After 13 days of traveling through Colombia we had three wonderful days at hotel San Pedro de Majugua. Two nice beaches, one with and one without music. The five stars are for the rooms and the kitchen, the food was delicious. We went to swim at 7pm in the dark where plankton was, it lights up when moving the water. We also went for snorkeling.

Our island paradise for 5 days! When the staff heard we were on honeymoon they upgraded us to the best room in the hotel. The room was clean and cleaned well every day. ||The restaurant was good and had some variety. The restaurants in the village were closed as far as we could see (maybe because we were there out of season) so we had all our meals in the hotel which was a bit unexpected and a little repetitive and expensive but the food was all good so we didn't mind.||The gems of this place were the staff! Diana and Isabella and the gentleman whose name we didn't get were welcoming. One of the waiters at the beach bar was our dj for an afternoon which was great fun! All the restaurant staff knew us by the time we left and looked after us so well and were friendly and warm. The cleaning staff were great, as were the boat captains. Such a great team.||Minor thing - the coffee is not good!||Overall a lovely room in a comfortable hotel on a Caribbean island, what more could you want?

We had a wonderful experience on the island and in this specific hotel. Staff was smiley and very courteous, five stars for service. The food was delicious, we didnt even need to go to any other hotels and we are very picky with our food usually. The locals are happily sharing their island with the tourists. We did snorkeling, plancton watching, more snorkeling..and just relaxing in this paradise. We recommand Majagua hotel with no hesitation.

We had an excellent stay. The service was top notch. Everyone really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. You just have to get used to slower island life, and enjoy - and that’s a good thing! Our two young children had fun - there was a swing set for them to play and they enjoyed the beach. They also enjoyed the trip to the Oceanarium offered every day. Otherwise we enjoyed the white sands and crystal clear blue waters. The wifi signal was strong even in our rooms, so we enjoyed some family movie nights on Netflix at night. The food was delicious. The only option is the restaurant in sight. Although not cheap, more than fair for the quality of food which was excellent.||Highly recommend staying and going with the flow here, and enjoying nature and slower pace of life

What a delightful place! The staff is excellent; Pedro especially encouraged our rudimentary Spanish. It was a delight to eat our meals at the dining area. ||It’s an island so maybe the hot water supply is a little less than desired but everything else makes up for it. Highly recommend!

Run down facility, no beach, dead coral in water - not worth the trip. Don’t spend the money going to the Rosario Islands and definitely not this resort. It’s a total tourist scam. There are more beautiful beaches all over the world. It’s total waste of money and time. We did a day trip on our last day in Cartagena and it’s a terrible last impression of Colombia.

Such a paradise and very glad we came! Great staff and beautiful beaches. The rooms are spacious and wonderful. Two beach areas are nice as one is quiet and one has lively music. Activities are available or you can just relax. Highly recommend the canoe tour through the mangroves and visit to the town. 10/10!

We stayed here 2 nights and we were very happy with our accommodations in the room called casa pelicano. The food was good and the service was great! I especially want to point out Donny at the beach bar who was exceptional with the service he provided and so polite and friendly. Jeremy at the front desk was also a pleasure to interact with. Honestly all the staff was great. This is our second time at this location and I’m sure we will be back
