Stunning hotel right on the lake. Very well run with excellent food, would highly recommend the restaurant by the water front. Recently renovated rooms, beautifully done. Amazing spa, beautiful views and fantastic gym. Hotel provides lots of water activities such as boat tours, waterskiing and tubing, and there are free paddle boards attached to the pier to be taken out onto the lake. A highlight was the hotel’s all-day gelatoria on the waterfront with a fantastic selection! Wonderful stay, can’t recommend enough

Absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful property. The amenities are incredible with heated lake pool, spa facilities, and beautiful landscape throughout. The staff could not have been more welcoming and eager to provide whatever we requested. Our room was lovely with views of the lake and manicured grounds. There is ample storage in the rooms, comfortable bedding and very nice bathroom features. I had the best pedicure of all time with a beautiful view of the lake during it. Fabulous! Our stay at Schloss Seefels was a highlight of our 3 week trip in Austria.

I must say in my humble opinion this is the first hotel on the most gorgeus lake in Austria.|When I ask others who live in Austria they agree as well as many world travellers.||Ths team demonstrates the epitome of hospitality.|From the moment they greet you, you realize you have made the best descision in your life.||The views are stunning everywhere you look, as each room, the classsy, exraordinary bar, the dining room with the most creative and delicous food and flexible chef and team. Where you ccan dine outsie on the terrace or inside.|I could go on.

Hotel Schloss Seefels – A Truly Exceptional Stay ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can confidently say that our recent stay at Hotel Schloss Seefels in Austria was one of the top three hotel experiences of my life. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff set the tone. Every single team member went above and beyond, creating not just luxury but genuine hospitality. 🥐 Breakfast Excellence The breakfast team, led by Restaurant Manager Mr. Pizzo, Chef de Rang Mr. Slobo, deserves the highest praise. They went out of their way every day to create vegan and vegetarian options that were fresh, delicious, and thoughtful. Their care transformed breakfast into a highlight of our stay. 🍝 Porto Bello Restaurant At dinner, the Porto Bello team under Mr. Hofman elevated plant-based dining to a fine art. They not only catered to our needs but made us feel celebrated. From specially curated menus to redoing dishes until they were perfect, the team’s commitment to excellence was extraordinary. A special thank you to the amazing waitress on our last night who left us with a lasting impression. 💆 Spa & Relaxation & Sporting facilities At the spa (and poolside), Mr. Daniel and his team delivered outstanding treatments and service, while poolside staff anticipated our needs seamlessly. Pure bliss. The gym was also world-class, as were the tennis courts, padel court, and putting green. We even rented the luxurious hotel e-bikes to travel around the lake, and we were guided there very kindly be the reception team, always with a smile no matter what time of day. 🏡 Housekeeping & Comfort Thanks to Ms. Alisa, Ms. Goga, and Ms. Marija, our rooms were kept immaculate, always with a warm smile. Their dedication added a real sense of comfort and care. 24/7 our rooms were in pristine condition. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Reception & Grounds The reception team (the incredible team of Front Office Manager Ms. Franziska, Assistant Front Office Manager Ms. Naomi, Receptionist Ms. Simone) made us feel like family, from welcoming our children so warmly to thoughtful touches like refilling my water bottle before tennis. Meanwhile, the gardening and grounds team deserves recognition for keeping the property pristine and beautiful throughout. ✨ Leadership & Final Touches A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Barbara Soffritti, whose leadership and personal warmth radiated through every aspect of the hotel. Having stayed at world-class hotels such as The Lanesborough in London and L’Apogée in Courchevel, I can confidently say Schloss Seefels stands proudly among them, if not above. This was hospitality at its absolute finest. We left with full hearts, nourished souls, and memories to treasure. Already dreaming of our return.

This type of expense, location and ambience should be accompanied by stellar service throughout.||Having read other guests superlatives I have been a little hesitant to share my experiences below. But they happened to- we’re not dealt with properly - and have left quite a sour taste.||We booked online 5 days before we arrived and chose the fully flexible option only to find we were already inside the cancellation period that is actually seven days prior to arrival. None of this is shared until you make the reservation.||Upon arrival our check in required us to lift all the cases into the hotel with no help.||The check in staff were so ‘busy’ telling us that there are no lakeside walks due to the Austrian authorities that they completely neglected to share with us the ‘Wörthersee travel card’ we should have been issued. This cost is €138 in costs we did not need to pay and the only comment made by reception when we realised the mistake was ‘sorry’.||Only one restaurant was open - again this was not clear until we arrived - which resulted in considerable readjustment. ||There is no doubt the hotel is beautiful and leaving the door onto the balcony open overnight was lovely.||But - for me - the hotel has some serious issues to deal with prior to peak season and - when a customer is charged €760 per night - they should be provided with what they paid for.

This is probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Everything was wonderful: attentive and polite service, incredibly beautiful design, and even though it was the holidays, there were not many people, so it was quiet and peaceful🍀Both breakfast and dinner were top-notch. The view from the window overlooking the lake, all the amenities, the spa, and the pool were all fantastic. However, one downside was that the TV in the room kept turning on by itself for some reason, which made it hard to sleep. We ended up having to unplug it from the socket at night. Later, the reception told us that it was a glitch with that specific TV in that particular room, but it really affected the quality of our sleep on the first night.

Unquestionably the best hotel I have ever stayed in. There will be bigger, more expensive etc hotels on the planet, but for relaxation, this is my pick. I think they have the most important criteria (for me), just right. The location right on the lake is beautiful, the decor is so tasteful, food was excellent, but their greatest asset is the staff. You can tell the training and customer service is of the highest standard. In my opinion staff can make or break a hotel and the management here have it just right. I genuinely can't wait to go back when I need a breather and a bit of pampering. From the welcome glass of champagne to the dip in the heated lake pool, love it !

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We booked an extended Christmas stay, including the Christmas arrangement offered by the hotel. The service was outstanding, the food was very good and the rooms were spacious with a nice balcony and view of the lake. We also enjoyed the spa where we received the best facial treatment ever. Overall I can highly recommend a stay in the hotel.
