Beautiful hotel and location with delightful staff. English is widely spoken. The ground floor, lakeside restaurant serves top quality food and the breakfast is excellent. There’s also a rooftop restaurant but we didn’t visit it. Request a room with balcony for gorgeous views over the lake.Omegna (great market on Thursday mornings) and quaint Orta are only a short drive away. There’s a boat service from the hotel jetty in summer, but that ends early October.

Fantastic stay in a beautiful and quiet location. The staff were all wonderful, efficient and friendly. Excellent room. I was part of a tour so the food was served to the whole group and service a bit erratic but the waiting staff worked hard and kept smiling. Next time I will try the hotel restaurant which is open to non residents too. Views across the lake were stunning; roof terrace beautiful; bar prices reasonable. A wonderful place to stay.

Somewhat belated review as we stayed in May but this little hotel is worthy of a review. It is a gem. Incredible location, with views which are stunning. Sitting on our balcony early morning watching the lake was so beautiful. Staff are delightful. Restaurant and roof top bar excellent. Boat stops at the hotel. Prices very reasonable. Couldn’t have asked for more for our four night stay.

Beautifully located hotel on Lake Orta, with breathtaking views from the room. The dinners were excellent and very tasty. Parking was plentiful and convenient. We especially appreciated the honesty and customer care: the hotel proactively contacted us to refund a small overcharge — something you don’t often experience! One small point for improvement: cleaning could be a bit more thorough. There was some limescale on the shower head, dust under the bed, and behind the trash bin we found a razor and a wrapper from a previous guest. Overall though, a wonderful stay and definitely recommended for anyone visiting Lake Orta!

This was our third visit and as enjoyable as our first. It is family run and they talk with their guests. All the staff are helpful and efficient. We will hopefully visit again in the not too distant future. The a la Carte menu is varied and delicious.

Beautifully planted outside areas, lovely pool (although sadly too cold to use as out of season)clean and comfortable interiors, good food and very nice helpful staff, especially Lorenzo. I felt very safe and supported by the hotel as a solo member of a tour group when I was using the restaurant and pool by myself. Thankyou

We booked a lake view room (via Great Rail Journeys) but were allocated a standard room - one of the two worst rooms in the hotel. Traffic noise all night and parties until midnight in the roof top terrace bar directly above. No sleep!

Disappointing experience. Rooms all have very thin walls. You can literally hear everything through them. Utterly impossible to sleep. Asked to be moved, took 2 days. Next room, woken by furniture moving, mobile alarms going off, heels on laminate flooring all at 05:30 which was 04:30 my time! House keeping done until 5pm, so couldn’t even sleep in the afternoon!!Couldn’t rest and came home 10 times more exhausted than when I arrived.||Booked half board and food very poor. Had to send food back as inedible or unacceptable. Mean with drinks. 8 euros for a glass of wine but they pour enough for 2 gulps. Challenged it but still mean. Layout of hotel annoying and not guest friendly. Decor horribly outdated. Would never return. Staff ‘ok’ but no niceties. Some miserable. Wouldn’t recommend. Please think carefully before booking.
