Hotel Royal Garden Villas

My wife and spent 6 nights in this fabulous hotel. A beautifully presented boutique-style hotel — not too big, yet wonderfully luxurious. The accommodation was elegant, with fantastic views and exceptional service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. It truly felt like a calm oasis, perfectly located within easy reach of Costa Adeje. The Villa we stayed in had a beautiful pool with terrace. There is a selection of supermarkets within 20 minutes’ walk. We would definitely be coming back to enjoy the sunshine and excellent service and facilities of the Royal Garden Villas.

TL;DR: Gorgeous hotel with stunning villas, friendly staff, and excellent food/service that exceeded expectations. A few small drawbacks (late room service, ants, traffic noise, location a bit remote, minibar-only fridge) kept it from being 5 stars, but overall an amazing stay—we left refreshed and would absolutely return! Honestly, one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! The only reason I’m not giving a full 5 stars is because of a few small details: both times we ordered room service it arrived late and we had to follow up, there were a few ants around, the fridge was stocked entirely with minibar items (no space for personal use), the hotel is close to a road so you occasionally hear heavy traffic, and the location can be a bit tricky if you don’t have a car. None of these things ruined our stay, but they may be worth noting if you’re someone with higher expectations. Now onto the amazing parts! The staff: Every single staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly, greeting us each morning with a smile and a “good morning.” Roman at reception made us feel welcome straight away and explained the WhatsApp communication system, which was really convenient. William showed us to our villa (we were upgraded to a Majestic Villa named Kentia 😱😍) and kindly explained how everything worked. The restaurant team were always cheerful and attentive, wishing us a good day as we left breakfast each morning. The food: Although we didn’t dine in the restaurant for dinner (the menu just wasn’t to our taste), the room service was outstanding—far better than what you usually expect. Presentation was thoughtful too: staff set our table beautifully instead of simply dropping the food off. Highlights included: • Night one – chicken nuggets (very British of us, I know!), a fresh fruit salad, and a cookie the size of my face. • Day two – a dream poolside brunch with ham and tomato salsa on bread, cheeses and crackers, Spanish tortilla, croquetas, fruit salad, and orange juice (sangria was also available). • Dinner that night – calamari, a burger, and a brownie, all cooked perfectly. Breakfast each morning offered a wide selection: from hot English-style dishes to continental cheeses, ham, and pastries. And if you wanted something else, the staff were always happy to help. One really special touch: on our first morning, a violinist performed live in the restaurant. She played beautifully, walked between the tables engaging with guests, and even paused to perform “Happy Birthday” for someone celebrating, which was such a sweet moment. The villa: Absolutely stunning, it was a “wow” moment walking in. There were minor signs of wear (like a few pool tiles missing), but nothing that detracted from the experience. The view was gorgeous, the private pool was heated (with a night light for evening swims), and both bedrooms had enormous, comfortable beds. We loved that the TVs allowed Chromecast—perfect for Netflix nights with room service. Final thoughts: This hotel and its villas delivered exactly what my husband and I needed: relaxation, comfort, and fantastic service. Despite a few small drawbacks, the overall experience was incredible, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. We’ll definitely be coming back. Huge thanks to the whole team for giving us the break we so desperately needed—we’re heading home refreshed and so grateful ❤️

Absolutely lovely hotel. On arrival we were welcomed by a lovely gentlman on reception who was very helpful. Advised that communciation is via whatsapp which is really convenient and replies are extremely quick. Rooms are beautiful, lovely bedroom and bathroom and outdoor area had plenty of choices to sit and relax. There is a hill towards La Caleta but this is not a problem to those used to walking around 20 mins. Restuarants are wonderful, this is our third time in Costa Adeje and will be our choice of accomodation next year.

