Absolutely loved this tasteful and very special place. Authentic Interior design from the 1920ies, great service, friendly staff, brilliant cocktails (I recommend the “campo” signature drink), homemade dough for the amazing paninis. Plus, the night we went, extraordinary live music and great DJ! An adventurous time travel in the midst of modern Zurich !

Stopped in for cocktails. They carried Eagle Rare bourbon. It was unusual to see knowing that it's difficult to purchase in the states. The bartender was cool as well. Mixing up to 3 drinks at the same time.

Awesome location, great staff, excellent cocktails. Upon first sight, we thought this place would be creeping with pretentiousness. I am really happy to say we were wrong. Both the staff and the other customers might be dressed a tad better than you, but they dont let you feel it. The cocktails were excellent, and the staff very friendly. I also really like the look of the place: Very New York in a way that does not come off like Times Square.

Unusual space in the side of Prime Tower. I liked it. On two floors, the ground floor is fairly small, upstairs has a lot of space though. They appear to take their cocktails seriously. They also have a few unusual beers on the menu, which gets points from me. Late evening, and the music is at a reasonable level, lots of people talking, so a good place to meet and socialize. Unusual design aesthetic, with white tiles, animal heads and retro lighting.

Had brunch here with my husband and daughter this past Sunday. We received a voucher in the mail for free cappuccino and free homemade waffles with brunch. The reviews looked good so thought we'd give it a shot. Boy were we glad we did. Loved the retro style of the place. Everything looks genuinely from an older time period...the bar, the lights, the mirrors, the walls, the curtains, the tables and chairs, and the decors....all consistently vintage looking. The waitress and bartender were very friendly and welcoming. When we walked in with a stroller, the bartender immediately took us to the elevator in the lobby of the building next door which required a key. Upon entering the second floor lounge, he politely asked other patrons to make way for us to push the stroller through, which we were very grateful for. I didn't have very high expectations for the food since the place seems more of a bar/lounge, than a restaurant. The "American Breakfast" brunch menu offers about a dozen choices of standard items such as fried/scrambled eggs; French toast; pancakes; hash browns; cornmeal waffles; honey apple granola....all for under Fr. 10. Then there was the "Hotel Breakfast", for Fr. 25, which includes a basket of various breads, eggs any style, hash browns, ham, and fruits. The choice was a no-brainer. Our cappuccinos came first and they were simply delightful. The cappuccinos were beautifully designed one with heart and the other one with leaf in the middle and tasted amazing! So rich and creamy, with a hint of chocolate, absolutely delectable! Then our food arrived, and sooo much of it. The bread basket was filled with all kinds of different breads all fresh and warm. The butter was served in a small hotel desk bell shaped metal butter dish, cleverly matching the hotel theme of the bar/lounge. Our "Hotel Breakfast" did not disappoint either, tasty and filling, exactly what I was craving. Then the waitress brought up our homemade waffles and mixed fruits platter, which looked like a whole other brunch for another person! The waffles were fluffy and airy with a little bit of powdered sugar sprinkled on top. The fresh mixed fruits were beautifully carved. Looked like somebody took pride in the presentation of the food served as well as the taste. There was nothing short of a perfect brunch experience at Hotel Rivington & Sons. Can't wait til next Sunday!

I have come here for breakfast a couple of times and have been thoroughly enjoying my stay each time. The coffees are good, the atmosphere is cool and the prices seem very fair compared to the rest of Zurich. I had the Denny's Scram Slam omelette that was very well flavored and filling, can only recommend!

One of the coolest and most stylish bars in Zurich, on the ground floor of the Prime Tower building. The drinks are good, the place not overly comfortable, but that's not why you go there anyway: Go there for a upscale drink served by ubercool Zurich bartenders in a classy atmosphere.
