We did not stay here but ate at the restaurant. Firstly, our waitress Jessica was absolutely amazing, she was so helpful and so friendly and joked around with us the whole time. We got all the food she recommended and were very satisfied. For desert they had a gelato cart which was very cool! The view was absolutely incredible.

Giardinetto has become even better. Some subtle renovation work has been done last winter. The views are still superb of course, also from the elegant rooftop bar.I like the seasonal menu in the restaurant , which is popular amongst the locals too. The winelist is impressive. The service is friendly.

We came here for a weekend and had a marvellous time. We woke up this morning with an amazing view of Lake Orta.|The room is very clean and the stuff is very nice.|We were delayed on the airport and Domenico, at reception made sure we had some food prepared for us as the kitchen was closing and we missed dinner.|This evening we had a beautiful dinner in the hotel. The restaurant has a great view of the lake and the food was delicious.|The hotel is very close to San Giulio where we spent most of the day walking and enjoying the medieval town. Thank you to all the staff!|We will definitely come back

Very pleasant stay at the Giardinetto. An oasis at the side of Lake Orta. Staff helpful. Restaurant lively but well served. Food great and wine list worth exploring. The walk "off the beaten track" into Orta was interesting and the view from the top of the hill in Orta was beautiful. The town was busy with plenty of restaurants. Timing the return by boat to the hotel was difficult. More options would have been better. Really peaceful and meditative.

The staff have been working at this resort for years and are delightful. The resort itself is a family operation with nice rooms and amazing lake swimming access. Getting to the village of Orta can be a challenge without a car as the ferry hours are very limited. |The food and wine choices at the restaurant are excellent as well as the views. A plus is the owners on site that are knowledgeable about wines and the area and truly care about the property

We had a great time at Hotel Giardinetto! The hotel is located just on the shore of Lake Orta with beautiful views over the lake, especially from the restaurant and the roof top bar. The room was comfortable and clean, the pool area was well kept and the restaurant served very good food. Would definitely come back!

Very helpful and friendly staff.|Fantastic location overlooking Lake Orta.|A bit cut off from Stresa but lovely ferry trip to Orta town.|Pool area superb.|We had room overlooking the road - noisy especially in the morning. |Room ok but en suite cramped. Could hear next doors plumbing.|We stayed 7 nights and food ( evening meal) was disappointing at times. A Leger Hidden lakes and gardens of Italy trip.|Breakfasts were lovely. |Would have rated it very good if had a quieter better room and better food.
