Hotel Saint George

I think this might have been the most comfortable hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms are spacious with blackout drapes. The beds and bedding are superb. The toiletries (Aesop) are to die for. The shower is roomy and hot. The towels are huge and thick and thirsty. The housekeeping is impeccable. The coffee is wonderful. Our dinner in the bar was excellent. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful when we needed it, and invisible when we didn’t—I think they try to give guests their privacy. All in all, a great stop for weary travelers.

Excellent bar with friendly servers and the steak they served was perfectly prepared. Very posh and metropolitan, even though most folks are in hiking boots or sandals!

The food at L'Aventure is really delicious and the service is good. The rooms are big, clean and nicely furnished. The service at the front desk and Bar Saint George is sub-par. It's clear that no one really cares--esp at the front desk. Feels like you're an imposition. Wouldn't recommend staying here except for the fact that it's the only hotel besides Paisano.

Beautiful hotel and incredibly helpful staff. Had an accident and Maggie, Rob and Matt went above and beyond to help solve our issue. Rooms were very clean and large and loved the Aesop.

We stayed at the Hotel St George on the 23 and 24th and we were not impressed. The lobby , gift shop and elevators smelled like sewage which made our stay less than enjoyable, which made the overall experience uncomfortable. We expected better than this for what we paid for the rooms.

I was deciding between Hotel Saint George and Hotel Paisano and I’m so glad I chose Hotel St George! It’s clean, modern, fresh. Great location walking distance to galleries and restaurants (we enjoyed Margaret’s for dinner). But what makes it so special is the art! Amazing contemporary pieces in the hallways, lobby, in the rooms. I was walking around mesmerized by all the art, I even walked through all 4 floors just to see what the other floors had on display. Thanks for curating such a special spot ✨

What a fantastic place! I've been to Marfa several times, but I finally got the opportunity to stay at this historical hotel. The pool is lovely, the service is exceptional (shoutout to Karla for taking care of my morning coffee addiction!), and the host is gracious and down to earth. 10/10, unparalleled! If you want to treat yourself to a beautiful and luxurious place to stay for the weekend then you will definitely want to visit St.George. My revisit was just as great as the first time and I truly enjoyed the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms and the comfortable beds. I only wish I could bring the whole experience back home with me and somehow decor my house exactly like HSG. The restaurant and bar are conveniently situated in the same building and that’s another reason why I chose and enjoyed about this place. I had a few at the bar and was treated like family by the bar staff. Thanks to the hotel staff for the hospitality and service they provided me and the veterans discount for my stay. 3/20/2024
