes. Suite on the top floor, spacious but extremely expensive (more than 450€ per night) compared to the expected quality. -> Very cold welcome and unworthy of the paid price: On arriving (around 4 p.m.) no one was at the reception. We had to wait a long time for the waiters from the restaurant to come and give us our keys : they didn't even come with us to our room and didn’t know anything about the furnitures of the room (they didn’t know the bathtub was out of order). Upon arriving, several problems: no air conditioning, bathtub out of order (we have 2 young children so it was one of our selection criteria). The manager of the hotel arrived at our request by hearing this asked us without apologizing: « what do you want? Then: if you want to leave no problem ». We got a glass of refreshment for each after insisting. No smile, no pleasant words, no attention (everything has to be paid, room service at 30€ for each order, no bottle of welcome water, no coffee machine or tea: just a paying mini bar). -> The bathtub was out of order (the tap was broken (no one had told us)). -> Very basic cleaning (see attached photos): there was still hair, cobwebs, dead insects in the toilet and dead spider on the sheets of the bed, dust on top of the hi-fi system, behind and under the furniture... -> no air conditioning contrary to what is advertised on the hotel website and Booking website (it's just a ventilation in the walls on which we cannot act): portable air conditioning was installed only the day after our arrival in the living room which helped to refresh the air a little but not very effective (we had however reported it as soon as we arrived it was nearly 30 degrees in the room) Fans are provided in addition but this is not enough to sleep well given the heat in the middle of August. -> Swimming pool not clean (leaf and earth at the bottom) and out of order outdoor shower. -> Breakfast: the products are good, served on the plate but everything comes in drops, the butter had expired for almost a month -> The staff: in the restaurant our server was smiling and helpful, but on the other hand for the rest it was clearly not up to standard: impression of disturbing, no one comes to see us at the swimming pool to find out if we want something thing. Because of all the things described, we asked for a discount and we had 5% on the room price (40€) : low for the inconvenience. In short, very bad experience, we will never return to this hotel where the manager has work to give a soul and warmth to her business. It’s a shame…
