Where to start. We first were sent here on assumption by an airport employee that "this is a great hotel". When we arrived we immediately had issues. Which we understood the majority of the island is french speaking but here we had no form of communication with staff. Trying the best we could with an online translator, the staff was unwilling to help us find a taxi the 2 days we were here (staying due to an emergency). Or assist us in finding restaurants. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and nothing seemed open for miles. It was in a secluded area lined with filth. The rooms were nasty, out dated, and the WiFi was horrible to non-existent. The Internet worked in the lobby but not in the rooms. The landlines didn't work, nor did the tv... thankfully we met an English speaking local who drove us to a place for dinner then decided to stay elsewhere for the second night.
