"Rössli is a pleasant restaurant decorated along clean, modern lines in warm colours. Enjoy the smart place settings and friendly service led by the lady of the house and Ueli Kellenberger’s flavoursome, contemporary cuisine. The mouthwatering offerings include open ravioli with spinach, egg, parmesan and beurre noisette." - Michelin Inspector

Clean and neat rooms but very loud at night! The nearby church bell rings every hour and half-an-hour, and my night sleep was ruined entirely. Also, the breakfast was very modest: no eggs, no salmon, no dairy-free milk. So if you are lactose-intolerant or vegetarian/vegan, then there will be very few options for you. On the positive side, the location is very convenient and central, close to everything.

This is a highly recommendable hotel both for single travelers and families. It's family owned and managed. The rooms are large, well equipped and very nicely furnished. The in-house restaurant provides fantastic cuisine worth a lot more than the 15 points Gault&Millau grants them. The wine list is extensive and prices are more than fair. The Kellenbergers are perfect hosts, always kind and taking care of individual needs of their guests. No better place to stay in the area!

The welcome. The well designed high quality rooms. The quality of food at breakfast. The Michelin quality of the dining room with a world class wine selection. This is a small family run 6 star hotel. Thoroughly enjoyable. |||

One of the restaurants recommended by locals. Combines high quality with friendship, perfect service, and a homey casual touch. Behind the menu one guesses a Chef not afraid to innovate and surprise: a trait almost extinct in the west part of Switzerland. The decoration of the dining room make guests forget this is a hotel. Worh trying.

This hotel is right in the middle of Bad Ragaz, about 10 minutes walk from the station. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but you do feel like you are in a new hotel. The real highlights are the owners/managers of the hotel. They are not only extremely helpful and kind - they run an absolutely amazing restaurant. It was only on our third night that we finally got to eat there, but it was a truly fantastic experience. Even if you are not staying at the hotel, I would recommend you try dinner here if you are staying in Bad Ragaz.

once again we really enjoyed a very pleasant dinner at rössli's. The landlord in the kitchen and the landlady in the restaurant are the perfect couple to bring you the best swiss kitchen has to offer. and whatever grows in the nearby vinyards is included in the winelist. The perfect place to enjoy a nice dinner.

I went for a week on business in Malans and stayed at the hotel Roessli. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are large, the TV programmes offer a large choice of English language broadcasting. Fantastic shower. Breakfast is basic but ample. Decent WiFi. The restaurant (Tuesday to Saturday) is excellent (if a little expensive). ||Bad Ragaz has a small choice of decent restaurants, some of which are open in August !!!||This would have been a 5* review if there had been a desk in the room and a few visible power sockets. Most business people have a PC, pad and phone and most hoteliers haven't caught up with this.

We stayed at the Hotel Rossli two years ago and were pleasantly surprised at the experience. It is very centrally located to the town Spa which is minutes walking distance away and there is a nice grocery store just up the street about 1/4 mile.Though the wait for dinner was a little long sometimes it's becasue Chef Kellenberger's creations were 5 star and all the town seemed to want to dine there every night! It was always packed but for the guests the wait for a table was non-existent! The most incredible dining experience we have ever had while abroad in Europe! The wine selection was also fantastic! Now for the rooms; evrything was neat as could be with super fresh sheets and a toilet separate fromt the shower area. What made the room extra special was the view of the Swiss Alps out our window as well as an extremely high quality HEPA air filtration system built in. We have never awoken with such ability to breath cleanly through our noses with no congestion one normally finds in hotels without this air cleaning equipment! We are travelling back to Bad Ragaz this year and will book with Doris and Ueli Kellenberger again and always.
