We had planned on staying in Moena, Italy (for three days in late September), but found this Hotel so fantastic, that we stayed a week, not even wanting to leave then.||The rooms are spotless, spacious, embroidered linens, down comforters, hardwood floors, and views as well. We did upgrade to a superior room, with two operable skylights, making it light & bright.||But, the main reason this hotel is a 5 star, is the owner, Walter, his wife and staff are hands on, and participate in every detail. They are gracious, friendly, and professional. Service is one of the other reasons this place stands out. There is absolutely no pretense, they are the real thing. They anticipate every little detail you need, and it is there the next day. ||The food at breakfast was incredible, from fresh fruits, or fresh squeezed juice, to eggs done at your request, fresh pastries, baskets of breads, a selection of honeys, local charcuterie, local cheeses, smoked salmon. I could go on and on. Dinner at their restaurant is a local destination, full every night, because of the great food. Read the other reviews.||We have stayed at the Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok, Hong Kong, San Francisco, the Grand Hyatt multiple locations, and the St. Regis Hotels, Paris Marriott Champs Elysees, and this hotel tops them all for the quality of food and service. We are already planning our next trip.
