We were entertained here by some German friends whose home town it was. We stayed with them but ate in the restaurant on a Sunday evening. This was traditional German cooking at its best. The portion sizes were not overwhelming, the food was beautifully cooked and presented and the service was smiling, friendly and efficient despite nearly all tables being taken.||||Not on a traditional tourist route - but a memorable location.

We just tried the restaurant of the hotel. It is a cosy cottage style restaurant. We came with a big group but the service and the dishes were fine.

I've stayed at the Goldenen Anker for 2 nights.. It was up to my expectation. Great welcome, great breakfast, well located in the village. Typical and good . I will come back to try the restaurant with my friends.

They do not respect the guest. I told them that I am from the Netherlands, and every day I am in Germany. I did not sleep, and they did not give me a room with staff and a failed hotel.