My husband and I stayed here recently for a quick getaway before the school holidays. We chose this hotel specifically for some quiet relaxation away from the busy hustle and bustle of the more popular areas. We throughly enjoyed our stay in one of the Duchess Villas with private pool. Our check in was smooth and following a short tour of the expanse hotel space, we were kindly shown to our room. The villa was incredibly spacious, tastefully decorated and the pool the perfect size and depth to enjoy. We really appreciated the full sized kitchen where we were able to store various snacks and drinks for our daily excursions. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The air conditioning worked well and ensured we were able to sleep comfortably at night. The grounds of the hotel are stunning, well maintained and almost as though you are in Bali or Thailand. Lots of beautiful features and plants to admire on your walk to breakfast in the morning. Breakfast was fantastic with a great selection of various different options that changed day to day. Staff were friendly, attentive and the manager Fiona would welcome us and enquire about our stay which is a truly special touch. We didn’t use the general pool but it looked beautiful with views over the neighbouring golf course. We did however make use of the spa and my husband was very impressed with his massage saying it was one of the best he has ever had! The spa was equally beautifully decorated and had some great facilities including rain shower and steam room. The one only downside was that the outdoor areas of the villas face a road which at times could be noisy. When in the villa though I didn’t notice any noise which meant our sleep wasn’t disturbed. We had a hire car during our stay which we would recommend if you intend on going out for day trips or dinner in the evenings. We did walk to the nearest shops quite easily. There is underground parking for guests which is easily accessed and operated once checked in. We would definitely return in the future and would recommend to anyone. Fantastic stay in this beautiful boutique style setting. We were a Family of four, 2 teenage daughters. ||From the minute we arrived at the airport, we felt utterly relaxed and looked after as they kindly arranged pick up for us. ||The complex is small but very special with a magical entrance & reception area surrounded by a beautifully maintained pool & garden. ||Our villa was absolutely stunning, every comfort provided and the heated pool was much appreciated by our girls as-well as the flamingo floatable! ||There is ample facilities to be fully self catering with several supermarkets a close taxi ride away but we ate out at evening. Outdoor area of our villa was beautiful, plenty of space for shade & sunbathing. No noise from neighbours or traffic. ||Comfy beds with daily housekeeping, turndown service. Ice & water as needed. Towels replaced as needed. ||All of the staff just want to make your stay special and they are just so helpful. It obviously is due to the management of Fiona who’s there at breakfast being hands on and working with the team. ||The hotel restaurant is superb. Food is exceptional and waiters cannot do enough to help. We had planned on eating there a few times during our stay but there is so much to choose from in the area we didn’t have time! ||We are already looking forward to our return trip in February!

Such a great stay! The villa is spacious and gives you a sense of abundance and luxury. Even the car garage is artistic. Services and food are top notch. Hotel manager Fiona is a lovely lady and she greets everyone at every meal. And she can sing!

A magical and romantic place with stunning views, and well appointed villas. No attention to detail has been spared, with beautiful interiors, and gorgeous greenery surrounding the property. The friendly and warm hearted team, are clearly very well managed by the excellent Fiona. I’m so glad that we chose the Royal Garden Villas to celebrate by 60 birthday - they all made it so special for us!

What an absolutely amazing place to stay! The hotel is just perfect and the staff could not be any more helpful! Spotlessly clean and very personable. The manager spoke to us daily to ensure we didn’t need anything. The views from the pool makes you feel like you are in a secret location. Breakfast was absolutely amazing! 110% recommend and I have stayed all over I the world. Book it- you won’t regret it!

Never in my life have I stayed anywhere as luxurious, decadent and superbly decorated in my life! Royal Garden Villas really do feel royal! I went here about three or four years ago and it was just one of the best holiday experiences I've had! I have enjoyed every holiday I've been on but the accommodation isn't always as nice as you'd like. There is Wi-Fi, a spa, gym, restaurant and several different apartments to rent out. It's completely serene and relaxing here. For a week long stay with flights prices can start from £137 a person which is just insanely good! One of the best stays of my life! Adeje is a nice part of Tenerife too! Located within Santa Cruz which is the Capital.. so you have everything you could want and more!
