Fantastic staff. Concierges both, Samantha and Felix are stand outs. They are both great problem solvers even when the challenges are not involving the hotel, such as car rental or concert tickets… Whatever you require to make your stay relaxed and unencumbered they will volunteer their capable assistance. Lovely and relaxing place to hang your hat when in Salzburg.

Absolutely love this hotel. I’ve never been to a hotel before where the staff was so glad to see us. When we left, I told him that I would be back and we are going back this December for the Christmas market in Salzburg.. It’s the staff that makes his hotel so wonderful the accommodations our first class. It is the best hotel I’ve ever been to..

We had the best time staying here. The location is dreamy and the staff treats you like royalty. The hotel sits high up on a hill and provides the most incredible views from the garden. Luckily there is an elevator to take you to the city below.

We had a really wonderful stay. The hotel is beautiful. The location is really fantastic. The Tower Room was incredibly clean and comfortable. The staff is exceptional, friendly, and very attentive. We would absolutely stay here again without a second thought.

From the wonderfully personal check-in to the people who make this small, elegant boutique hotel, run like a top.|Our room with the terrace had a wonderful view extraordinary artwork was huge and had a delightful bathroom with two large sinks.|The food was superb in the small spa was more than adequate.|The setting is at the top of the hill in a lovely forest|If you are visiting Salzburg, you cannot go wrong staying here

This hotel treats you like royalty from the moment you walk in the door, from skipping the traditional check-in and giving you a glass of champagne and a sit down in their lovely bar while they do the work, to giving you the most friendly welcome from all staff. We had the privilege of being upgraded to the castle suite free of charge, which was abundant in size, with the most beautiful antique character and sky high ceilings. A beautiful double size bathroom with full walk in closet and ice cold air conditioning. Not to mention the property has the most beautiful gardens and color. Access to town by foot is easy with the museum elevator to the lower level (free with card provided by hotel). The hotel restaurant food is 10/10. This was one of the higher cost hotels we stayed during our honeymoon but we found it was worth the cost 100% compared to the others due to the level of treatment and service. If you plan to splurge on a hotel in Salzburg this is the one you must visit. Cannot wait to come back!

We started our trip in Budapest and ended at the Hotel Schloss Monchstein and what a fabulous way to end our vacation. From the moment we pulled up, we were greeted by Alessio with 2 glasses of champagne which was a perfect beginning to the "over-the-top" service that we received during our stay. Every associate we met, received us with a warm, friendly greeting, always remembering our names, and a desire to assist in any way possible. I sent the hotel a couple of e-mails prior to our stay and each one was answered quickly, with a thorough response, even by the Night Auditor (as we have an 8 hour time difference). The turn down service was always presented with a moist, delicious Bundt Cake, such a nice touch. The property was immaculate, while we didn't get the chance to dine a the Glass Garden, I would highly recommend Osteria Cavalli, just a short taxi to town and the Italian Food and service were fabulous.

Percehed on top of a hill, this is a historic location with incredible views, unlike any other in Salzburg. The service is impeccible. Everyone does their best to help you. We are planning to visit Salzburg again, just to be able to stay there.

This is a hotel out of the world. The setting is enchanting. The staff are very friendly. They gave me one of their nicest room with stunning view of Salzburg. I am a sucker for wonderful views and it made my stay very memorable.

Beautiful views; lovely walk to Old Town. Excellent beds, bath, linens, & restaurant. Friendly & helpful staff from welcome drinks to packing gourmet picnic lunches. Tip to hotel: Muzak is awful; Mozart would be a vast improvement.

This hotel was fantastic! It was beautiful inside and out and the staff was top notch. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us on every request. The breakfast was delicious and there were many options. The spa was beautiful and relaxing.
