Tucked away in the charming old town of Vis, this boutique hotel perfectly blends authentic Dalmatian charm with modern comfort and warm, personalized service.||The hotel itself is beautifully restored, with stone walls, tasteful decor, and serene courtyards that immediately transport you into vacation mode. Our room was spotless and elegantly furnished, with plush bedding, air conditioning, and a lovely view over the terracotta rooftops. The attention to detail was outstanding—everything from the welcome drink to the locally sourced toiletries felt thoughtfully curated.||What really sets San Giorgio apart, though, is the hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, offering restaurant tips, helping us book excursions, and even sharing stories about the island's rich history. You can tell this is a place run with heart.||Breakfasts were a daily highlight—fresh fruit, homemade pastries, eggs cooked to order, and excellent coffee, all enjoyed on the peaceful garden terrace. And the location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the waterfront, local restaurants, and the ferry terminal, yet blissfully quiet at night.||If you're looking for a tranquil, refined, and truly authentic Croatian island experience, San Giorgio Hotel is it. We can’t wait to return.

We are so happy to have stayed at Hotel San Giorgio, Vis. The room was spacious, bed so comfortable and the views from the terrace were lovely. The breakfast with eggs made by the very lovely and generous owner, eaten outside in the courtyard was something else. We felt like it was a honeymoon. A short walk and we were swimming with the locals in the Adriatic. Easy walking to other restaurants. Best of all we were on Vis on a Wednesday evening where Mamma Mia 2 is played on the big outdoor screen as a lot of the movie was filmed on Vis. Such a special place, would highly recommend.

We had an amazing time at this hotel for our honeymoon. The owner was very welcoming and kind. The food at their restaurant was also amazing! The rooms were spacious and very clean. Overall would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in vis!

Jewel on the island oasis of Vis! Charming, intimate hotel with a perfect location, well-appointed rooms and excellent staff. Located in the car-free zone of the town of Vis, the San Georgio’s understated elegance and accommodating amenities provide a restful, restorative and stress-free environment for its clients. The staff is incredibly helpful; they provided complimentary pick up and drop off service for us for the ferry, in addition to recommendations for restaurants, beaches and other activities. The hotel has bikes and helmets for those travelers who fancy pedaling the streets around the town of Vis or the hills above the town. A wonderful experience — we highly recommend this jewel of a hotel!

The stay in the hotel was a mixture of good and poor experiences. The location is in the centre of town in the renowned old stone house, which is great. And that’s about it when talking about good stuff.|If you come by car there is no reserved parking or paid public parking. You are happy if you park at the wild parking a couple of hundred meters away. |The breakfast is really poor. Selection of salami is the cheapest you can find in the local supermarket. The owner is preparing eggs which is okay. |The bed in our room was poor. |The owner is polite and helpful in giving advice about the Island.
